I am currently working on a project that requires me to design a dashboard capability for a role of Agent (Editor) which allows them to perform an action that requires a plugin to do. I don't want to use the activate_plugin role functionality and it allows them to activate just about any plugin at all. I need some assistance. I want themy to be able to use the plugin's function in a custom page on their dashboard and I want them to be able to use the functionality based on a subscription.

Nice idea sir, but your petition won't roll until you, we do our homework well.

No hard feelings. These are my thoughts based on what I know.

Nigeria is not the only country in the world where Paypal has restricted its citizens from recieving payment. The reasons for the restrictions are not too far-fetched. Its not because of hate, dislike or discrimination. A couple of years ago, I had the opportunity to get first hand info. A short summary is as follows:

1) Banks in Nigeria engage in fraud - this is true, and not rocket science. This fraud is both on depositors and withdrawals. Everything from amounts less than 1-Naira to millions and billions are all fraud. Others include sharp practices which are not in the books - financially speaking.

Another example is that banks in Nigeria can open an account in your name without your approval / permission, without you knowing it and you wont even have access to the account. Account will be opened in your name, utilized in your name, transactions to and fro in your name and eventually closed in your name..... you would never know except you are an insider.

For accounts you open by yourself customer, the banking infrastructure and process flow is faulty. It is not fool-proof.

2) If you have never left the shores of Nigeria, you are another undocumented Nigerian. The Nigerian international passport (ECOWAS) is the most authentic documentation about the identity of Nigerians. Besides your international passport, there is no other document the Nigerian government can provide on your behalf. Even if you have the passport and you have not travelled abroad, you are still undocumented - this looks funny but very true.

The summary of this is: What happens to those without international passports and those who have it but are hoping to travel out someday. The documentation part is from the Nigerian government, not from wherever you are going to.

3) Banks in Nigeria do not know their customers. Just about 30% of bank customers have KYC documentations in banks. Where are the remaining 70%?

Of the 30% with KYC info, 90% of such info is wrong, incorrect or not updated.

4) Banks in Nigeria often resort to short-cut and fraudulent methods for ATM processing. They piggy-back to/with other international banks and use the identity of that country for processing international payments. What this means is that ATM cards issued in Nigeria do not identify the Nigerian holder of the ATM card as a Nigerian. I have a story behind this one. I took the case up the local bank. Guess what they said: they said the ATM card is faulty, that I should come and change it.

5) Paypal is supposed to mediate in times of disagreement between the source and destination of funds for every type of transaction on their platform. If the Nigerian government has no information about its own citizens, where will Paypal get the info from?

The above makes it easy for Nigerians and virtually anybody to perpetrate fraud as Nigerians / in the name of Nigeria.

Our so called stakeholders are aware of the above. The question is what have they done.

And a friend just bought a domain name from NIRA and they refused to release the domain name, claiming that it was "specially for the sports organisation in Nigeria" and "they can need it anytime..."

As long as you did not copy and paste directly or you copied and paste but quoted d source, you are safe.

Anybody, I repeat, anybody that once wrote a piece of literature or article copied a part of it.

Copy but change the words n no search engine can detect it.

sorry for the late reply.

You want to write about the hottest places in the world and you have almost all the facts you need but you need more temperature data. Ok, so where will you get temperature data from? You can get temperature data from several sources online, but you will have to state in your own write-up where you got the data from? If its raw data that has real time values, measurements, etc; you have to declare where you copied it from, give credibility to whom credibility is due.

Nobody will crucify you for the above. If you on the other hand present your article without sources, what you are telling the world is that you went to those places, got / measured those temperature datas yourself, which is not correct.

In the analysis of the data, if you have to copy someone else's analysis, you can, but must definitely state your sources. The assumption is that your source is more of an expert at the analysis than you are. You can then make your own comments on the analysis you have quoted - this adds more value to your own reputation.

Hello sir,

Try to use color combinations, instead of just colors:

- general background is white
- your logo has red and black
- your menu text and drop-down is a shade of grey, while your menu hover is light blue
- your sidebar text is light blue while on hover they become grey
- sectional header-features is green
- social media features white text on blue grades background;

Dont forget that each featured image has its own set of colors(which you cannot manipulate); then your header / banner above has its own image colors.

All the above makes the site too loud, too color-full not colorful.

If I were you, I would use shades of black and red all over the site to match with the logo...... colors that rhyme with each other in view of the logo.

Presentation matters a lot bro.

Well, since you feel that having a blog of your own is your definition of "empower", Ill give you full featured blog, engage you on a 1-year project, but on some conditions:

- you must have a registered domain name, register it with any registrar or I can register it for you. Domain reg is not free
- your content must be strictly original content.
- after 1-year, you must either move the blog to another host or pay for hosting.

What I mean by original content is that I will be on the case of your blog daily, If I see any copy pasted content from anywhere on the internet there on the blog, Ill shut it down without any apology. That will be the end of our relationship.

I'll be your webmaster for 1-year, as if you are a paying customer. I will also monitor your content on the backend to look for copy paste material.

What is my problem with original content?
- well, a lot of our local bloggers go around copy pasting content from God knows where into their blog and then they call themselves entrepreneurs and website CEOs. I dont want you to add yourself to the list, with my aid.

If you want to sell a blog, make sure the content is fresh. Fresh content doesnt just mean content posted today, it also means current news, current info, not stale copy pasted news.

If a site already published the story last year, the whole world has heard of it already. Publishing it today has no more meaning. Even search engines will immediately identify your site as a copy pasted material.

I have used filezilla before and its pretty ok.

For webhosting, you dont actually need an FTP software.

You can design your site on your computer, compress it(Zip), upload the zipped file onto the server, then decompress on the server.

Your question borders around 'plagiarism' and this is a broad area to look at.

But briefly: Plagiarism is when you copy someone else's words or ideas, or just about anything(text, graphics, etc) without attribution of the original source.

Some people think that if they copy for example a paragraph of 5-sentences, and if they are able to edit like 3-sentences / rewrite it, then they havent plagiarized.

I usually advise people who want to start a blog, write about what you know.

As such, your information is always fresh and from your own perspective.
