Cyprus immigration denied me entry, I want to know if this a red flag while applying for UK visit visa. Please someone should advice me on what to say on the form where they ask if you have travel to any country before, or should I go and enroll for another passport.

I have been sending emails and the customer care team keep asking me to checknm for the eye button which isnt available.

I am just here reading all the comments on SA visa and i am wondering what magic needs to be done to get SA visa.

I had no choice than to come here and drop this. whatever issues you are currently encountering with your visas, compile a detailed mail and send to them following address. I hope this will do and be very helpful to many of you here.
In addition for those just joining, Please take your time to read through the pages, that is how you learn and gather information.

I was in SA march, i reapplied when i got back to Nigeria, and i recently just got another SA visa in 3 weeks of application. I fall under the visa category (Tourist)

You have just confirmed what my friend told me. I also acknowledge alot of backdoor dealings in the system. Over to you interested , someone is making you a offer, and be informed, i am not soliciting patronage for bammy, he has given conditions.

There is no way you won’t go through the back door when it comes to SA. They don’t give resident permit to foreigners except for critical skilled workers which is not easy to get. However, if you have a tourist sticker visa and you want to switch to student visa( without necessarily going to school) you can hit me up via email. Price is 2.5m and payment is after you get permit.
If you know my username well, you know I went through tourist visa and right now, I have my three years study visa with a valid admission.

You said 2 weeks, you stayed 4 months. Are you keeping up with your statements? I state facts, i dont like beating around the bush. Just re apply, but be honest in your subsequent applications, that is what gives you a upper edge. Goodluck

I know. I gave that explanation for proper clarity, it seem like so many travelers do not know the consequences of over staying what you wrote on the form, ONLY , if ECOs overlook. Always abide by what you wrote.

UK visitor visa is always 6 months multiple entry. At the point of entry, the border office stamps you in without any period of stay.

some of the things i read here marvels me.

Though as a traveler, i know that some un-imagineable things are possible especially when you have a sure contact.

However , i spoke to a friend who has been in SA since 2014. She came in as an UG, finished at Unisa, and did her diploma, it is over 9 years, and i am suprised, she said she has not got a residence permit.

Tho, she admits that she refused to get it done via the backdoor. The idea has been she studying or taking up one course or the other for longer since 014. Imagine the financial implications.

So all our GURUS in the house, Tell me, How possible can it be to change visit visa to study visa?
Many things i am seeing here , of all countries, SA, Please guide us.

Their is period of stay, Their is visa validity.

Please read visa conditions carefully.

If you are allowed maximum stay for 10 days, do not exceed it.
If your visa conditions allows you for 3 month on a single entry, you can stay uptill 3 month but do not exceed it.

The conditions for every granted permit is always stated in the sticker, including your number of entries e.g[b] 1 - meaning single, [/b]Go and come back, with no opportunity to go again, you have to re apply OR M - Go and come back multiple times within a stipulated period.

The argument should be you said 2weeks, and stayed 4months. Did your visa condition allow you ?

We should state facts rather than rigmaroling on issues.

I can confirm first hand that South Africa were about to send back 24 out of the 25 Nigerians that arrived OR Thambo yesterday night with Air Peace. Out of 25, only my husband was let go to continue with immigration process and entry after an interview with all Nigerians with eVisa.

Was in police HQ for like 3 hours today, but I couldn’t even do the biometric capture as they said I needed to receive a text message to come for biometrics.

Despite all the push, I didn’t get a text message till I left there.
Surprisingly, I got an Approval message and I found out now that I was able to download the certificate online.

Without capturing….

The portal is so controlled that if you over check, your account is either frozen for 72hrs or blocked until next day. NA WA
