To transfer your domain from one registrar to another is pretty easy. 1) The domain has to be "UNLOCKED" at the current registrar. Look around your control panel to find where such an option is. 2) Every domain name has an "Authorization Code / EPP Code". The code will be provided by your current registrar. Again, look around your account control panel to see where applicable information can be found. 3) When you make a domain transfer request from registrar-A(old) to registrar-B(new), registrar-B will request for the code i #2(above). The request has to be authenticated, so please check your email. With all things being equal, between 24hours, your domain should resolve at your new registrar. Better still, why not must map your domain at your old registrar to your hosting at the new hosting company. In the control panel of your domain, just enter the ns-record information of your webhosting. thats it. if you need specific help, please reach me on whatsapp! (details in my signature) |

In this post: http://eddykenworld.com.ng/post/7FeaturesYouShouldLookForInAPairof-MensLong-WalkandJoggingSneakers your images should have linked back to your shop. But if you are blogging about another niche altogether, its better to go for another blog alltogether. regards HK |

Hi guys, I didnt know there was a Golf thread here. I have a golf4 that Ive spent much on, now I decided to park it. The major issues are: 1) overheating - at any small distance. 2) sometimes, "the car just dies, while in motion" - thats how I can describe it. I could be driving and suddenly discover that the engine has died car just rolling on - as in pressing the accelerator doesn't do anything anymore. Only the brake works.. Ill have to quickly adjust my gears, turn off and on the ignition. This doesnt happen often, but the car gives no warning signals before it does. Pls add me to your whatsapp: 08055401551 regards HK |

yomalex:web4africa has credibility issues, yet web4africa isnt doing anything redeeming its image. I made a comment on the whogohost issue days back, web4africa shouted me down, asking for proofs as if he is innocent. I replied with my proof and web4africa has since zipped his mouth. here it is: https://www.nairaland.com/3282426/whogohost-why-never-use-nigerian/2#48565862 regards HK |
Its very disheartening that you would create a free wordpress blog and a lousy post and yet request help to make money. have you spent anything on the blog? No Is your content worth anything No conclusion: you cant make money from that your blog. regards HK |
fidorocks:Hello there Barrister Fido, Just some tips from HK, the WP guru. 1) you have a nice domain, good exposure required to gain more readers. 2) add pages: - about pages: it would be nice to know who the man behind the wheels is, what he does, where he practices, what his practice area is. Add an inset picture showing your handsome face. If you have several writers, include a brief info of each contributor. - Privacy policy - that should be one the #1 list of pages for a lawyer like you - disclaimer notice - while you share your own opinions, you dont want someone to take your lega-statements hook, line and sinker 3) If you have a private practice, why not use a more corporate theme, ex http://themeisle.com/demo/?theme=Lawyeria%20Lite) and then feature your blog contents on the home page. You get to kill 2-birds with one stone: while you write interesting legal articles, you promote your own practice.4) Free theme: go for something minimal, something that showcases your content. Personal recommendation: http://wpexplorer-demos.com/gopress-demo/ 5) Tutorials, Tutorials, Tutorials: readers world loves tutorials Tip: I havent come across a blog written by a lawyer who offers legal-tutorials for everyday issues Nigerians face. Meaning: can you give us some tutorials? these are just wild example: - I am harrassed by someone I know, how do I get legal representation? - 10-dos and donts after I was arrested by the police for an offense I have never heard of. - omo-onile issues? 10-documents to require from land sellers? - my father is forcing me to marry his best friend, what does the constitution say? - what is a C of O? - what is a tenancy agreement - what are the rights of my landlord? what are my rights as a tenant? - 20-rights you didnt know you have as a Nigerian male - 20-rights you didnt know you have as a Nigerian female - Nigerian constitution for Nigerian dummies - explain in lay man terms Barrister Fido, are you feeling me. I myself would like to read on the above. Now let me assume your area of law practice does not cover all of the above, you could invite your other legal colleagues to help you cover other areas. Im feeling your blog could be a blast if you could hit the right buttons. If you need technical help with your WP site, hit me up on whatsapp. warm regards HK |
kamalcole3000:hello Boss, msg me on whatsapp, I can guide you and get it done for you. Im the WP guru! regards HK |

KvnqPrezo:Yes you can. How? ps: I am talking entirely from experience. 1) Go out and mingle. - why should you be sitting in front of a laptop copy-pasting when there are events to attend? Yes, there are events to attend and there are many of them for free, and a couple of celebs sometimes show up at those events. There are celebs you can meet in your state. Not all of them are in Lagos. There are persons of note in the country and getting close to such people / environments will help your blogging. You can go to radio stations and meet people. You can go to malls and spot some. You can attend popular religious houses and blog about events, programs, etc, first hand, rather than hear say. There are always journalists lounging around RCCG, Deeper Life, Christ Embassy, etc on their special program days. So why cant you do the same. Your blog becomes more credible when you can confidently declare: "I was there"...... and when you have proofs to show the world. It is an investment, and deciding to make it helps you in the long run. Therefore, you can take your own pictures with your own camera, and watermark it with your own logo, write your own reviews / stories and meet people. The more you go out, the more people you meet and the more leads / sources of entertainment gossip you'll have. When you get into the entertainment circle, you wont find entertainment blogging hard at all. It is better if you are copied that for you to be copied. It is very easy to find out online who copied who. 2) Research. - assuming you are writing on a particular topic, do proper research. Read hard-copy newspapers, read softcopy. Read offline, read online. Read entertainment magazines. Build your own story with the pieces and bits. For example, rather than just post pictures about a celebrity who visited Dubai and posted his/her pictures, you can write a review of the last 5-international trips the celebrity had and what they did there, etc; you can write about the last 10-celebrities who visited Dubai and share their pictures; you can compare and contrast, add a little salt and pepper. If your content is original, you would be able to enter the circles of the celebrity management personnel, send them emails for updates etc. There are invite only whatsapp groups, email groups, etc for celebrity news, and you can only get in if you are known to be an authentic blogger not just a copy paster. Note: Celebrities also like people who write about them, and they do well in keeping a handful of such peeps around them. That is why it is also easy for them to dismiss pieces of news that come out from their unknown sources. There is always a piece of the juicy news that the people you are copying from missed and if you could get that, the better. If you want to write about sports, go to where the athletes are. If you want to write about prisoners, go to the nearest prison to you, you will find news items there. The same applies to entertainment, and every niche. regards, HK |
GlorifiedTunde:I used web4africa before and the site I paid for could not come online for a whole year. My complaints generated into many emails back and forth and they couldn't fix their own issues......... Can you imagine? For 1-whole year? Web4africa tries its best to market itself as a Nigerian, Ghanaian, south African, all African brand, but those of us who were once their victims know better. Regards HK |
web4africa:Chief, If you are a new staff of Web4Africa, please take your time. And if you are Mr. Ajao himself, you should be ashamed of yourself. Spurious allegations without evidence? a pinch of salt? intentions? oh really? mushroom operation? how proud of you to say so. Your comment is very full of disdain. I am the one who first registered nairabytes.com with web4africa. Why not google the domain name and see what you will come up with. Did you see how much it costs now? Why? Check the domains history online. It was a whole year of back and forth emails with you and your team and my site never came online. Check your email history and see what you can find. At the end of a whole year of not providing me the service I paid for, Mr Niyi still had the guts to send me a facebook add-request, send me a link asking how I enjoyed their 1-year hosting service, send me a linkedin connection request, and another mail saying I should renew my services or loose my data. Which data? I was like, is this not the same guy who has been trying to fix the hosting for a whole year? regards HK Ps: 1) No, Im not bashing Nigerian hosting companies, Im just saying: I once got scammed by Web4Africa afterwhich I realized I was not the only one. 2) After I got scammed by Niyi and his company, I shined my eyes, got my hands dirty-technically speaking and I set out to learn the ropes, do it myself and help others!!! This is the whole 9-yards!!! |
@Tak2Bella, what domain name did you try to register? have they replied you? do you need help with the hosting,? I can help. Hit me up on whatsapp - details in my signature. regards HK |
