Thank you. I can actually see you prepared well for the comeback and i am very happy for you.
gerrald02:
I added both countries to mine.

I stand to be corrected as a first timer but i shouldn't think so as itineraries and circumstances do change. Now i've got the visa i wish i can get 2 more days off work and some more money ill probably squeeze in 2 days in Italy and get out of my bucket list even though was not on original plans/countries declared.

Please how many days did it take UPS to deliver your passport from when VFS sent it out? Is there a way to track it with them?

Hi Pufframmy, this question goes to you.
Remember the part of the application for france tourist visa that said if you be visiting any other member state , even if it is for a few hours.
You should state it, during your time. Did you put it?
I noticed alot of people would use NO, and later enter other member states as seen in respondents cases online.

Are there implications for this, especially if one eventually returns after visiting other states.

I need your inputs as an experienced person. Other contributions will be accepted for all to learn.

I also thought gerrald added it, that was why he included santori as part of itinerary.

I will like to confirm what mode of payment was accepted for visa fee at vfs, especially now that there is cash crunch.
Were there some concessions.
Please give details

TravelRe: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by hunee:
You are very smart and genuine for your re application and getting it right this time. I wish you the very best and do keep us posted as you tour france. God bless you
gerrald02:
As requested.

I had previous Schengen visa application rejected twice in 2016 not showing sufficient evidence of home ties.

Got Canada visa got in 2018.

Evidence submitted in this application is similar to those presented in earlier threads.

1. application form + photograph.
2. Passport + copy Previous visa page / passport.
3. Travel Itinerary showing my holiday plans in both countries for the 10days - hotel + tour activities ( tours listed but i didn't book) i planned to do (as alternative to booking a return ticket).
4. Employee letter confirming employment and approval of leave during the period.
5. 6 months bank statement and my account balance which i have been building up reflected I would be able to afford spending 120€ daily for the trip.
6. Travel insurance paid.
7. Hotel accommodation booked but not yet paid for.
8. Cover letter introducing myself and summarizing the documents submitted and travel plans.
9. Landed Property document
10. Marriage certificate.
11. Kids school report/fees paid.

Items 9 - 11 I added as supporting documents to demonstrate personal links to the country of residence which was the reason of refusal in previous application.

Apart from the visa fee, appointment fee the only other thing I had to pay prior was the travel insurance.

Hello guys, what's the best way to resolve funds debited by VFS for France Visa Appointment but the appointment didn't go through. This phone number (0815 018 8800) on their website is never reachable. Is it possible to visit their Lagos office because i've been sending emails since last week and its yet to be resolved.

17.8 to a dollar, 40.5 to naira. When you arrive OR tambo , change it at the arrival. Be informed , they charge commision.
IntrovertGuy:
Hello!

To those who have been to South Africa or are currently there, How did you go about changing to Rand?

What's the current rate of Rand/Naira or Rand/Dollar?

Thank you.

Just put your travel dates. departure and return within the validity of visa. No stress on this one
mobilemykel:
bro within how many days interval did you book your ticket to travel after your Visa came out and within what time frame did you put as your return date?

I was issued a tourist visa( 3 months visa with a maximum of 30days stay per time) and my valid period to enter SA is 24th or march

I’m not here to write too much English but with my travel experience. So far the person has a valid multiple entry SA visa and he just want to go to another country and come back into SA he can get visa on arrival at Kenya airport showing his itinerary back to SA. It is only when you want to come to Kenya from Nigeria directly you will need to get your evisa before boarding flight. Peace ✌️
Lol . The person involved can send a mail to verify from immigration. Peace be with you too.

DUKEOFIBADAN:
Is your SA visa multiple entry? Don’t mind this person telling you to go to Lesotho, it is not visa free for Nigeria. You need to Apply for an Evisa online and even if with your visa they can still deport you. In fact South Africa is the only country that still accommodate Nigerians, other southern countries will deport Nigerians. When I was still living in SA and wanted to go check out Mozambique, I was deported back to SA because they said they don’t want Nigerians I even showed them I have $5k on me cash and they said we are too proud and like showing off. I met many Nigerians deported and waiting for their return tickets back to Nigeria. You can just go to Rwanda or Kenya both visa on arrival.
Kenya is not visa on arrival. I returned from Nairobi not long. I was also in Kigali , Rwanda. I flew in from Jomo Kenyatta. Only Rwanda is visa on arrival but you have to do covid test 55 dollars on arrival.

Why not use property24 and search based on your preferred location. 550/day is on a high side oooh. This is 7k+/month
550/day is high? For a first timer who no know road, make e go stay for midst of locals? I know it is high, but you dont manage when you are touring a new city first time. Cos it is not your home country, you stay safe Ok.

There are areas you get cheap accomodation, why some areas are a bit high like Pretoria where i am currently.

If you don sabi ground, then you can come some other time and get something better.

Inbetween, the 550 i said was for a studio apartment oo, if you get something cheaper, Goodluck ooo

Safety first.

My candid advise.

Hi guys.
I have an SA girlfriend and we've agreed that I visit her in SA.
We are looking at a month-long trip/vacation in May and she's willing to support me in terms of letter of attestation and sorts for Visa processing.

I'm comfortable and have a good account statement for my proof of funds.

Considering these information, do I stand a chance to get a Visa before May if I start my application now?
Also, how can I start my application and what's the best route to take.

Gracias.
Apply na. Time dey

I dont know about that. Just tell immigration what you came for and the number of days you will be spending. Chikena

You need covid vaccine.
Graceness777:
Please if you used the evisa for entry is it true they are stamping people in for only 5days regardless of how long you were given

Is the Covid vaccine card compulsory?
For more information, Please read my response to others. If you need accomodation in SA, i can recommend.
