Sulaymanmeek:
Alright, before we talk about how many Gigga-bytes we can put into a smartphone, let’s make sure everybody knows what that is – and how it fits in with other components.... ***Google RAM wink

The more RAM a system has – whether that’s a PC for video editing, Programming or a smartphone; Gaming and Apps – has been proven to speed up performance. In practical application, this means more apps, and more complicated apps can reside in memory at the same time. When things reside in memory (rather than storage) they load faster, look better, and can do all sorts of whitchcraft-bang stuff.

Today’s smartphones usually sport between 1GB and 3GB RAM – with two being the “sweet spot” where performance meets value. Flagships, like Tecno Phantom 6plus Surprised you, me and the world with Super Fast core and of course 4GB RAM – cramming four whopping gigs of RAM inside. Does it help, compared to phones with a “paltry” two gig? Sure it does. Is it worth the extra cash to get the additional gig? Probably not.

I remembered correctly ''few years back'', me and my friends discussing the possibilities of having 3-4GB RAM in a Smartphone. Well i guess that was some ''few years back''
- Quick Questions
Do today’s apps “need” six (or eight) GB RAM to power them? Where are the gamer? Of course not. Would I trade the 3GB in my Tecno Phantom 6 for 1GB? Nope.

What that leaves us with is the same type of question we asked few years back: Is a 6GB smartphone simply overkill, or is it strategically helping to “future-proof” for the apps and OS of tomorrow? We certainly aren’t going to say that my Phantom 6's 3GB RAM ought to be enough for for everyday tasks until 2020” – but I'm curious to hear your thoughts!

Nairaland General › South African Gay Singer, Kolo Bala Dies Of Anal Cancer. by Horlufemi(op): 3:39pm On Mar 14, 2017
South African gay musician, Kolo Bala has lost the battle against a three-years long encounter with Anal Cancer. He died on Monday, March 7, 2016 at a hospital in Cape Town, South Africa.

Bala was diagnosed with the disease in 2013 and was quite open about his predicament, determining that he will overcome the health challenge by all means.

Unfortunately, that has not been the case.

He is a member of the music group 3sum, also the second to die after the passing of group member, Jeff Moyo in 2010, making Amstel Maboa as its only survivor.

The music industry is shattered by the loss as can be observed from the social media, where tweets have been pouring out.

Exactly!!!!

DNA is not to be messed with! Do you get it now or do you think those deformities were part of the evolutionary process for those kids in an attempt to survive or adapt?

I noticed you called the kids mutant kids. isnt mutation allegedly a part of evolution? If so why then do you call it deformities and why are you shocked and repulsed by the outcome of the nuclear holocaust? Afterall mutation is supposed to be a part of evolution of which you are a proponent? So why is this "mutative evolution" by these kids repulsive to you?

You should be indifferent or rejoicing about it and not repulsed or shocked. Or are you confused?
Mutations are generally not advantages they are disadvantageous in nature. e.g. sickle cell anaemia grin

They will die before they reach reproductive age.

Evolution is a "fabu"

Christianity Etc › Re: Atheists Are Hypocrites by Horlufemi(m): 3:49pm On Mar 13, 2017
blueAgent:
This is an extract from the book WHY I LEFT ATHEISM
by John N. Clayton.describing the hypocrisy he discovered in Atheism.

An honest search will reveal
that hypocrisy is not confined to religion. I had the idea that every hypocrite in the world sat in a pew on Sunday morning, and thus that everybody who was not sitting in a pew was not a hypocrite. I remember the lesson I learned on this. There was a young man who would sit elbow to elbow with me arguing against the
religionist from time-to-time. He was in the hospital once with a very serious ailment. I
went up to visit him and as I opened the hospital door, I saw him down on his knees praying to God. I stood at the door of that hospital room screaming at him, “You hypocrite — you dirty hypocrite!” until I was
escorted out of the hospital. It slowly began to dawn on me that hypocrisy is a function of
humanity, not religion. You deal with hypocrites at the grocery store, at the filling station, on the job, at school, and at the golf
course (maybe more there than anywhere else). You do not quit buying groceries because the grocer says one thing and does
another. You do not quit your job because your employer tells you to do something that
he himself would not touch with a ten-foot pole. You do not deprive yourself or your
child of a good education because a teacher teaches one thing and lives something else.
You do not quit playing golf because your buddy takes a stroke in the rough and does
not count it when he thinks you did not see it. Sure there is hypocrisy in the church,
because there are human beings in the church, and as long as you deal with human beings, you are going to deal with hypocrisy.
Do you want to get away from hypocrisy? Dig a 20-foot hole in your back yard, jump in, let
someone cover you with dirt, and even then you are going to be sitting down there in the
bottom of that hole with one hypocrite. There is not  one of us breathing air that is as consistent as we ought to be, but the person who says, “I'm not going to be a Christian!
I'm not going to serve God! I'm not going to get involved in the work of the church because there are hypocrites in the church,” is just logically inconsistent! We do not use that kind of thinking anywhere else in our lives. How can we do it in our relationship to God? There were many, many misconceptions that I had to get rid of to understand truly what the Bible really teaches.

Like his personal experience with his friend has shown most Atheists are mislead into believing that all other Atheists share the same thoughts . but a little more research and effort will unreval the Identity of most Atheists.it is a fact that most celeberity Atheists are Satanists who mask as Atheists to decieve the Sheepie among them who lack the capacity to think for themselves  Atheists of the likes of Karl Maxl,John Carpenter,Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong,Leon Trotsky,Mussolini were all confirmed occultists.
Bad guy

Atheism is a religion, an anti-God religion for that matter but they won't accept it. It takes more faith in believing in evolution than believing in a creator.

They should prove to me where ENERGY and MATTER come from, let's ignore the INFORMATION stored in our DNA or in our minds.

Politics › Lagos-ibadan Rail Project Ready In 2018 — Osinbajo by Horlufemi(op): 8:13pm On Mar 07, 2017
Acting President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo, on Tuesday said the Federal Government was committed to delivering a fast and efficient rail service system between Lagos and Ibadan within a projected time frame of December 2018.

Mr. Osinbajo, who spoke at the Ground Breaking Ceremony of the Segment II Lagos-Ibadan Rail Project with Extension to Lagos Port Complex, Apapa, held at the Nigerian Railway Corporation compound, Ebute-metta, recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari, during his visit to China in January 2016, reopened negotiation on the Chinese support for the project under the Lagos-Kano modernization project.

He said the ground-breaking ceremony marked the commencement of the government’s plan to move speedily to improve transport links with Lagos, the national economic nerve centre and major port to other state capital across the country.

“An active and vibrant railway system confers many benefits on the society,” Mr. Osinbajo said.

“Our ultimate goal is to restore a railway using culture for both commercial and personal transportation. We are confident that the national rail project will create up to half a million jobs and facilitate the movement of up to 3.2 million tonnes of cargo per annum.

“It will also reduce the burden on national high ways, thus reducing deterioration of the road networks and increasing the life span of our roads. Railway network will support efforts to diversify the economy and enhance our export potentials.

“Just as several of our cities became known as railway towns in the past we expect to boost economic activities within the railway lines that will eventually cut across the entire country,” Mr. Osinbajo said.

Oyo State Governor, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi; President Overseas, China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (CRCC), Mr. Zhao Jinhua; Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode; Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo; Chip Whip, House of Senate, Sen. Olusola Adeyeye; Minister of Transportation, Hon. Rotimi Ameachi; Ogun State Governor, Sen. Ibikunle Amosun and Minister of Solid Minerals, Dr. Kayode Fayemi during the Ground Breaking ceremony of the Lagos-Ibadan Railway Project with extension to the Lagos Port complex, Apapa, at the Nigerian Railway Corporation compound, Ebute-Metta, Lagos, on Tuesday, March 7, 2017.

In his goodwill message, Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, said the proposed extension of the Lagos-Ibadan Rail Project would go a long way to open up the economy of the South West region as well as facilitate regional integration and growth.

He said the project also marked a new dawn in the transformation of the nation’s transport infrastructure, especially for the South West region.

Expressing delight that the take-off had become a reality, the Governor said aside boosting regional integration, the agricultural sector would receive the long awaited boost as the rail line will be a fast and convenient means of transporting farm produce from the hinterland to the city thereby increasing the economies of the States.

“A direct benefit of this project is that containers and goods from the Apapa Port will now be transported by rail thereby reducing the number of trailers and other heavy duty vehicles on our roads,” said Mr. Ambode.

“A direct consequence of this project would be less productive man hours wasted on the roads due to traffic gridlock and bad roads due to heavy duty vehicles.

“In addition, we expect government to expend fewer resources on road repair and maintenance once the rail line takes off and reduce the pressure of articulated vehicles on our roads.”

While thanking President Buhari for approving the Right of Way for the proposed Red Line Light Rail Project by his administration, Governor Ambode also implored the Nigeria Railway Cooperation to cooperate with the State Government during the construction of the Red Line.

“We thank the Federal Government of Nigeria under the able leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari for prioritizing this landmark project which will greatly complement our efforts to deliver a transport system that is befitting of a modern city state,” he said.

“It is also important to note that the Lagos Red Line rail will share the same corridor and Right Of Way with the Lagos-Abeokuta-Ibadan Rail Line.

“We thank the Federal Government for grating approval for the Right of Way for the Red Line. I want to use this opportunity to implore the Federal Government particularly the Nigeria Railway Corporation to cooperate with us during the construction of the Red Line as we work with them to make the Lagos Abeokuta Rail a big success,” Governor Ambode said.

Earlier, Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, said on assumption of office, President Buhari prioritised the completion of rail projects across the country and challenged the Ministry to hit the ground running to ensure that the project is delivered in record time.

TV/Movies › Re: Why Kemen Must Sue Big Brother! by Horlufemi(m): 8:01am On Mar 07, 2017
pressplay411:
The answer is simple. Big Brother lacks the moral obligation to disqualify Kemen over his situation with Tboss when worse has been condoned.

The show itself reeks of immorality, period.
Several acts of immorality; sexual and non sexual have been perpetrated by contestants and condoned by the organisers of the show since it's inception. But what makes this special? Yes, ladies we agree it was a sensitive and delicate issue and in fact inexcusable, but were you expecting morality from an immoral show?

Where were you when Debby Rise violated Bassey? Or it doesn't count when a man is the victim?
Or where was BigBrother when married TTT was being serviced by Bisola? Why didn't BigBrother (the informant) inform her of his marital status? Maybe that just wasn't immoral enough.

Perhaps the most hypocritical part on Big brother would have to be in 2007, remember the fingergate scandal between Richard and Ofunekka? How convenient that BigBrother even rewarded the culprit with the prize of the competition. But now disqualify Kemen for a less grievous act?

In conclusion, BigBrotherNigeria is not a realityshow that prides itself over it's moral standards, so to escalate this Kemen-Tboss situation to the level of disqualification was just plain hypocritical. Especially considering that TBoss didn't even lodge a complaint, rather BigBrother blew the whole situation out of proportion.

Kemen would henceforth be stigmatized and become victimized as a sex offender which would damage his relationship and business. He should and must sue for damages and in fact defamation of character.
Consent is missing in all your grammar. A woman can get nude in front of you doesn't mean oya come. If she gives consent fine, if not just good ya preek and pray she gives you go ahead.
