Hello everyone, pls I need help, I am a PGDE student of Noun. At my Center, they registered GST 103 ' computer fundamentals and GsT 707 'The good study guide' among the 8 courses for 1st semester. I can't find textbook for these courses, also Tma came out for these two GST courses but the question s are not showing.
Pls what do I do because I heard these gst courses have been changed.

Why You Should Not Buy Umidigi Devices
First of all the name alone sounds like an Alien race from a whole different galaxy, imagine telling someone you make use of Umidigi.
Their phones look cheap, like they were made of Nigerian plastic (the worst kind). They look impressive only on paper and on videos.
Their specs are mostly fictional and even if they were not, they're too cheap to be considered worthy. Not to mention their high afinity for Mediatek processors (that name alone disgust me). Although they appear sleeker than the other phones been sold here in Nigeria, I doubt they are any good probably even worse than what we have here.
Those huge battery capacities won't even last a second, so don't even dare consider them cause their laggy software and bad optimization will render it useless just like Tecno's L9 and their rubbish they sell to ignorant Nigerians.
At the mention of such devices, you will sound poor to the next guy. We all know China and their "affordable" phones, a Huawei, ZTE, ONe Plus, iPhone and Samsung stands a better chance compared to Umidigi and Xiaomi. it's better you get a small device like the Nokia torchlight and save for a better and expensive looking device (premium).
Stop buying cheap devices, its better you get an old flagship and enjoy premium qualities than get a new device like Umidigi, Oukitel, Bluboo etc

Tec what God forbid bad thing, I was once like you until few years ago when my eyes opened. All of my tecno devices visited the "health care centres" with little or no solution to the ilness. The wireless update affected the uni one ringtone. Before the update I could change and trim rinngtone. My babe is yet to download the update and can change ringtone conveniently. I guess there will be another update to correct the issue .

go to navigation. I will see the option there. Gesture is what I have using and it responds well. Download listenit to change the ringtone.

I used listen it. Yes, gesture control is working well on mine. Perhaps u do all the wireless updates for maximum output.

My observations after 24hrs
Unboxing: the box contains the device, charger with usb c cable, sim ejector pin,a nice looking case and literature.
Note: there is no screen guard included either in the box or installed.

Design: the phone is sleek, cool to touch, very eye catching and gets you the attention you want (someone at the place I went to get a screen guard thought it was a Huawei phone cos of the colour). It also feels heavy in a very comfortable way as the weight is evenly distributed. The build quality feels solid.

Performance: I haven't really thrown anything major at it but it got fairly hot when I was setting up the device. It also got hot when charging. The display is also ok, not super but ok. The network reception is good and Glo 4G has been balling ever since I popped the SIM into the phone.

Camera: the camera on this thing is cool.

Battery: I might not be able to say much about it for now as I have only had it for 24hrs, but going by what I have seen so far, the battery is good.

Issues:
1.the heating whilst charging means it wouldn't be a good idea charging and using the device at the same time.
2. I haven't been able to change the default ringtone to something else (I wonder why).

My verdict, at less than 40k, this phone is a steal!

Try picking a song from ur music player app and set it as ringtone.

I woke up around 8 am, turn on my laptop and watched a movie right on my bed till 11 am...if not that I was flat on cash I shouldn't have even gone out, so I after the movie I got my paranoid ass up to withdraw some cash got some food stuffs and back home..(you need to see the way I was hurrying to back home) came back cooked, freshen up and slept...

Upon all these , on the background , are several text messages, WhatsApp mesages and calls and of which some which I didn't attend to...


After a long sleep from 4pm to 7pm , i freshened up, turned on the tv, I am currently sipping on some fine red wine and blasting my Sound system with a particular song i heard on MTV which i fathom feats perfectly for this mood......

Now I feel so relieved typing this, like I have let a burden out of me and also recognize I am not alone in this..And like the chorus of the music playing on background playing, I will live my life!

Now, the whole summary of my post is, I'm not fun-seeking. I'm too rigid. I'm never elated at any celebration. I don't go to see movies. I hate eateries. The mall scares me. I tell off the few friends I have, but they understand my madness and they keep returning. I hardly get moved if someone is even dying. I always find faults in everything.

Am I mentally deranged or totally normal?
Am I a sadist? Why am I so unemotional? Right now, my mind is filled with strife. I truly agree now and think that I need mental help. I think I'm a psycho.

Lol, the last part got me laughing. You're completely normal ma. We have same personality, you capture how I feel too. Nothing interests me, presently, I far away from family and friends, in a secluded place enjoying the internet, books and my pot of soup. This is what I do almost on every Christmas and new year period. I'm freaking happy within me.

Oh good. You know some of these Banks don't reply emails on time, cc lines don't go thru atimes. Most customers don't have the patience to continue trying the same avenue hence the rantings and calling out on social media for quick solutions to problems.

Ok umifamily, here's my 3 day review on Umidigi One
- Definitely the best-looking phone I've ever used. People keep asking where I got such a colourful iPhone (I'm using the twilight version).
- The speed is so good. The fingerprint sensor and FaceID responds so quickly.
- The camera is pretty good in my opinion but I'm not a selfie person. To those complaining about front-facing flash, I made a WhatsApp video call to a friend in the UK last night and even in my low-light bedroom the video was very sharp and clear.
- For battery, I think its good. I charge only once a day and I'm a heavy user. It doesn't have fast charge but thankfully light is pretty good in where I live.
I'm just wondering how Umidigi managed to make such a good phone for such a modest amount.

Confirmed! Rocking that phone without back cover is a risk i am takng till everyone has got a feel

how does face unlock works on this phone which one is better finger print or face? could remember when using homtom gets too hot on the finger print sensor and could burn your hand when pressing and charging ...I don't press and charge but sometimes you need to reply some important message and could burn your ear when receiving call when you just unplug from socket

The face unlock on Umi. One works flawlessly. The fingerprint sensor works fine too no *hotting*

I last charged my Umi one three days ago. Just charging it since Tuesday morning.
