Our run of three silly draws have come to an end. Not a pretty performance, but we'll be glad the 3 bloody points are in the bag. Thumbs up to Captain(oops)former captain Gallas for throwing himself in for that goal. Must be that RVP has got a knock,or else how come he didn't see action in the 2nd half Prince Nasri ??Hope we dont overwork this lad in Fab4's absence. He was everywhere, from CM to left wing to right wing to support striker!!!! Mr. Pink Boots ?please AW, let's loan him to Birmingham once more ![]() and Distin ![]() I was glad when we were linked to him yesterday. Pull out the chq and let's get him, even if he could be on loan till end of season. That's a decent defender. It's Plymouth next in the FA cup. |
mukina2:Hey Muki, Merry xmas to you also. |
dayokanu:Then go and be his Doctor and Nurse at the same time, so he can be fit to play at the Emirates ![]() ndumart:The truth is that your best players are your best players. Can Manure come up with a replacement for Ronaldo, if he's injured for 5 months ![]() or If Agbonlahor or Young were to be injured for long, what happens to Villa? You suffer a lot, when your big players are out for long.Bottomline! |
Singing Black Twang's "Rotten" Why is it so rotten my people have you forgotten that it is so rotten What has Arsenal done to deserve this kind off ill-luck?
Really, the last time we didn't have an injury plagued season must have been 2004/2005 season. I remember the 05/06 season when both Cashley and Clichy were injured for long and about 7 players had to play left back for Arsenal. The ill luck is just unexplainable. It's difficult to compete with your best players out.(I remember the Mourinho jibe about first class eggs ).AW must be racking his brain now and I hope he comes up with a quick solution or else, it doesn't look too good at the moment. Meanwhile, Merry Xmas to all gooners and of course to the mancs, chavs, and the entire sports fraternity on NL. |
tollu:let's just say that YOUR STATEMENT HAS JUST BEEN IGNORED. Meanwhile, immediately I saw Fab4 in tears on sunday, I knew it might be long term. Really feel sorry for the lad. This injury jinx continues to be in Arsenal's camp. We never really have our first 11 fit for a period of time. Anyway on the brighter side, AW has said that he is more likely to buy because of this unexpected injury http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/wenger-i-am-more-likely-to-buy-in-january. We wait and see who and who will come in, |
Specialist900:There's nothing official yet on Fab 4's injury. Today would give a clearer picture |
Thank God for that eagle eyed Linesman. It would have been 3 points dropped for Chelsea |
what happenned ?? Thought Piennar scored that!!!! |
Ballack cops another yellow. I told you, it's another referee show today ![]() |
presido1:Are u Sauron's mouthpiece or 'boy boy'? Why not allow him to answer ![]() And u make me laugh with 'Must you bring manure into everything'?? See how many times Arsenal is mentioned on the manure thread. Last week, Manure was playing the spuds and it was still 'Arsenal this, Arsenal that' Free me, abeg!!!! |
It was a blatant RED. . . . . . . .I don't even know why the REF hesitated. . . . . Is it because JT is England's captain?? He should be banned for 5 games. That tackle coulda ended the career of Osman. ![]() Come on EVERTON, make ma day!!!!!! DROGBA is warming up!!!!
@ Sharon How about Vidic's retaliation in the World Club match Was it a straight red? Me thinks he should be banned for 5 european games!!!!! He could have broken the guy's jaw!!! ![]() |
Now Cashley has a yellow also after Lampard's also. Chelsea had better cool down. The ref 'means' them today, just like Howard idiot had a score to settle with Ade yesterday |
Incredible. This is history in the making Cahill fouls two Chavs at the same time. |
JT's off!!!! |
Mikel's been watching Jayjay's videos lately with the twisting and turning ![]() |
OMG I have seen crunchy tackles so far and the ref hasn't shown any card, he's allowed the game to flow. In fact Mikel replicated Ade's tackle earlier in the game and the ref's just blown for a free kick. Howard whatever is a buffoon |
It's a long time, I have seen the red and white army take the game by the scruff of the neck when it seemed as if we were down and finally out. First it was Cesc's injury.(I thought it was all over when he limped off at half time) and then a stupid sending off of ADE(Some refs are just idiots). We are now paper thin, especially for the next game. Cesc,Ade,Walcott, Dudu,Ros,Toure,Pink boots won't be available. The Villa game is a must win and I know we can win it. It just depends on how much we want it. Still on yesterday's game, I was proud of the Emirates crowd. Their constant booing of Arbeloa and the remaining scousers really fuelled the 10 men of Arsenal. Kudos to them. 5th at christmas. Not what we expected when the season started in August. January is around the corner. Additions are necessary. Why can't we have a few players coming to North London, on loan? |
@ Cris We write off Roma and we'll be in deep soup. Ask the Chavs ![]() But wit the way this season is going and the injuries ravaging our team,I 'll rather Roma out of the trio of italian teams left |
Emperoh:and its the scummies that write them!!!! ![]() |
Tricky draw Though, I will rather Roma than Juve or Inter. It's actually England vs Italy with the exception of the Scousers. Raineri returns to West London. Mour returns to England and Spalleti takes a trip to England again(hoping it will be an unhappy one ).Can't wait for February to arrive |
dayokanu:Why does this stuff happen? |
Jascobee:Dude, me, die, to listen to Jamie Redknapp views ?(A scouser to the bone)You must be kidding. Abeg leave HITV analysts. They do not claim to be the best, but they are giving us their best. The two Dejis are good. Very unbiased analysis. |
Eastbay:I can't agree with you any less. You won't even know from their analysis that Omotoyinbo is a Manure fan!!! I think they are the best in the country! |
It's now Eduardo vs Berba, not Eduardo vs Torres. Soon it just might be Eduardo vs Van Basten ![]() Meanwhile, some interesting news about Arsenal's shareholding structure. Lady Nina has left the club. With her shares available, a takeover seems imminent. It will be interesting over the next couple of months http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/a/arsenal/7788895.stm |
Good luck to Sam Allardyce. . . . I just feel Paul Ince was used as a scapegoat. It's so painful the first BLACK manager in the PREM got sacked after 17 games.
@ Sauron I don't think Incey was the first black manager in the Prem, except you meant Black English. Jean Tigana managed Fulham previously. Good luck to Big Sam Expect more direct play from Blackeye rovers ![]() |
Eduardo returns from a horiffic injury which would have terminated his career. The Gooners are happy and celebrating and hoping for better things. What do the mancs do?(Typical) Come in, start a baseless arguement ![]() and take it to the extreme by comparing Dudu(who is yet to play a full season in a big league) with Torres, etc, ![]() Debo just brought out a statistic that showed that over 90 minutes(f@#K the opposition) Dudu was a deadly goalscorer Yet, it's been twisted all over the place, Whatever though! Welcome back DUDU!!!! |
Eduardo's return and the green boots ![]() http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/a/arsenal/7766883.stm |
debosky:Yep, well deserved. Eduardo finally made his comeback yesterday in the reserves. Heard he was involved for 45 minutes. Also, he now dons a fluorescent green pair of boots ![]() Hope those boots would bang in at least 15 goals in the latter part of the season. Welcome back DUDU |
The USA/Tunisia '94 team was unbelievable. We had the entire package. The 2000 team comes very close. Obviously why they aren't really remembered was that they lost that penalty shootout to Cameroun in the final. If they had won, we may have been viewing them differently. ![]() |
the Diaby and Denilson experiment on the wing is a failed one
@A-40More like a disaster ![]() I wonder what sense AW sees in playing both of them there ![]() |
allboyz:Why would you want Fab4 to go ![]() |
Cristalz:@ Cris, Villa was quoted in the summer saying he would love to be a gunner. He said our style suits him best. Hope that answered your question. However, AW may just not buy even if he was available. That's the worrying part |
