I'm sure you remember a certain TH14. . .he left you and bang, CL title. How long did it take him? And when he left y'all gave different versions and reasons why he left. But we all know why. Champions League.
CR7 has only spent 1 season with RM (never mind his personal collection of titles) so nothing to talk about there.
Fab4 spent 7 years with you with nothing to show for it. What other reason can it be aside the desire to WIN? undecided
As per the highlighted.
Have you forgotten that Fab has said times without number that he would one day return to his club?
Even if Arsenal had remained unbeaten for the last 5 seasons and had won everything, he would still return.
Y'all are rejoicing because Fab4 is leaving Arsenal, you don't know if it's the turning point for the Arsenal.
I read a blog earlier today juxtaposing Arsenal's situation with Juventus in 2001when Zidane was sold to Madrid and they got 3 players in,Neved, Thuram, can't remember the 3rs, they went on to win the serie A title twice and played Milan in CL finals in 03.
Will miss Fab4, but if we will make millions and USE it wisely, please go ahead.

I think his position is understandable.

In SEVEN years at Arsenal he has won TWO trophies. Barcelona have won SEVEN trophies in TWO years.

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/2978155/Why-Cesc-Fabregas-has-quit-Arsenal.html
Is there any guarantee that he would continue winning trophies?
A certain CRon7 went to Madrid and won nought this season.
Fab4 has always said he would return to Barca one day.
It was only when
I am sure it's not all about trophies for him.
Sun is the official manc tabloid, said it so many times grin

Hmmmn.
Dude has 4 years left on his contract and wants to leave.
It's our decision to sell.
Set the price at 60m.
Or 40m + Yaya
Let the bidding start.
Like Dr Kit said, get Arteta or Gourcuff or  I am with Sauron on Nasri filling the role, with Yaya and Song protecting the defence.
Remember we went on for like 20 matches without losing when Cesc was injured in 08/09.
We always knew Cesc would return to Barca one day, it was only a matter of When?
Not that I am wishing he goes,but . . . . . . it will be sooner or later.

Maybe you didn't understand my stance! I used the Bridge issue to point out why such stuff is bad! Can you imagine if both where still team-mates at Chelsea? Maybe we woulda needed to call a coroner. I can imagine if it happened in an NBA setting where because of a card game a ball player brought 4 guns to the locker room to play a prank on his team mates. These squabbles do more harm than good and you can never claim to have team spirit when 5 to 6 players are fighting! That is bad man management by Wenger and we wont get far with that especially with increased competition levels these days
@A40
Where I agree with you is Wenger's penchant for signing known
hot headed players.
Check out the list.
~William Gallas
~Jens Lehmann
~Robin Van Persie
~Emmanuel Adebayor
~Nicklas Bendtner
~Samir Nasri

Ki lo de?
All in one team?

But I tell you, there are squabbles in EVERY team
11 players can't all think alike.
AW tried to quell the one in his team by getting rid of Ade and Toure.
He may do more this summer.
But really Arsenal players need to shut up.
Stupid interviews and comments upsets everyone especially when it coulda been avoided.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only by HNIC(m): 10:29pm On May 16, 2010
@Dr Kit
There are home truths in everything. It just depends on which perspective it's viewed from.
Keano told hometruuths in his book,
Makalele also told hometruths in his book.
Squabbles will always occur in a team of 11 players with different backgrounds.
It all depends on when the public gets to hear them.
I have opined earlier that Arsenal players grant too many interviews and maybe talk too much.(I get irritated when players that should know better, talk nonsense)
You also tend to hear a lotta this stories when Arsenal players depart as they must give reasons why they have left the club(Watch Billy spill more stories after he leaves wink)
The trophylessness situation also make these stories interesting stuff to ponder on
Afterall, when Arsenal were sucessful, there were publicised squabbles in the team.
Come to think of it,Romario and Bebeto were sworn enemies and played as strike partners in USA 1994 and won the world cup! lipsrsealed

presido1:
Always, i have never seen you beleive the press when it comes to arsenal but other clubs you concur 100%. Typical gayner
Typical Scummie.
I am sure English isn't the problem.
It's just that the mindset is just there to attack what was said AND NEVER read and interprete what a post meant.
Where did I write that I didnt believe what was said by Nasrihuh
Please point it out or hold your Peace!
presido1:
Ofcuz all of them can't be friends but not talking to each is taking the enemity to another level. Or did you miss that part of the article? Typical Gayner.
We have all seen the result of working hard with grudges in the past yrs. Again Typical gayner.
You forget the old adage "United will stand and divided will fall"
I see!
Kitkat said some time ago that he doesn't like VDS and that VDS doesn't wish him well. They were Not friends and were still talking to each other ,abi?
From Tev's mini war with Neville, we can assume they got on well when they played together at Manure?
Keano made some comments criticising his own players. The players he criticised liked it and called him up to thank him and had lunch together that weekend?
Really, you are the typical scummie, not ready to accept some home truth.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only by HNIC(m): 12:32am On May 16, 2010
@Dr Kit and A-40,
I think you are making a big deal about these stuff coming out of the Press.
11 players can't play for the same team and all be friends.
Nasri said while they weren't friends in real life, they fought for each other on the field.
I really don't care if they hosted each other to lavish parties in their ordinary lives, as long as football was being played on the pitch and the team all worked hard for each other.
It's the same in the workplace also, you don't have to be friends with everyone around you, as long as you are all working together as a team, everything is fine.
I am sure, you don't think the invincibles were all friends also.(Vieira and Lauren resorted to blows once upon a time)
We've heard of squabbles amongst players in Chelsea,Manure and Liverpool also.
These things exist.
The Press, as usual capitalising on the fact that Players aren't too smart these days and have big egos.
Damn,
Like Lehmann said, it's ridiculous when you see 24-25 year old footballers writing autobiographies!
It's the Prima donna lives today's footballer's live.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only by HNIC(m): 10:50pm On May 04, 2010
We were bullied in the match and lacked any fight.
The last 10-15 minutes were a disgrace.
Arsenal wwere losing 1-2 and all we kept doing was passing the ball from one defender to another shocked shocked
Too shameful
The defenders+Fabianski should all be held responsible for the 2nd goal
My God, how much I missed Jens Lehman when I saw Samba,Roberts and co bullying the goalie.
Jens would have slapped the taste outta some mouths or elbowed one of them right where it will hurt most.
Its hard to believe some of these players play in the same team with fabregas,TV5,RVP and co who all hate to lose a game.
Too bad.
Ain't no shame in losing, but please fight till the end.
