How true can this news item be? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1094523/EXCLUSIVE-Board-clear-Wenger-splash-January.html ![]() |
@ Debo, we are saying the same thing. I am not really blaming Diaby or Dennilson. In fact, I restrain myself from blaming any player played outta position, including Eboue. ![]() The gaffer should always be blamed for that. Anyway, the game is behind us now. Thank God there are no midweek games this week. Hoping we have most of our players back from injury for the busy christmas period. And finally, it will be a great delight for us fans to see Eduardo back in action for the reserves on Tuesday. If I could have t-shirts printed for that match, it would read: Shame to Taylor ![]() |
Ha, ha, ha ![]() No Vidic magic today |
When did Man Utd become Arsenal trying to walk the ball in the net.

Tevez has also turned to Van Persie looking for a pass in the 6-yard box.
Cristalz:Arsenal this, Arsenal that. Even when its Manure vs The Spuds ![]() |
Another 2 points dropped today and with Villa overtaking us and now in 4th place, Trust the Press to 'swarm' on Arsenal once again. AW is under intense pressure, but if u ask me, he's the one to blame for the pressure he's under. Arsenal must be the only top 4 club to start a match with 4 central midfielders. Just imagine, Diaby and Denilson who have never been fantastic whenever they have had the chance to play in central midfield when cesc isn't playing, being deployed to play from left midfield and right midfield ![]() Why don't we have 'natural'replacements when our wingers are injured ?For the game today, Both Dennilson and Diaby offered next to nothing on the wings. They were absolute rubbish going forward and neither tracked back to defend thereby puting Sagna and Clichy under undue pressure. Why not Vela, who played on the left side of midfield, majorly for Osasuna last season in Spain? Even young Wilshere may have done better. They have got 'natural' left foot. Unless of course, we look at the other side and maybe Dennilson and Diaby do very well in training sessions, and cross the ball with a lot of ease, etc ![]() |
@debosky Well said bro!! The problem is Arsene has not given an inkling that he is planning to change anything and thats the most disheartening part i mean all he needs to do is look at his title winning squads of the past and see the gulf in quality and class
I can't agree with you guys any less. Sitting down and watching the Arsenal vs Porto match was disgusting. This was supposed to be the second team for Goodness sake! I mean, guys fighting to break into the 1st team permanently.!!! ![]() No passion, No skill, No fight, Nothing. January has to come with some important signings and really at the end of the season, some players just have to go and continue their career elsewhere. They aren't just arsenal quality!!! I am really hoping the new CEO is up to something radical or else[sub][/sub]it doesn't look too good |
Have we had a shot on target or off target this 2nd half ![]() We've been really poor |
ayusman16:Really, what does top spot get you? Last season, we lost top spot to Sevilla. What happened? We beat Milan in the 2nd round and Sevilla was beaten by Ferner !!!! |
Porto's scored again |
@ Dayo All the 3 goals have been gifts from a very poor Lyon team. In fact, in the build up to the 1st goal they were 'backheeling' the ball in their 18 yard box. Let's be honest, Lyon is playing rubbish,Yeovil town would also have been 3-0 up against them ![]() |
Not a bad 1st half considering the personnel on display. The game can still be saved in the second half, though it will be tough. No natural width at all |
Rubbish!!!! All Diaby had to do was to jump up. Stupid goal to conceed |
Nice free kick by Dennilson |
Mikel attempts to dismember a human being yet again!!! ![]() |
Drogba to the rescue yet again!!! |
LFS looks set to take the next available flight back to Brazil ![]() |
Oh mine. What a goal!!!! |
Really, just like I said before, While Eboue ain't a favourite of mine, the spectator's conduct was disgraceful. I don't have great pleasure in saying this, but I haven't seen that sort of behaviour at the bridge or O.T. Ever seen the Kop boo their player ![]() Eboue is a decent right back and at best should be a good cover for Sagna But really, whenever he gets played out of position,I put the blame on AW for that. What should Eboue really do? Tell the gaffer that he won't be played out of position ?? ![]() I am not holding brief for Eboue But he was hard done yesterday by the Spectators.!!!! |
The mancs all crawl out after late Vidic goal. Hmmmmmnnnnnnn The god of soccer was at manchester tonight in red shirt and white shorts It all pointed to a 0-0 draw |
Sunderland is playing 5-4-1Diouf is their left back. . . . . We need em to get a corner or something and catch em on the break!!!! They have 9 players behind the ball all the time. Sunderland came here to get a DRAW!!!!
What did you expect ![]() |
Three points in the bag and a big relief. ![]() What's Cristalz saying about RVP and Ade ![]() RVP and Ade worked hard today, they were just unlucky in front of goal. Ade and Denilson both hit the bar. I think I need to take a swipe @ the spectators at the Emirates today. Fine,we are not doing very well this season, and at times, we are not playing the 'sexy' football, but please, get behind your team for the duration of the 90 minutes!!!!! and what was that Eboue booing ![]() While Eboue will not make first 15 among my favourtite arsenal players, I don't think it's right to boo the lad. I called up a friend who was at the game and who incidentally also booed Eboue and he said he and quite a number of fans felt sorry for him when he was subbed(Come on guys, he ain't no left winger). Eboue walked off almost in tears, he had to be ushered off. Room for improvement. Next up is Porto, mid -week |
Here comes Zaki, Toure, please kill him off |
Good save from Kirkland from Bacary's header |
What a miss from RVP? Great ball from Fab 4 |
@invisible, are u still on your knees praying? |
Now Nasri is off,Eboue's on. Palacios, well done |
Why does this idiot want to break Nasri's legs ![]() |
Arsenal may lose again today
Keep praying!!!!!!!!!! |
Adebayor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One nil to the Arsenal |
Zaki's on the substitute bench. ![]() Kolo will be wishing he doesn't come on |
@Gooners, What's all this story coming out time and time again about Ronaldo and Arsenal? ![]() http://www.football365.com/story/0,17033,8652_4595533,00.html http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,16368,1778_4592254,00.html Both sides should move on. Time and time again, players have almost signed for clubs. I even read somewhere this morning that Blackburn almost signed Zidane in 1995 ![]() On a brighter note, the chance meeting AW had with TH14 on a plane resulted in him(Henry) swapping Turin for North London and the rest as they say is history. Both parties benifited immensely. |
I have learnt to be pessimistic of late when it comes to our arsenal of late because it's the only time they perform. Its saddening indeed. My fears tommorow are heightened because of the victory the young 'uns recorded against this very team as one of our new virtue is complacency.I hope we win and there's where it ends.
Same attitude here. Hope RVP's new found form continues, at least for some time. ![]() |
