dayokanu:
Sagna- I can mention 8 RB better than Sagna.
Mention them!
dayokanu:
Vermalaen- The Belgian Center Back is only highly regarded at the Emirates
Yet, He's considered by Fleet Street as the best signing of the season!!!
dayokanu:
Gallas- This guy was shown the door by Mourinho when he was at his peak
Shown the doorhuh
You must be joking!
Billy was frustrated and the club had to relesase that rubbish that he threatened to score an own goal if not allowed to leave.
Drogba described Billy has the best defender in the world after he left!
dayokanu:
Van Persie- Overrated piece of shi.t hasnt made 15goals in a season as a striker with almost 10years in the game.
Lies yet again.
Even in an injury plagued season(08/09), RVP scored 20 goals in all competitions and even this season, he has 7 league goals(he's been out since early November),
how many players in the league that have scored more than that!. . . . . .
dayokanu:
Arshavin- This guy might have the talent but saying he would walk into any team is pushing it too far. I can easily name 10 attacking midfielders better than him. CR7, Messi, Robben, Ribery, Kaka, Gerrard, Iniesta, Lampard, Ronaldinho without thinking too hard
You are a clown!
Lamps, Gerrard,Ronaldinho,Ribery,Robben. . .  grin  grin grin

Dr Kitaun:
HNIC,

I dont know what fickleness is to u, but u were the same one that always liked pasting ADE pix here and praised him to the high heavens, immediately he had issues like all other fans u jumped on him and I wondered how easy it is to hate your ex-player shocked I can hardly remember where I as much as dissed any of our ex-players, maybe Cashley Cow, BUT WAIT FOR IT : I HAVE READ HIS DEFENCE . . .and I feel guy made a lot of sense in saying that majority of the Arsenal youngsters dont have the comabative spirit to win in them, they are just contented playing for the Arsenal and going back to their playstation joysticks cry
@Dr Kit
grin grin
I don't hate ADE.
Never will
Check out the Man city thread
I STILL POST Ade's pictures up till today!
The only thing is he overstepped his boundary with his comments.
His PR person didn't do him any good.
Truth is that most of us here don't HATE the players that leave us.
It's the media that writes all sorts, twist all sorts and people jump on that bandwagon.
I opined here earlier that I am surprised that ,
with Clubs like Pompey,Cryatal palace etc going down,
analysts are now praising Arsene Wenger for being conservative and not spending crazy money on players! shocked shocked shocked
It's no surprise why the talk of trophyless seasons is switching to having a business model that will guarantee long term survival of a football team!
Vermaelen scored a deflected goal at the Emirates but he was given the goal.
All the goals you scored against Everton at the Emirates were also deflected goals but the shot takers were given the goals.

With us, it's a different rule.
Carrick struck a magnificent beauty against Pompey but it was given as an own goal.
Nani chipped Almunia beautifully and the ball was destined to land in the back of the net but it was given as Almunia's own goal.

It's a different world with United players.

P.S. Giggsy out for 4 weeks with a fractured arm. . . . . .Nani's suspended for 3 domestic games for serious foul play.
Come on sauron
We know the difference between own goals and deflected goals.
all the arsenal goals mentioned were going in anyway, unlike Abou diaby's gift of a goal shocked shocked shocked
Almunia diverted nani's speculative cross
How about that Pompey defender, what's that his name with the delightful volley grin
What of yesterday, a harmless cross from Giggs and who was there to connect?

They are tricky, but they are all 'winnable'
I think we have a mental block while playing Manure and the Chavs.
We lacked discipline in those games was why we lost.

debosky:
In my estimation we needed 6-8 points out of the 12 to have a realistic chance at the title. We got 4.

As a result, I think it will still be a stretch too far for us to win the league, but the team should still go for it 100% - you never know what will happen.

We have to do what we did yesterday game in game out - 100% commitment. Arshavin tracking back to tackle Carra in our own box. Gallas and Vermaelen refusing to get their wires crossed and allowing Gallas to make a world class tackle. Almunia showing his shot stopping abilities again. Players willing to foul and take cards where necessary to stop counter attacks. Varying our game a bit and getting players into the box that can cause an aerial threat.

Of course it's going to be a battle from now on, but we can only do our best and hope others slip up.
@Debosky
my thoughts exactly
All round team performance and DISCIPLINE yesterday.
No unnecesary forays into the opponents box, attackers coming back to defend,Nic closing down 'Pool defenders,No passing the ball away from defence etc.
Really, i have not given up on the title.
Every match is 'winnable' for us.
And we've seen Manure and Chavs drop points already and we are still in February! shocked
AW should do less talking, work hard with his boys and who knowshuh
INVICIBLES ma backside.
Great teams dominate over a period of time not in one season of flukey games and biased referees.
Mourinho's team dominated from 2004 till 2007. The current United team have dominated the league since 2007 till date.
The Invincibles did Bleep all with their dominance. They only won a league title and they were raped in the FA cup(Man Utd), Carling Cup(Middlesboro) and in the UCL(Chelsea).

It was the MEDIA.
WHY?
They did what no other team has ever DONE in the modern era
