https://www.nigeriavillagesquare.com/images/stories/AluuKillers.JPG Face of the Killers. The guy holding the plank was was an especially enthusiastic BEAST and deserves capital punishment. The video appeared to have been shot by the woman in purple/jeans. If you know anyone of them on this picture, have them reported to the Police. |
Did you send this picture to the police? |
They should build high standard hospitals in Nigeria instead of going abroad for treatment |
Anyone who hasn't heard this track featuring two of the victims Lloyd (Big L) and Ugonna (Tipsy) and wants to hear it can listen to it from this link. Listening to their song will bring tears to your eyes. http://hitplayonline.files./2012/08/17-heart-of-the-city-ft-yetty-big-l-and-tipsy.mp3 |

They should be arrested by the police and the video of the killing should be used as evidence. |
Henry120: @horus, there should be other forms / ways to make donations, not only through electronic form. Nigeria is still a country were virtually everybody relies on cash payments. Thank you.It is just a petition, nobody is asking for money. |
Father of UNIPORT student lynched “for stealing phone” speaks By News Express on 06/10/2012 He is well-to-do, a top Senior Manager at the Pipelines and Products Marketing Company (PPMC), a subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). He can afford to buy any type of telephone handset or laptop for any of his four sons. But this morning when Onyema Biringa (shown in photo), who is based in Port Harcourt, capital of Rivers State in South-South Nigeria, woke up, it was to prepare for the burial of his first son, Chiadikobi, who was lynched yesterday by a mob for allegedly stealing handsets and laptops. https://www.newsexpressngr.com/images/news/Onyema%20Biringa.jpg The bereaved father, who alongside his family s still reeling from shock, is seeking divine intervention over the cruel fate that has befallen his beloved son. “I have handed over the murderers to God,” he told a relative last night. News Express reports that Chiadikobi and two other students of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) believed to be his friends were forcibly seized by a mob at Allu, an off campus suburb where they lived, paraded naked, mercilessly beaten to death despite passionate pleas, had their necks bedecked with used tyres preparatory to being set ablaze. The only one to be identified, Chiadikobi’s body has been taken to his hometown, Umungwa, Obowo, in neighbouring Imo State, for burial today. Outrage has greeted his murder and that of the other victims of the jungle justice. Writing on Facebook, one of his relatives, Okonkwo Queen, said: My eyes are filled with tears. My dear brother may your soul rest in peace.” Source: http://www.newsexpressngr.com/news/detail.php?news=395&title=Father-of-UNIPORT-student-lynched-%E2%80%9Cfor-stealing-phone%E2%80%9D-speaks |
Help stop the practice of mob lynching in Nigeria The Petition We URGE you to help stop the practice of mob lynching in Nigeria. Almost daily, persons suspected of petty or serious crimes, including children, are subjected to the worst forms of brutal assault by mobs who take the law into their hands in apprehending, trying and convicting these suspects. The mob actions often involve stripping the victims until they are stark Unclad, after which they are viciously beaten with sticks and all manner of cudgels until they die. On other occasions, used car tires (tyres) are hung around suspects’ necks and they are doused with gasoline (petrol) before being set ablaze while alive with onlookers standing by. Thanks to the power of the Internet, information about these extra-judicial trials by angry mobs on the streets of Nigeria is shared on blogs and social media like Twitter and Facebook, revealing that these practices are more common than assumed. This year alone, several of such brutal applications of mob justice has occurred around Nigeria. With your help we can put an end to these barbaric acts and ensure that legal processes are followed in the matter of arresting and prosecuting perpetrators of these obvious crimes. We also seek to make sure that the Nigerian Police adheres strictly to the LEGAL processes in dealing with suspected criminals after arrests are made. We are petitioning the following institutions and officials: 1. The Nigerian National Assembly 2. The Nigerian Inspector-General of Police 3. The Attorney-General of the Federation 4. State House of Assemblies 5. Governors and State Commissioners of Police 6. The Nigerian Presidency Our Demands: a. Make it a criminal act to facilitate or participate in any act of mob lynching. b. The intended enactment must provide incentives for informants who witness and document such acts. c. Provide budget for public enlightenment on this matter. d. The Nigerian Police force be more transparent on issues regarding arrested suspects We encourage you to sign this petition and to join us in compelling the Nigerian authorities to end bestial acts that debase our humanity and project a barbaric image of Nigeria. Help stand for human decency and the rule of law in Nigeria. Thank You. Link to the petition: http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/help-stop-mob-lynching-in-nigeria/ |

The bible do not give a pastor imunity from prosecutions. If the pastor accepted looted funds as tithes he is as guilty as the one who offered him this stolen money. You cannot hide behind religion or use your bible to do Money laundering. Money laundering is the process of concealing the source of money obtained by illicit means. |
Ogahtech: I think Nigerian government should introduce a policy, whereby students should undergo drug and aptitude test before allowing them to study abroad. that will not only save Nigeria from disgrace but will help the Nigerian parents who spend millions of naira sending their children to study abroad.I dont think this is the right option. The only thing that will save Nigeria from disgrace is when the Nigerian Government will decide to build universities with very high international standards in Nigeria. Why spend millions of naira sending childrens to study abroad when we know that we just have to create good conditions for education right here in Nigeria?. |
Ganys: UPDATEYou should film it with your mobile phone right now. |

Good news, we just need to build more quality schools and universities in Nigeria. |
12. Corruption in every nook and corners. We need a new law. Corruption in Nigeria is a crime that should draws capital punishment. Nigeria should also have extradition agreements with most of the countries harbouring the Nigerian fugitives guilty of corruption crimes. |
brojero: Well, while emotions are running high here on Nairaland, cooler heads are planning for the inevitable...Thank you for this link, everybody should have a look at it. |
I think that this debate is taking a wrong turn, we dont need statistics about who is bitter or who is not bitter, what we need is that the Nigerians in the diaspora should return in large numbers to Nigeria to bring us knowledge, to bring us technology, to bring us foreign direct investment, to create jobs in Nigeria to play a very significant role in reducing poverty in the country. Knowing who is bitter or who is not bitter will not develop Nigeria. |
