giselle237: from Nigeria, I dont think there’s a direct flight. It’s either change airport in London, Paris etc and you are already at 34 weeks which is the cutoff most airlines use to decide who they will carry or not. There’s no time on your hands anymore because worst will be 36 weeks. No airline will carry anyone at 36 weeks. Hi @giselle237, if one is routing to Barbados via London, does one need a transit visa? Secondly, I ask again for clarity. For persons undergoing summer classes in the Uk, what category of visa applications should they consider? Study or Tourist. I look forward to your input. |

zizle87: Hi 👋. Please I’d like to ask if the email you sent was translated to French. I’d appreciate if you can give a few other pointers also. It has to be translated to French and sent to the Deputy Director of visas, Cedex 1 Nantes , France. Use DHL or Ups to the address , cost 47k from Lagos. You will be contacted if there's a change in the decision. This is the new way for France appeals. |

Please your travel insurance, how many months was it? Nchabuomo: Sure.
I applied in Abuja. The visa processing took 10 working days I think. After applying I paid 30k abi an 35k cash as visa fee which is refundable if the visa is denied.
Documents: 1. Bank Statements 2. Letter of introduction (self written) 3. Payslips 4. Filled Visa Form 5. Passport (old & new) 6. Travel Insurance 7. Accomodation details 8. Flight itinerary 9. NIN slip (I found this very weird as I didn't even initially have one but had to go get it after the people at the embassy insisted that I need to submit one)
You do not need to book an appointment, they offer drop-ins (Submission Monday-Thursday 10:30-1pm)
Got 6 months, multiple entry.
Let me know if you have any other questions |

Put italy only. This people dont think like us. Goodluck dami24: Hi, please advise, which do you think is better.
I am applying to Italy embassy but I also intend to visit Greece. Do you think I should mention that and do flight itinerary for Greece as well or I should just put the entire duration for Italy and then visit as many schengen states as I want when I get the visa.
Please advise. Thanks |

Prisscindy: Hi,
I have visited the vfs website but still don't understand booking an appointment for biometrics if it would be an evisa for holiday visa. Kindly explain to me anyone. Thank you.
Then is multiple entry possible for this category? Use this site for your evisa https://ehome.dha.gov.za/epermit/login Create a profile, authenticate and fill your informations. Processing time is about 5-6weeks. Depends, maybe earlier. Also, if it is your first time, you dont need multiple entry. Single is ok. No need for bio. start your application , visa fee is 425 rands approximately 26 dollars. Goodluck |

alert20: How please?? Or is it not here someone said he has a 6months UK visit visa and he does not plan to come back in 4yrs time??
I'm just trying to let him know the risk he's taking if that is his intention, meanwhile if I did not said that how would we know he has 5yrs work visa?? To butress your point, If you read comments here alot , you find alot of genuine visitors to the United Kingdom rejected visas. so many cases like that. Guess what, all the ecos keep saying, "They doubt if the intentions are genuine" ABeg, tell me why Nigerians are profiled ? The sins of one person can not be carried by 100 people, we encourage our countrymen to remain honest. If you are issued a visitors visa, go and come back , Period! Look at the schengen countries, see what they have done. If you are not applying for visa outside Nigeria, or you dont fall into the category of frequent travelers, to get visa for first time visit now is a big job, even when you submit all the document on earth. They will still reject the person application. Go to the france section , go to other threads, go and read peoples comment and you will feel their frustrations. I am not a solicitor or immigration expert. Let us do the right things. So far so good, investigations has revealed that applying for visas outside Nigeria with your permit is surest way to get visa nowadays and i am sure alot of people are trying to do that. Betterstill, you look for alternative routes to relocate via study or work. This is just a compiliation of opinions as observed and gathered , it sure do not have to be your own thoughts. We just want the right things done. PS: This message is not targeted at anyone, i am just been expressive. Goodluck |

This is faxx. It is very straight, have them and trust me, Eu visa is sure. Safe trip voz vozkini: Prior the issuance of the visa. Previous application was denied. It’s the same application and same documents used earlier even my cover letter was a shorten instead of before and I even use pen to complete the cover letter and sign. I was denied earlier and someone told me that most people are likely to be given visa by Schengen country if you have the mention visas on your passport. That’s the reason for the observation @hunee |

No processing time. Just apply and be checking mails occassionally. Mine took like 6 weeks As regards your husband statement, YEs, use it, but add a cover letter stating that he is the one sponsoring your trip. State in your Personal Introduction letter Julibae96: Please how much does the south Africa evisa cost? And what's the processing time like?
Then can i also upload my husband's bank statement as proof of funds? |

Phunmyne: Alright, thanks. It all started with his company receiving an invite from another company in France to send a staff of theirs to the company in France. The company here is buying an equipment from the company in France. The first visa application was denied which came as a surprise, their reason was that they could not justify his traveling purpose. The company in France was contacted to reach out to them so the exact reason for the refusal will be known, the response was that the submission was less than a month to the traveling date and his marital status from his company's documents in Nigeria was single while he presented himself as married. The company in France decided to send another invitation at no cost (the first invite was paid for, not a big amount though). All documents was put together again for re application, the day he went to submit, the company in France was updated and they sent a reminder memo from their end as well. He was refused again. This time they gave two reasons 1. They can't justify his traveling purpose 2. They are not sure he will leave the member state before his visa expires. What do you think might be wrong? Hi. If you have a strong contact as you said in France. File an appeal . Stop re applying. Send a motivated signed appeal and attach proof to substantiate your claim. This can be done by the company in France on his behalf. Do this as soon as possible. Goodluck. |

giselle237: resident ke.. you should have started with I am currently illegal… you are not a resident if I could be plain with you. I say this because you are part of the quota making things difficult for others to be granted visa. Please note that I am not a professional immigration advisor and any suggestions should be checked out independently. Your overstaying should not be a problem as long as there are no aggravating circumstances. Return home/get married when you want and make your spouse visa application but make sure to get advice from a solicitor. British citizen spouse sponsor needs to satisfy financial requirement among other requirements
https://www.gov.uk/uk-family-visa/partner-spouse Thanks. I also saying same. Genuine visitors do not usually get granted visas. It is the ones that will over stay these useless ecos will give visas. That's the irony of it all. Having said that, do follow the advise given and lastly, if anyone gets granted a visit visa, Go and Come back. Save other innocent visitors from rejections. Goodmorning |
