see plenty boring people lol , chei, nairaland u no try ooo, people kept disturbing my yim as if na me crash nl or own it.

come see hold up, traffic, chei, you'd think a terrible accident happened in that area, every car wants to drive through the bridge thereby causing heavy traffic, i overheard a police officer talking on his walkie talkie saying the traffic's been for 3 hours (that was around after 9pm), some people might end up sleeping there oo

Pdp youth chairman what? The more you try to excuse yourself from the blame, the more you complicates matters for yourself, if the account is for pdp chairman, then it would have been on either pdp's name of the zonal quarter, the man's company's name (case of it being his own) or his own name which would have been easier to trace on google or pdp website to know if its truely the man's a pdp chairman.
Anyways the deed's been done, how much did it get from you if he really scammed you? Are u out here crying to get your money back or here because he scattered your fragile heart and you're trying to seek revenge and in the process insulting all Nigerian men?

(go and do research).

Yusuf Mohammed is hoping he can still somehow force his way into Lars lagerback's 23-man squad to the World Cup after seeing accelerated progress on his ruptured Achilles tendon injury.

Mohammed has resumed on-field training with biokineticist Jannie Klingbiel and a statement from the Centre for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics in South Africa where he was treated, say the young defender can return to full competitive football.

"The accelerated Achilles repair tendon protocol, which was designed by Barry Getz and Mark Ferguson at the Centre for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics, has proven to be instrumental in Yusuf's accelerated recovery.

"This expeditious recovery has ensured that Mohammed will return to the Nigerian Football team prior to the start of the FIFA World Cup 2010," the statement read.

That however, is down to Lagerback, who still has the difficult task of culling his 44-man squad to 23 within two weeks and may not be willing to take on the additional headache.

Yusuf was carried off after rupturing the tendon in Nigeria's semi-final defeat to Ghana at the African Nations Cup in Angola last January, and was initially reported to have no chance of making the World Cup team.

The injury is similar to that which has ruled England midfield superstar David Beckham out of the World Cup, but Dr Getz is confident that Yusuf's case has been hastened by the new procedure.

OWUMI IS NEW NPL CHAIRMAN
Owumi is new NPL chairman

Former League top scorer Davidson Owumi has been elected chairman of the Nigeria Premier League, replacing Oyuiki Obaseki.

Owumi, a key member of Obaseki's kitchen cabinet, was voted in on a landslide vote of 13-4 ahead of Bayelsa United chairman Victor Rumson Baribote.

Elections were also held earlier in the day for positions into the board, with former Vice Chairman Shehu Gusau retaining his position on the board.

The other positions went to Akin Akinbobola, Abdullahi Danbaba, Baribote, Adebayo Wopa and Joseph Wopa.

The members were sworn in immediately after the election, and will be inaugurated on Monday.

Nigeria Technical Adviser Lars Lagerback is due back in Abuja on Sunday and will name his 30-man squad on Monday after a meeting with the Technical Committee of the NFF.

According to NFF Chief Media Officer Ademola Olajire, the 30 players named in Monday evening’s press conference at the NFF Secretariat will be the group to be treated to the send forth being planned by the Nigeria Football Federation with President Goodluck Jonathan.

The send forth will take place at the Congress Hall of the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja on May 20.

The 30 players will also be the ones to travel to London for a pre-World Cup training camp, at the Five Lakes and Golf Country Club, Colchester Road, Tolleshunt Knights, Maidon, Essex from May 21, and play international friendlies against Saudi Arabia in Austria (May 25) and Colombia in London (May 30).

However, it is the group that makes the final cut of 23 that will prosecute the last friendly match, against North Korea in South Africa on June 4, eight days to Nigeria’ first match against Argentina at Johannesburg’s Ellis Park.
