I am an OSU IBO from Ebonyi . Our fellow red mudders often say we are not true gullibos because our head is not as flat as theirs . We are not angered by this because we know as OSU and second class ,we cannot compare ourselves with the true and unadulterated ibos from Anambra who are descendants of NRI and thus are the only authentic and alpha IBO's .
Our destiny is to lick the butt of the Nigerdeltans like leeches that we are so that we can steal their resources and sea for the first class IBO's in Anambra who are not Second class like us .
Our second destiny is to curse the Yorubas because they made our land barren and unproductive . They use juju to drag us to Yoruba land . They also use their juju to make the dynamites that we want to use to blow Niger bridge that connects us to them not to work .
We will not take it !!! The zoo must fall !!
Why are you a Yoruba claiming Ebonyi and writing this nonsense? Why do you people like to behave like this? Your type are the reason some people here think I'm Yoruba.
Is it not better you keep mute in a thread that is not for yoruba than fooling yourself?

Ask an Ikwerre man his anger with igbos and he will trace it to stories his father told him about what the igbos did to them during the war. The pathetic thing about it is that the stories are packs of lies piled up by the older generation and being passed on from one generation to the other thereby imprisoning them in hatred and backwardness.
While i was growing up and even till date, my father never ever told us anything about Ikwerre rather he always admonished us to make sure we excel in our various career, he encouraged us to keep improving our education up to PHD level. He made us to understand that life is full of challenges and we must always equip ourselves in order to sumount the challenges. This is the kind of discussion that an average igbo father wants to have with his children
It is rather shameful that while our fathers are urging us to excel in life, Ikwerre fathers were/are busy poisoning their children's heart with satanic lies about the igbos. What a shame. Little wonder Ikwerre youths are so lazy while cultism thrives amongst them. Cultists camps are scattered in various parts of the states and these foolish youths are killing themselves almost on daily basis. Sometimes one wonders whether these youths are under a generational curse.
I cant imagine myself wasting my precious time to tell my children negative things about Ikwerre or any tribe when i have more important info to give them so that they can excel in life.
Ikwerre is really a pathetic case.

Christianity EtcThe Freewill Question by honourhim(op): 6:33am On Jul 03, 2016
We christians have on several occassions flashed the freewill card to the atheists each time we argue with them.
The questions that comes to mind is - how free is our freewill?
Obviously there is no absolute freedom anywhere in the world. America with all their democratic structure does not have absolute freedom. Life would have been more chaotic and worse off if there was absolute freedom so it is even hypocritical for anyone here to blame God for not giving us absolute freedom.
From creation, God never gave man absolute freedom. The freedom given to us is freedom to choose from what is already existing and every choice has its benefits or consequences as the case may be.

chrisxxx:
To all Ibos on this forum.
Would you people accept being called Ikwerre people? We have no problem with you saying you are Ikwerre. However in a very strong term: The Ikwerres are not Ibos.
You people have always claimed that Ikwerre disassociated themselves after the civil war. You are correct! Even Nigeria as a country got liberated from the clutches of your overbearing dominance after the civil war. The appendages of your attempted colonization of Ikwerre people and at large the Niger Delta people still litter around. In our courts you were the magistrates, lawyers and everything. As an Ikwerre man you could be stoned and lynched for speaking your dialect in Port Harcourt City before the war my dad told me. We had no choice than the Hobson's choice of pretentious oneness. Come to the street of Port Harcourt and see streets named after our 'colonial masters' the Ibos. You could hardly find a street named after an Ikwerre man. Do you own Port Harcourt? You maligned us, subjugated us and the most demeaning was changing our community names. All Rumu to Umu, Nwo to Nwa and so on. We could take same revenge the Hausas took on you people if we had the wits for our brilliant sons and daughters you people killed prior and during the war.
It was no surprising the Ikwere people and Niger Deltans welcome with tumultuous joy the liberation and arrival of the Nigerian soldiers during the war.
Our language are similar to some extent and I will tell you the reasons. It is only the diluted Ikwerre languages of the Obio/Akpor LGA and Port Harcourt LGA that have some distant similarities due to inter-trading and inter-marriages. Emuoha LGA and Ikwerre LGA have a lot similarities with the old Bini Kingdom. These two LGA are closer to yours in terms of land border, incidentally their words sound Binin does it not ring bells to your ears that Ikwerre is not part of you?
Do you know that Ibo language was compulsorily taught and learnt in schools in present Rivers State before the war? Was it same practice in your region? This goes a lengthy way to prove that you cant teach a people their language. You only teach people a strange language. This is to prove we (Ikwerre) are not Ibo. We are not xenophobic, we welcome you people to the Ikwerre Ethnic nationality if you would want to claim our nationality.
Elechi Amadi may your humble and enlightened soul rest in peace. You only wrote, put in writing what our parents told us verbally for posterity and record purposes in your 'Sunset in Biafra'. Believe me as well the sun has perpetually set in Biafra.
It is quite a shame that while my father sat me down and told me to strive for excellence in my career, your own father sat you down and fed you with satanic lies that made you hate igbos. This is why Ikwerre people have remained lazy and useless over the years. Indeed, Ikwere people are a disgrace to humanity.
One of such lies is that igbos don't have igbo as one of their secondary school subject. Let it be known to you and your lying father that we do igbo in our secondary schools. I took igbo in my WAEC.
Ikwerre is too insignificant and useless for an average igbo father to waste his precious time telling his children about, when he has more important info that will help his child excel in life.
My father never ever discussed Ikwerre with us till date.
. The saying that an idle mind is the devil's workshop can be seen in the life an average Ikwerre father whose stock in trade is to sit idly at home and be feeding their children with satanic lies while their fellow men of other tribes are out their working tirelesly to succeed in life. SHAME ON IKWERRE. And of course such a lazy and useless set of people cannot be our brothers.
IKWERRE IS NOT OUR BROTHER.

There is no absolute freedom anywhere in the world. Even America that seems to enjoy freedom doesnt have absolute freedom. The freedom we have as humans is not absolute so don't be deceived.

In comparative analysis, its best to compare like terms. It is unfair to compare like for like, the Ikwerre and the Igbo. It is very proper to compare Igbo and Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa, Yoruba and Hausa because they are the big 3 and have been in competition since independence.
.
.

We ve always had our comparison with them severally here so forget about that. You can go thru the various threads where we ve argued with them. This particular thread is for Ikwerre so don't confuse issues.
The point i made here which you have also admitted is that you people are not in anyway near us for us to need you.
I also said that Ikwerre is too tiny to make a headway in Nigeria. That you must need to allign with a major ethnic group to survive and that igbos are the closest to do that. An average northerner does not know what is called Ikwerre, also the yoruba. Once a south south man is settled that's ok for your region. And of course the south south slot always goes to ijaw and Efik more than Ikwerre. I then gave an instance of how your elders ran to Zik and Ukiwe to beg for help which led to the creation of Bayelsa which saved you the domination of the ijaws.
The race for igbo presidency is still on and will come to pass so don't talk as if it has ended. We have a hussling spirit that makes us not tired of struggling to succeed so just be watching the battle. We are not lazy like Ikwerre.
. There was a time Hausa hijacked presidency for over 30 years and now its gradually breaking. We are still on course.
And as i said before, the fact that we ve not gotten the presidency yet has not denied us appointments and other poltical posts. It has not also made those who have produced presidents achieve more in life than us.
Forget about the marginalisation cry its part of the game. During OBJ's time the north cried marginalisation and even the east too . In Gej's time yoruba and Hausa cried even though GEJ favoured the north. Even now yoruba elders and igbos are crying marginalisation including South south. Don't be deceived, the cry is part of the game.
Buhari did not win because the Yorubas supported him but because the north was already uncomfortable with power residing in the south any further. They took advantange of the marginalisation of the Yorubas by GEJ to get their votes. If they had gotten a bloc vote from south east or south south they would have still won.
Your Ikwerre political leaders understand the political game that's why they are not with you in your Igbo hatred madness. Its only the poor wretched ones like you who don't understand the game that will come here making noise. A simple invitation by Chino sent you pooing in your pant is it political game that you will understand? No. shame.

In as much SE Igbos are spread across 5 states, they are expected to have more representation at the national level than Ikwerres, thats a no-brainer. Clearly, it is supposed to be a good thing but right now, it feels more of quantity than quality.

Remember, the crux of our argument is wether Ikwerres need Igbos for national relevance, i.e. can Ikwerre navigate Nigerian politics without the help of the Igbo. My answer is yes.

Now, i have to point out here that for a big tribe, the Igbos since this democratic dispensatiion have not been impressive. It is over 17yrs of democracy and they remain the 1 out of 3 that haven't even produced a VP yet. Your highest ranking political office since this dispensation has been the senate presidency, same as Ikwerre.grin .

If Igbos have been spectacular in Nigerian politics and Ikwerres have been irrelevant, i'd see reason and subtly canvas for closer "relationships", but obviously Igbos are struggling to be relevant, if Ekweremadu gets booted off, thats it for Igbos., they have nothing on the Hausa/fulani and Yorubas in political guile and masterclass. Or you think forming IPOB leads directly to Nigerian presidency??

Pls, your people are yet to sort themselves out, they should find their feet first before trying to carry xtra weight. As it is now, they can't give whay they dont have.

...Pls leave Rivers matter alone, all other ethnicities in Rivers combined cannot touch the Ikwerres, noy even with a long spoon.
Your submissions are flawed. In Gej's govt Yorubas were not relevant and that's why they team up with the north to kick Jonathan out so stop claiming what you dont know. In that same Jonathan's govt Igbos teamed up with the north and occupied the deputy of both houses of the NASS and SGF. In OBJ's time igbos produced the senate president and you are claiming that we ve not had relevance in last 17 years. Do you even understand what it means to have political relevance? You think its by producing president or VP? I asked you before and i'm asking you again :did Gej's presidency favour Bayelsans more than the igbos? Even in OBJ's time, Igbos formed the major part of his economic team namely :Ngozi, Oby, Soludo etc..

Young man you dont even understand what relevance means. You are here telling me about a dilapidated Mbata and even trying to bring in Yoruba and Hausa into the argument. Leave them and face igbo. The argument here is between igbo and your useless Ikwerre. Its not even about Rivers state because we dont have problem with Okrika, Kalabari and the rest of them.
PoliticsRe: Niger Deltans And The Shameless Claim By Some Igbos Here. by honourhim(op): 11:45pm On Jun 30, 2016
HopeAtHand:
Since 1999, how well has the Igbos fared in national politics to warrant Ikwerres needing them for political survival in Nigeria. The Igbos have only produced Senate Presidents as their highest ranking office to which Ikwerres also produced in the person of John Azuta Mbata, albeit temporarily.

We have also produced deputy speaker in Austin Opara, Ahoada (our Akalaka brother) also produced Chibudom Nwuche if thats your noise.

Ijaws presently in Bayelsa only used deceit which was exposed after the 2006 census to hold onto power. If Bayelsa is included in Rivers of today, they cannot win because we now know the strength of the LGAs with Southern Ijaw of 150,000 people being the largest bayelsa voting LGA, compared to Obalga or Phalga.

And Wike (do not particularly like him) after his tenure should in the spirit of equity hand over to someone from the other 22nationalities of Rivers, not because we cannot produce governor again. We can because we can, and also because it is constitutional and legal. But we wont because it is immoral and does not show fairplay.
Now its obvious that you dont understand what it means to be a major player in the affairs of this country. You are here telling me about a dilapidated John Mbata, Austin Opara and Chibudom Nwuche. Since they left where are their replacements from Ikwerre?
Now you have to understand the difference between major stakeholders and a tiny Ikwerre.
For example, In every democratic dispensation the igbos produce not less than five governors. Ikwerre cannot produce a governor in every democratic dispensation because it rotates among the various zones.
In every democratic dispensation the igbos produce not less than five ministers. Ikwerre cant do that because Rivers state slot could swing to any of the tribes or zone. Same goes to Ambassadoral appointment. In the national assembly the slot for south east is occupied by igbos but the slot for south south can be occupied by ijaw or efik or any other tribe in your region. It must not be Ikwerre. Again, can you compare the number of senators and house of rep members that Ikwerre produce in every political dispensation to that of the igbos? .
On and on the list goes...
Now you have to understand that producing a President is not what makes a region progressive. Jonathan was President for about six years, how progressive are Bayelsans than us? I can tell you that igbos benefitted more than them during GEJ's regime. During OBJ administration, Igbos were also strategically there. Yaradua too. Have you asked yourself why? You think its by Ikwerre style of cultism and violence? It's about our intellectual capacity and large/significant political base which cannot be ignored.

I know you will soon tag me Yoruba for your info I am from Ikwerre married to Imo state woman and I love her but Igbos around my hood are something else but not to say that all are bad. Omerenlu, Elele, Isiokpo, Igwuruta ,Apani ,Ipo, Ozuoha,Omademe,Aluu these are towns and villages that make up Ikwerre local govt they will never be accepted to be Igbo. Benins and Yorubas have similarities but you will never see Yorubas claim Benin as their place. These four Ikwerre LGA namely Port Harcourt LGA,Obio Akpor LGA, Ikwerre LGA and Emohua LGA are not Igbo land u can claim Asaba.
..

Igbos have nothing to lose with Ikwerre hatred. Your hatred cannot stop our progress . It is you people that have many things to lose. . Let me educate you small on the reality on ground in this country..
1. Ikwerre is too small a tribe to make any headway in a big country like Nigeria where tribalism plays out in everything.
2. For Ikwerre to make a headway in this country they must attach themselves to any of the big ethnic group and the the only race that can consider helping them is the Igbo race.
3. This is so because you don't have enough representation in the high places that can pave way for your people to rise so u must have to allign with a major ethnic group.

4. Your Political leaders understand this game very well that's why people like Amechi and Wike cannot join you in your stupld show of hatred to the Igbos.

It is on record that Zik and Ebitu Ukiwe saved you people from the overwhelming domination of of the ijaws by fighting for the creation of Bayelsa state when your fathers ran to them for help.
Your hatred for the igbos is among your wretched ones who have no serious ambition to make a positive mark in this country. We dont care about your wretched and worthless hatred. We dont need Ikwerre to survive in Nigeria rather its you people that needs us..
By the time Wike's tenure ends, the governiship slot moves out of Ikwerre to another area till God-knows-when and Ikwerre would have no one to speak for them at that level then you will understand that the non Ikwerres here dont love you either. Meanwhile, Igbos will continually have not less than 5 governors as long as Nigeria exists.
If you have a good brain u you will understand what i mean by this example i ve given.
