Backsliding does not necessarily mean denying the existence of God. Backsliding can be used on a christian who goes back to his old sinful life or a zealous christian who gradually stops being zealous in the things of God etc. Peter denied Jesus, thats backsliding, but he didnt go atheist. To lose faith in God is for people like you who left God to join atheism.

Now i ask you, why do people leave atheism to become christians again if atheism is the real thing? Does atheism lack real answers or what? I have quite a good number of them who are now wonderful and zealous christians. Even here in nairaland we have a good example too by name- Banom.

There's nothing strange in his questions, nothing there that does not have answers. He addressed his letter to God and he should go through the process of getting answers from God.

Exactly what you are seeing. Must all the topics here be for argument and bashing one another?

Here I don't mean atheists whose points are powerful to convince me to leave God. I ve seen reasons that atheists present in trying to back up their no-God claim and none of them is more powerful than the conviction I have about God, heaven and lake of fire.

I don't also mean atheists that I agree with. As far as I'm concerned, we are two parallel lines that cannot meet in the issue of God's existence. The only meeting point is if the person repents and accepts Jesus.
I am only talking about atheists who you can discuss with and the atmosphere will be of very minimal abuses and insults. Though they disagree with you they will make their submissions in a very decent manner.

Don't mind them. They are just living in self deceit. He wrote a letter to God and wants somebody to help him out in getting God to answer. The same bible he quoted contains how he can reach God and get the answers but because of his self deceit life, he already knew he didn't have a sincere motive in writing the letter.

Yes and you know that thats one of the issues we have with them because they dont want to agree with us that Jesus is the son of God and that he died and resurrected. Never in this world have they claimed that they didnt mean our own Jesus in their koran rather they are even seeing their koran account of Jesus as a correction to the bible account. Except you dont want to be honest here bro. Kindly read a little about the koran and you will see that what they did was to modify the bible.

God has never been an issue between us and the muslims. It is the true worship of God, the principles of God etc that have been the issue.
