this people are funny, got my visa today with my wife and they issue 1 month multiple with 15 days stay, they also ask me and my wife to report to the embassy when we return, issued me January this year, 6 weeks with 30 days multiple but now they reduce it, maybe is because of my wife.

I have understand that most people here once they see you are an outsider inflates the prices of services drastically. I have experienced it thrice now. It's just part of life you meet good, bad and terrible ones

Not inflate only. Just learn the people and their culture first before you have plenty engagements with them. My candid advise.

In my situation I’m diverting into tech. Instead of paying close to 20k for lmia, go to school n enroll for demanding skills in Canada like data analytics, IT, project management, UI/UX etc. If you can acquire if from home, that’s a good advantage.

The guy I met here, I wish he can share his experience so far but Baba wants everything settled first. I really like how the guy planned his journey, he activated his plan B immediately when he landed. He won’t come online to tell you his struggle until he’s stable. I understand the truth is harsh. All the challenges I’ve faced in Canada didn’t come as a surprise to me because I’ve listened to the truth n I know the reality of things.

There are some good IT training centers offering these courses. You can apply and start whilst you are planning relocating. In Life, learn to plan, don't just do things anyhow and in a rush. Plan. That is my message for anyone on relocation and be strategic about it.

Issuer of CoS will not be there if such questions are raised at the PoE.

The people that gave cos has said no problem, My brother relax your mind and book her flight. There is no answer we want to give you here that will validate what they have said. Betterstill she keeps in contact with them until her arrival. If e con happen as you dey talk, they can place a call to them for any clarifications. Immigration does this regualarly.

Thank you for your reply. In my own case, I submitted my study visa application at VFS global office in Lagos State. The online tracking has been displaying " application received and under assessment at the South Africa High Commission in Lagos State Nigeria". Do I need to address the follow up letter through DHL, to the embassy in Abuja or the one in Lagos State.

This is what some persons did and they got fast response.

Pension statement and balance for primary applicant
Previous travel stamps for both

Payslips, letter of intro etc for both
Wedding and family pictures
Letter of leave request and approval for sowp applicant
2 vehicles pictures and proof of ownership for both parents with pictures


Was done by an agent to avoid mistakes but i was present in every stage of the application till the end. Thanks for the wealth of knowledge gained here. I hope to continually contribute in the coming years.

If your account statement was downloaded online, you should take it to the bank for physical stamping, irrespective of attaching a reference.

I submitted a hardcopy application at VFS on Friday, and was asked to go to my bank to stamp my statement, even though I attached a reference letter. Mind you, this would be my 8th SA visa (the last one expired five days ago). This people no send you o.

Dont appeal france visas. It is a waste of time. Just re apply .

With the recent toppling of governments in these states of French colonalism. Maybe the reason for their change in visa approvals. They have been very notorious all year long. They have lost 4 nations already.

Good to know you have been to SA twice. Nothing has changed , same documentations, but processing times are longer. You can start your planning now.

It is a bit better now since the border is open, so activities are lesser on the road , i advise you travel on off peak days . In cotonou, not much of problem just find an hotel lodge.
