Education / An Open Letter To All Postgraduate Students In Africa by hipinnacle: 10:20pm On Mar 17, 2018
An Open Letter to all Postgraduate Students in Africa

To all "co-postgraduate students", I am on my knee pleading with you; stop wasting your time, it won't work, your research won't matter, it will definitely be a waste of time as it has always been.

What for? Why waste your great years wasting away. If your research does not focus on "strictly #socioeconomic solutions", drop it and go get a job.

I am sick and tired relating with #postgraduates and keep hearing the same thing: government is not sponsoring research and no infrastructure to carryout research in Nigeria. How I wish I can travel out and do my research? What the heck! And we keep knocking our head on it, do we want to get knockout? The time is ticking...

Let me tell you the essence of research in a nutshell. It is either it is tendering towards solving a societal problem, creating a meaningful solution or at least initiating curiosity. Don't you get it? At least people should be able to ask questions; what if you do it like this? What is the impact? Can it be commercialized? Does it solve a peculiar or simple problem. If no, drop it! No need of just ticking the attendance and making people feeling you are busy when you know within yourself you are wasting your time.

Why must we keep making the same mistakes, and after the whole MBA, Master or #PhD degree, we ask ourselves the damning question; what for?

For you not to ask yourself what for and keep regretting your action for the rest of your life, ask yourself if your research is answering this questions:

1. Can I make business out of my research? That is, can I leverage my research to startup or build businesses that can create jobs and wealths just like Google, Facebook, Uber, Dropbox, or #agromerchant

2. Do I have a company that is interested in investing in my invention when am done? If your research is not investments or grant worthy, drop it.

3. Do I have the instinct that what am doing will satisfy either of the two above even if there are none for now? If you are not so sure that what you are doing will lead to revolution, innovation or renovations, why waste time on it?

If you and your research work is not within the hemisphere of any of those three questions above.... You are just another dumb gathering papers and certifications to decorate the wall of your apartment. Repent today because #Africa need you urgently to either create or disrupt and not another classroom lecturer with nothing tangible to offer.

Working hard in #Nigeria is hell, adding not well defined project to it, it is worst...

Business / How We Are Helping Nigeria Governments To Boost Non-oil Export Markets by hipinnacle: 1:20am On Feb 20, 2017
Agromarketplace Nigeria via her online presence, www.agromerchant.com is one of the few Nigeria companies to key and delve into the government dream to make Nigeria a cynosure where people can come to trade and transact business in the agricultural sector. Government is looking for a subtle way to diversify from oil into a more sustainable business and agriculture and agro-commodities popped up fast. For us, helping government to boost non-oil and agricultural commodities export market is a priority.

Our exclusive impression is that for Nigeria to survive and wage war against poverty and monopolistic economy, we must diversify by telling the whole wide world (www) that we have the right climate condition, soil texture and structure, rainfall and sun per excellence to grow 90% of the raw materials and commodities cum foodstuff needed by the international markets.
In Nigeria, it is established that we have abundant cocoa, palm kernel, Shea butter, sesame seeds, timbers, woodlots, soya beans, cashew nuts, mangoes, cassava, best rice, sugar cane, pure honey, hibiscus flower, fruit bread, bitter cola, cola nut, maize, yams, pineapple, coconut, rich watermelon and cucumber, and many green vegetables and fruits. We are richly blessed.

Today at Agromarketplace Nigeria, we are structuring agro marketplace by adhering strictly to international standards and specifications and packaging terms leveraging on our team expertise to keep supplying and exporting fresh farm produce, foodstuff and agro commodities. By God grace, we are mitigating unemployment; creating wealth and helping farmers get their produce to the doorstep of both local and international buyers.

Without any doubt, we are the best in the industry. We are online, we are more visible and ready to give our clients the best and quality agro produce in the best hygienic way possible.

Surely, we are the standard you need to get quality foodstuff and agro commodities right at your doorstep anywhere in the world 24/7.

Agriculture / Ginger Season Is Here Again- How To Tap Into The Local And Export Market by hipinnacle: 3:49pm On Nov 07, 2016
Maximize this huge opportunity trading ginger this season.

Yes! Ginger trading season is here again. A good business time for ginger farmers, producers, processors, marketers, local buyers and exporters.

Learning the uses of ginger and how to tap into it, and benefit massively from the local and export market ginger avails is crucial at this stage. If you call this piece or article a tutorial or vital information, you are absolutely right. Nevertheless, do not just digest the huge opportunities ginger market is making available, dabble into the market and an active player. Our idea is for you to see it as a business tutorial or data gathering and knowledge acquiring that help you to take decisive decision to forge into the coast of doing ginger business both locally and internally.

Whichever way you decide to be a player; either selling in the local market or looking out for foreign buyers to sign export contracts, I can assure you that you are going to make good profit and be smiling to the bank building your wealth profile while others are complaining of economic recession.

I have said it here on several occasions that there is real money you can make in the agribusiness sector, if you understand the pros and cons of the business. Agribusiness is far beyond farming. The value-chain in the agricultural industry is huge and massive. Ginger trading is just one. With buying, processing, packaging and selling ginger in the local or international market or both, you can be sure of massive proceeds.

Every year, countries like Europe, Asia, and South cum North America peep and look into Nigeria market to source and buy ginger; fresh, powdered or split dried ginger in large volume or quantity. The tonnages that are being air-cargo, shipped and hauled out of Nigeria are enormous. This year is not an exception, big agro and industries buyers are lining up to buy this agro produce at international approved prices and standards.

At Agromarketplace Nigeria Limited with our online marketplace at www.agromerchant.com, we have what it takes to provide and supply you quality and standard ginger for both local and export markets.

We are creating a better supply and value chain in the food and agricultural industry.

Agriculture / From Tomato Exit To Tomato Bumper Production And Harvest by hipinnacle: 10:16pm On Jun 17, 2016
Nigeria face what I term a cardiac arrest in her existence in the food industry most especially in the tomato sector since her independence in 1960. It was a cardiac arrest because it is unexpected, sudden and unprepared for. The grievous damages caused by “Tuta Absoluta” on tomato production in Nigeria met her citizenry and government unaware. Nothing could be used to ascribe and relate how shocking and dismayed this occurrence of high level of tomato scarcity and price hike experienced in the local market.

Tuta absoluta, a pest which believed not to have originated from Nigeria but to have migrated from Niger republic (a neighboring Africa country very close to Nigeria) to Kastina Sate (a Northern state in Nigeria) in year 2015 had caused a devastating disability to one of Nigeria most stable vegetable, tomato. This pest which could ravaged and destroyed hundreds of tomato and potato hectares in few days has made the produce price to skyrocketed beyond human imagination in a country with abundance of fertile lands, water resources, natural and serene climatic conditions with plentiful human capacity to boost crops production, yields and harvest all year seasons.

How could one imagine that a mere four piece of tomato that is being sold for less than fifty naira (Nigeria currency) can be sold for as high as seven hundred naira in just two month apart? It is jokingly spread in Nigeria that for the first time that locally grown and produced tomato price is far more than imported apple fruit which was believed to be one of the most expensive crop in Nigeria. The joke is true.

Tomato Recovery is a Must: Steps to Boost Production
The sudden disappearance and exit of quality tomatoes in the marketplace will not do anybody any good. Proactive steps must be taken by farmers, agropreneurs and researchers to boost production so that we can start to enjoy bumper to bumper harvest again. How? You can be a tomato farmer or producer today. But I have never planted tomato before, you said. Yes, it is true you haven’t but you can become one accidentally and feed the nation. After all, the scarcity and hike in price happens accidentally.

Make money and build a new stream of wealth for yourself planting tomato today;
You heard me right. Many entrepreneurs and business people usually dabble into business and build voyage of enterprises accidentally. Occurrences or circumstances like the one we are experiencing in the tomato industry in Nigeria today inspire them to venture into business, agribusiness inclusive. You can be the next millionaire if you can take the bold step to become part of the solution Nigeria needed to recover her tomato loss. Plant tomato today, in six weeks, you will make provision for your family and who knows you sell o your community.

Quick Steps to Venture into tomato Farming and Build an Agro Niche for Yourself
• Start a tomato garden at your backyard
• If you have some cash, purchase a greenhouse to control and regulate climatic conditions necessary to grow tomato in large quantity
• Buy hybrid tomato seeds and start a farm using simple irrigation system like drip irrigation
• Talk to us @ www.agromerchant.com by using our contact page or email or through phone call on farming tomato or creating a smooth marketplace for your produce to sell.

At Agromerchant, we teach and encourage people to go into farming, build an enterprise around agribusiness and contact us to create local and international marketplace for your harvested produce. We are one of the few best supplier of fresh farm produce, raw and processed foodstuff and agro commodities in Nigeria (a country of nearly 200 million people) and we shall soon move and extend our supply chain technology and outlets to other parts of Africa.
Those that feed the people are those that lead the people
