@ sauron
why did u post Appiah's picture here now. huh huh
I opened this thread and my 2 year old nephew has been crying since he saw the picture grin
Meanwhile wyhy would I be worried about the spuds.
They signed Modric,Dos santos,Pavetc, Got harry, yet they are battling relegation.

4 Play:
If Arsenal were to sign Arshavin, I would be delighted because it will represent a monumental waste of money.

If you're looking for a quality young midfielder, you have the likes of Gourcuff,Diego and Hamsik.
Bet, if we were on the verge of landing any of the highlighted, it would have been another story.
Like , why do we want to splash on all these unproven players.huh huh huh
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only by HNIC(m): 7:39am On Jan 15, 2009
Getting Arshavin is a must.
I think it's only a matter of time before he becomes a Gunner.
Just like the agent said, Zenith is trying as much as possible to jack up the price.
I am sure Arsenal ain't loving all this publicity, but I guess in this one, we have to live with it.

You will soon get used to it. grin

@ Cris,
You win
Are you satisfiedhuh grin grin
I dont know why you guys even bother to watch Arsenal's matches.
Arsenal is this.Arsenal is that.
Vidic will mentor Toure.
Rafael would become better than him
Arsenal should be disbanded
We are celebrating crumbs.
We are rubbish,
Reh Reh, Reh
Sauron even sprang from nowhere and declared Wenger a failure in his chosen profession huh huh huh
A scummie will always be one.
Arguing and ranting in a scummie way!!!!! grin grin
Ok, this night, for arguement's sake.
Arsenal is rubbish, played rubbish and really should have lost to Bolton.
Also, Toure is finished, he was a poor captain, did nada for 90 minutes,
Only a dumb manager like Wenger(who is a failure in his chosen field) could have failed to haul him off at half time.
If Wenger hopes to ever win anything again, he should bring back the players we've all known.
Vieira, Ljungberg,Henry,Reyes and Bentley should be drafted in
Are you freaking scummies satisfiedhuh?
Scummie logic should only stay with this generation of fans.
It shouldn't be passed on tongue

If the poor manner in which your team played today is okay by you, have a ball then by all means. Can't say I blame you, after all wins like this are almost a rarity at your club grin The mighty now accept scraps. If you're glad you won but not happy with the way they played, that's different. But glad you won AND happy with the play? Man, your case is bad grin

Results matter most, but a team cannot always run on luck. If you don't play with class, tendency is much higher for losses and draws than wins. And you're right, with the performance United put up on Wednesday a stronger team could have put in 6 - 0. Same goes for yours today.

And if that performance by Kolo is getting you all worked up, then boy am I glad he's not a Manc grin Kolo would gladly have Vida and Rafael as mentors grin
Two words
Typical scummie
Rafael that was being turned upside down by both Downing and an unknown Derby player.
Rafael my a%£
I really don't understand you haterz.
Stats said we had more shots at goal, more corner kicks, more throw ins, more free-kicks and ultimately we won 1-0.
Yet we played crap, because maybe we should have won 7-0.Eh  tongue
Try  playing a team that parks the bus in front of goal and see how easy it is in modern football!
In the last 20 minutes, esp when Vela came in,Arsenal stepped up the game, to which I saw your comment on this grin
Our downside has always been playing pretty football, passing and passing and yet nothing comes out of it.
Today we have won 1-0 and Yes, it was an 'ugly' win which has given us 3 more points,
I really don't know what you guys want.
If Arsenal wins, its wahala,
If they draw, we won't rest
If they lose, the whole world comes down
Na wa ooh

I hope diaby steps up or leave. Bendtner, eboue and denilson have their moments of madness but they always come through afterwards. Diaby is just lazy, lacks pace, has quick feet but no vision, no technique, cannot pick out a pass or see a run when in motion this holding up play. Just below par of arsenal standard. Which is why wenger has admitted he is going to buy a defesnive midfielder and a wide player. I hope he does.

The Defensive midfielder role is critical.
Diaby is just so inconsistent.
You described hin very well,
Quick feet, no vision, no technique etc
This is his chance to make a claim but he's determined to blow it

No, you are not getting it. Remove the Arsenal shades for a sec.  .  .are you honestly proud of the performance your team put up today? Was Kolo really all that all through this game?
He was just as fair as the rest, except for that run. That's not enough to justify him as ''back''.

Bolton are not shitty 'cause they lost to Arsenal.  .  .if you've seen some of their previous games you would get what I mean. And dude, did Bolton's play today impress you? Even if they had won, we would all still judge how well they played, and it was poor today. Put the euphoria aside for a bit and be honest with yourself.

If a stronger team had played Arsenal today y'all will very likely have lost, Kolo in back or not. A gunner even said earlier that this is the worst performance by you guys since whenever, which is true.
Am I proud of Arsenal's performance todayhuh
Yes I am
Damn! they won, which is all that matters.
We scored 4 goals against the spuds and drew. sad sad
I would rather this result than that grin
If a stronger team had played us, we would likely have losthuh?
That's an if? Isn't ithuh
Just like me saying if a stronger team had played manure on wednesday, they would have beaten them 6-0 grin
and really, Kolo's performance should be the best we have seen him since the African Cup of Nations in '08
Thats why I am delighted and the rest of the Gooners fraternity.
Unborn Gooners in their mother's womb all love Kolo and many were upset that he handed in a transfer request.
So, for him to put up arguably his best performance for a long time today(forget the team, I wouldn't have cared if it was Mushin XI) I am happy and ain't no manc, chav or whoever will spoil my fun. grin
1-0 to the Arsenal and guess who scored?
Nic nicked it for the Arsenal grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only by HNIC(m): 6:18pm On Jan 10, 2009
@toba
Which would you prefer?
a 0-0 or a 1-0huh
PLease, I will rather 91st minute goals, to 0-0.
I think they call it winning ugly.
Winning when you are not playing well grin grin

More like he's been boring at the back. If Bolton wasn't such a shitty team with an equally shitty attack, Kolo woulda been easily outwitted today.

And where was Arsenal's attack? I didn't see any, just misplaced excessive passes and weak, almost non-existent attempts at goal. One brilliant run by Kolo doesn't make him totally restored to his erstwhile constantly skilled form.
But y'all will think that as usual 'cause he contributed immensely to the 3 points.

Is 'sharrap' what Muki's teaching you guys now? grin
You still dont get it,
Bet you haven't seen Kolo very much this season.
He hasn't been running, been always outta position.
But today, he's played well at the back and ran himself ragged.
That  brilliant run capped a good performance
Now Bolton is a shitty team becos they lost to Arsenal  huh huh
Wonder what you would have said if Taylor had scored and they ran away with a lone goal victory tongue
and i assume you are not aware that Megson was Barclays manager of the month in November
A shitty team, yet it took a blind ref's faulty decision to award manure a penalty to beat them.
Abeg, leave Arsenal alone.
We love king kolo and we all pray he keeps puting up this kind of performance.
Long live KIng Kolo

One skilled run in all of 85 minutes says he is ''back''? I would call it 'temporarily active' grin King Kolo is temporarily active.
Sharrap there Cris,
he's been terrific at the back today and have supported the attack well
The run is what we Arsenal fans loved him for and he did just that,
