I couldnt watch the match, it has been said more often than not ''dont tinker with a winning team'' but Pep knows best, it would have been nice to continue the winning streak but we have to admit that this is soccer and impossible is nothing, better he makes this mistake now than at crucial matches. This will give us a take away thoughts that we dont have to relent, we are fabulously playing well, but that does not mean that ever line up will post victory.

The team has adjusted to the 3-pronged attack line of effective Pedro, Messi & Villa, starting this 3 is result-oriented and any change may not likely yield immediate results.

Be that as it may Athletic Club will need to find something different for the second leg, because just stopping us from scoring won’t be enough. A score draw of any type would be enough to see us go through, so Barca have plenty in the favour for the return.

The positive part though is I was happy to see Pinto get a run-out. Masch was really impressive - the guy is soo mobile! I'll like to see him play far more often cos IMO he's better than Busquests.

I still bet my 2 cents on Busquests,you can always expect a good, intelligent and decent pass/tackle from him, Masch has a patent of throwing dangerous high flying tackles and a yellow card on him in d 1st half of any encounter will obviously dull his performance and referees have this harsh attitude towards perceived crunch tacklers, he is good though.
