1miccza:Those roads are Fed roads...if u see d State's machinery working on them at a time, they are palliative measures to relief d citizens. |
daveP:Maybe, i repeat, maybe because d road is a Fed road...d State govt started it and waited endlessly for d Fed to refund d money spent already and then help complete it...d FG owes Ogun over 100b in that regard as we speak. |
k |
You see, if d last two governors we had in Ogun were able to do 65% of what d Amosun has done so far on roads in particular, Ogun would have developed beyond what we have now. But where i think Amosun got it all wrong was starting so many projects all at once...and as now become overwhelming for him...and most of those roads are federal roads and most of d money spent on them are yet to be reimbursed-Amosun was yesterday pleading with d FG to pls refund over 100b d State has spent in reconstructing Fed roads...so one can understand why these projects are dragging. He even tried to embark on construction of more roads...Atan-Agbara road, Adatan-Ibadan road, Lagos garage road-Ijebu Ode road etc...but he was stopped by d FG who claimed d said roads had bn contracted out and funds released since 2008 (Imagine that)...so atimes d State just take palliative measures on such projects. And when u look at these State and Fed roads, they run to one another in most cases...T-junctions...cross roads etc...so atimes you just have to construct a road and then stop because it runs into a Fed road...in d view of these, i think d FG should release Fed roads within States to d State govtgs and stick to constructing highways. Now before u come 4 my head...i am not trying to paint Amosun as a perfect Gov; he's not perfect...he has his flaws like most of us, but like him or hate him, in terms of infrastructural development and boosting of d State's IGR (from 740m during OGD's admin to 7bn), he's 2nd to none in d history of d State. |
Kahujadekadura:So was it an African or European summit? Where World Leaders are gathered is what abeg? I just give up my bro...believe whatever u want to believe pls...it is well |
I believe Amosun must be in a dilemma right because of his Senatorial ambition...but as a true leader, he should be able to make compromises to accommodate your followers...I will suggest he dumps APC along with his men and test his popularity in d central...because i don't know hw he will do d National Assembly elections (Senate and Rep)...he will be campaigning for himself and Buhari under APC and his cronies who are running for Rep on another platform...it will be suicidal. Another viable option is for him to join forces with GNI's ADC, give Tripple A a return Rep ticket, choose a Deputy Gov and share other elective posts...get his own Senatorial ticket...gbam, d election is won and lost. As for Dapo, i have bn scratching my head to see how he will win d guber election in Ogun without Amosun's support or an INEC-backed massive rigging, and i seriously can't see it...for one, all elections will be held simultaneously across d country...no importation of thugs from Lagos, or huge mobilisation of security outfits...Tinubu will need all of them in Lagos to right d perceived wrongs of 2015 elections where Tinubu's men lost some posts to PDP...so it will be a level playing ground...and as far as Buhari still has soft spot for Amosun...he won't even bother again if he has already won his own election. I might be wrong though...plus so many things can go wrong or fall in place between now and then. |
Kahujadekadura:I try as much as possible not to join issues with people like u, but for what it is worth, let me educate u a little...i will advice u to google what World class summits entail...there are different sessions and topics that go with them...there are different speakers...different roles for participants...summits usually last 2 or more days in most cases and all these World class conference centers have so many rooms designed for different purposes and these rooms are well utilised during such summits to manage time and not overstretch each room during d time-frame. If u are well learned or have ever attended one, u should know these things...what am i even saying...people see whatever they have programmed their eyes to see even when it is seeing something else...have a nice day. |
Ibime: ![]() I don't know what he was thinking...Fayose, d man in pain himself... ![]() |
Ozibe:They must have given their speeches at different sessions...Buhari's seem to be an interactive session...are u trying to say d Presidency is lying about what he went to do in Paris? If u look at d logo of d event, u will notice that they are d same (leaves)... he's not like Fayose who went to address commuters in China claiming they are Chinese investors... ![]() |

gurunlocker:As in ehn... ![]() Do u know that *Rilwan Oshiomhole, his younger brother, is a Commissioner in Edo State Oil Producing Development Commission, EDSOPEDEC. *Seid Aliyu Oshiomhole, another younger brother, is the House of Assembly candidate for Etsako West 2 State Constituency. *Yakubu Oshiomhole is the Secretary to the Local Government Commission *Dr. Cyril Adams Oshiomhole. his son, is also vying for the House of Representatives for Etsako Federal Constituency. He is an hypocrite of d highest order...i just dislike hypocritical people. |
Is it even possible to sustain d mounting of CCTV on our roads in Nigeria? Trust me, they will all be gone within a fortnight... ![]() |
So d yeye club carried all their burden for Ighalo shoulders...little wonder d guy got injured at d end d season...imagine... a club with d highest goal scorer getting relegated...i have never seen it b4...21 goals nitori olorun..SMH |
Habeyy:ok...no P |
netoc65:How Oshiomole himself is running d affairs of APC in Edo State is a typical example of a chronic hypocrite...Nobody wins anything in Edo without his say-so..he even imposed his own son as a Rep candidate...substituted names of real winners as he pleases...even APC women protested early last week. You see, Oshiomole and his "co-travelers" are just using illegality to fight perceived "illegality"...time will tell if they will get away with it. And to be sincere, this is d worst primaries i have seen in any party since forever...collecting billions from aspirants and cheating them with bold face...tragic!!! |
Habeyy: ![]() But seriously, i didn't know d gang up against Amosun was this thick when i made dat statement...but underrate an Owu man at ur own peril...they will rather scatter everything than losing out completely...d height of impunity and stupidity on d part Oshiomole and his co-travelers is d removal of all Amosun's HoA candidates. And for d record...I am also a son of d soil...and i have lived all my life but 3yrs in Ogun. |
![]() Mad men everywhere...so let's assume d real Buhari is dead, and is bn replaced by a certain Jubrin...so d likes of OBJ, Atiku, Saraki and all those against dis govt will just fold their arms and be watching an outsider run d affairs of d country...u are so high on cow dung... ![]() |
I am sure they are going for Akeredolu next...when a HOA begins to remove those loyal to a sitting Gov, know that they are up to no good...they sure are gunning for d Gov....Akeredolu watch ya back!!! ![]() |
N-power of course |
At least N-Power is working and transparent on like Sure-P that failed woefully by d virtue of d fact that monies were given to PDP leaders in various states to pay participants- many of those PDP leaders just swallowed d money with impunity. In Ogun State for example, people were owed about 7 months salary...same with Bayelsa State. A sincere person should know d difference. |
delugajackson:There are over a million ways to die in Nigeria..it is just by God's grace that most of us are evading all d evil in d land. |
GOFRONT:The police intentionally damaged their legs so that they won't be able to run when d chance to do so presents itself. |
![]() |
Imagine d idiots playing around with a drunk MOPOL with is holding a loaded gun...what if he had opened fire on them due to d over-excitement he derived from d alcohol? In Nigeria, we have over 1 million ways to die. |
chilisauce:Dangote, though a football fan, is a businessman...he won't put his money where he won't get any return on his investment...u sef talk true...can u invest ur money in a league where points are going to clubs in a boardroom...where fans beat coaches, players and referees at will? Little wonder d likes of GLO keeps opting in and out of their sponsorship of d league. A league where d winner goes home with 50m...poor pitches all over d place...a league that has no attraction whatsoever...no security....biased officiating. Abeg let d man invest his money where he will reap d fruit. |
Starboytwo:Reminds me of a certain Senator (Mr a snae in d monkey shadow) who fought off kidnappers and perched on a tree in d forest for close to 20 hours.... ![]() This brings to mind d gory days of PDP's 16 year reign when assassins do not miss...does it now mean Nigerian assassins are becoming weaker as d years go by? Liars everywhere. |
rofanx13: ![]() Really? I have no qualms with people supporting whosoever they want as President in 2019, but it is not so good when people spread info that can't be substantiated...Pls go back thru history and check d no of unresolved assassinations of political bigwigs that were perpetuated during PDP's 16 year reign...have u heard of any high profile assassination in d last 3 years? |
Alzirida:You are very right...every second count during heart attacks...i think sportsmen and women around d world should be thought how to give quality CPR in such situations b4 d arrival of sidelines medics...an early CPR from a colleague of his could have saved his life. rest in peace bro |
oatzeal:The charm he used on d banker is very strong...imagine a banker stealing from customers' accounts to fund a business with that kinda man...because i can't just wrap my head around that. In fact they are both mad. |
Alzirida:You are very right...every second count during heart attacks...i think sportsmen and women around d world should be thought how to give quality CPR in such situations b4 d arrival of sidelines medics...a quality CPR from a colleague of his could have saved his life. rest in peace bro |
I hope d total shutdown of d country by d Labour force won't dabaru things o.. ![]() |
I knew they will be d last set to land in camp...d movers and shakers of d Super Falcons... ![]() Go girls...let's finish d year on a high!!! |
