HisRib: Romance should be mandatory in every relationship. Most couples shy away from it because they've been tricked into believing one needs to have a large amount of money in order to be romantic.

I'm going to teach you five ways you can implement romance into your relationship without having to spending too much money:

1) Quality Time

Spending quality time with your significant other can be quite romantic. There are many ways you can spend this time with you partner. I would recommend watching movies (at home), going for a walk, cooking together, shopping together and much more. During quality time, you have your partner's undivided attention. That's what makes it so romantic.

2) Romantic Dinner at Home

You don't always have to go to a fancy restaurant to have a romantic dinner. You can have it at the comfort of your own home and make it special in your own way. What's better than being at home with your lover, eating delicious food and listening to slow/sexy music? And of course after dinner, we all know what's going to happen in the bedroom.

3) Fun Activities

There are so many fun activities for couples out there. Plan something! If you are the boring type of couple, why not do something out of your element? Do something out of the norm.

4) Romantic Gateway

Not everyone can afford to go to Mexico, Monaco, Barcelona or the Bahamas for a romantic vacation. That stuff is great, but it's also overrated. Why not book a weekend at a 4 or 5 star hotel in your city? Not only is it cheaper, it also gives you the chance to explore and create memories in your own city. Or, you can visit another city within your country. It's amazing the things we discover when we stop taking what we have for granted. There's a lot to discover in your city/country. This is your chance.

5) Sex

Yes, that's right! I'm talking about the type of sex where you take your time to make sure your partner is fully satisfied.
Small tip for the Ladies: when he comes home from work, meet him at the door naked and slowly bring him to the room and rock his world. Don't just do the same routine sex like everyday. Once in a while, light it up in the bedroom and I guarantee you, he'll be hooked to your hip forever.

For every 'Christmas', there is always an 'advent'!! Whoever or whichever that teaches "it's not your portion" to pass through 'advent' before enjoying your Christmas is almost deceiving you. I am not part of it.

Obinna and his frnds has gone bak to dibia. They confronted him.......RIP Obinna!

As they kept knocking on our gate. I hurriedly said favorite prayer;

Bfo I cud finish this prayer, our other neighbor in d compound had opened our gate. My cousin and d police came in. We saw dem and were relaxed. My elders moved forward to d crowd of almost 50youths. They saw somebody who had been beaten almost half way dead. The guy couldn't look up because of pool of blood on his face. He was almost dead. The youth wanted gungle justice. Thank God for the police men who came on time.......he was d "real owner" of the fone. He was Chibuzo!!

Chibuzo was my frnd. Infact the family was staying in our compound also. The dad was d man who opened gate for the youths to come in. He was also my age mate. My cousin said he confessed hw he stole d fone when he was caught. That night obinna came bak, he was dt brought obinna bags from d taxi man. So he had access to obinna's room. That was when he took d fone.
But to show hw wicked people cud be, immediately the fone tin happened. Their family stopped talking to us.

Although his mum had always got at my mum. The woman always told my mum that she sent her daughters to sku at imsu for prostitution. These were my 2sisters who were studying medicine. But we undrstaod their frustration. This woman's daughters always married even bfo completing secondary sku. So she always looked for any unfavorable condition on our side to mock my mum. So when world bank youths were beating her son, Chibuzo mercilessly, she had and her husband had no choice than to cry. Chibuzo was dying. He needed medical attention. Bcause he was losing blood.

My mum begged the youths to allow d police take him to hospital. It took my 15k for the youths to allow the police take him. Finally the police men and my cousin bundled his almost dead body inside their van and left. Around 11:30pm

Wooooooooo. Tears of joy!!!!! My sisters rushed to me, hugged me so tightly. Hahahaha. My mum and I were crying.
Who will be d first to hear this new?
Fr. Nath. I called him instantly. Fr. Nath had a specially number that even he is praying his "briviary" he will answer a call to that line. That was d number he gave me. I called him, he answered. I cud feel his joy when I told him. People gathered in my compound not minding the time to felicitate wit us.

So many songs of praise were bubbling in my heart. I must sing.... I began to sing to eveybdy's hearing;

At first, my mum didn't believe him. Because she thought there was no way someone who stole d phone cud sell it at a stone throw from where he stole it. Finally she obliged. She met obinna and collect the serial number. This happened on d 23rd of october. When he gave this guy d serial number, around 7pm that same 23rd, this guy rushed to our house af if someone was chasing after him. He told my us that d serial numbers matched! Hearing this, my eldest sister broke down in tears. We started making arrangements on how to buy and meet d seller of fone.

Sagem(my X-7) was sold at N26k as at den, but my mum gave 50k! My mum begged the guy not to argue price wit whoever was selling. The next day 24th, one of my older cousins rushed to the central police station(CPS) aba and reported the case. He also told the police hw d fone had been found. Meanwhile, obinna kept asking us if d serial matched, but my mum avoided him like death. He was totally kept in d dark concerning d developments.

The guy who stole d fone was selling tru 2middle men. So the stranger who leaked d info to my mum didn't knw him.....but was our main target. These guys said they were gonna sell d fone at 20k. Without hesitation, our guy agreed. But he insisted on seeing payin directly to d owner of d fone. These middle men told him that d owner went somewhere that he wud come bak in 2days time (being 26th). This our guy agreed.

As all these were happening, no one heard from dis dibia again. After d encounter wit Fr. Nath, he never threatened us again. Although we were hoping that one day, he might come. On that 26th, my cousin had mobilized youths of world bank housing estate and also abt 7 police men frm CPS. Those sellers had told him that the "real owner" of d fone wud come bak around 9pm. He also agreed to meet them by 9pm.

Around 10:25pm, my mum, my 4 sisters and I were praying the ROSARY. Then we developed d habit of saying the ROSARY according to St. Louis Marie de mount Forte......this method of praying the ROSARY always takes time. Because between the decades, we were mentioning our petitions. So we were always spending almost 2hrs in 10decades. So it this time that we heard so many people shouting "onye oshi, onye oshi" (thief, thief, thief). Instantly, fear gripped all of us inside the room. We thought they were coming for me.

Our gate was already locked. So they stayed outside shouting "where is that his father?" "Let him come now" infact I can't explain the atmosphere in our compound that night. But hearing "where is that his father" we were a bit confused. They wudnt be asking where was my dad, because every body around our area then knew my dad was late. So we remained calm. They started banging our gate. My mum advised me to hide. I refused. Instead I was very strong.....

On the 21st of october, around 9pm, we got a message that the native doctor was comin. I called Fr. Nath that night, but he said he wasn't in parish. He also said he was on his way bak, that he wud come if he cud make it. We relaxed and kept waiting. to our greatest surprise, the news spread in d area that night that this dibia was coming. I could see people indirectly gathering infront of our house. Because our gate was locked, so some guys who wanted to come and witness stood outside. I just wasn't scared. But my mum and sisters were. Obinna was sitting in our sitting room wit his frnds and some of our family members who my mum called.

There were about 12people in our sitting room that night. We were still prayin wen our door opened and it was Fr Nath! Wow! That was around 9:45pm. His arrival lifted our spirits. We felt a surge of confidence. Now, everybody was waiting for this man. Obinna called him on phone, when he picked, he let the phone speak 2ru loud speaker.
Fr. Nath moved forward and introduced himsef to this dibia. Fr later asked him if he was sure of what he was saying. He (Fr.) also asked him if he knew what he was doin to a little boy. At this stage the man got angry and began to ask Fr if he realized whom he was talking to. Fr said yes that he (dibia) was d man who had using devilish charms to kill d souls of innocent people. This statement from Fr. got this man infuriated.

He threatened to deal wit me mercilessly when he arrived. Fr. told him that my God wud deal wit him mercilessly first. All these war of words happened over the phone. In the presence of evenrybody in my house. Thank God our was very close to d church. We really delayed Fr. Nath that night. He stayed in our house till around 11pm.
Finally this didn't come again that.
Fr. Nath now left for parish house.

The next day, around 6pm, a guy met my mum and told her abt a Sagem fone that someone wanted to sell at d bak of my house.....I forgot to tell u. This obinna's phone was also sagem(my X-7). The guy told my mum to get d stolen fone receipt from Obinna so that we cud compare d serial number.....

After like 10days into saga, It seemed as if I was becoming stronger. I didn't bother again. I conncentrated on what my God wud do for me against my accusers. Thank God for the october devotion, every evening I wud go to church and come bak at night. I made it a duty to visit the Blessed Sacrament daily after devotion. There I wud say my Psalms and my rosary. One prayer I loved/love so much is the "Memorarae"

I never missed this prayer.
I never cared abt what was going to happen. My true frnds were always wit me.
Every body who truly knew was asking obinna to think well. If he actually knew what he was doing.
One day in Ariaria market, someone mocked my mum with d situation. My mum had to close her for dt day around 2pm, came bak and was crying bitterly. In all these tinx, we directed the insult to God.

We did all we cud to draw God's attention. We invoked all d patron Saints whose names my sisters and I took after. Mine was St. Chrysogonus of Aquiliea. We also didn't fail in bookin mass intentions and novena masses. Wow!! There is power in d Catholic Church and her prayers. We sought the face of the Lord, he answered us from his holy mountains. Obinna and his friends threatened to involve d bakassi men. They threatened fire and hell if I kept denying. In all thess tinx, I never gave in to their threat.

The funniest was some people advised my mum to save her only son at all cost. They suggested countering obinna's native doctor with another "stronger one"
And it was Fr Nath saw d vision, that evening, on d 20th of october, he said he was gonna follow me to my house. He said he wanted to pray with me and my family members. I quickly called my and informed her of Fr's plan. They were very happy.
To our greatest surprise, the first tin Fr Nath said in my house was "the devil is going make u people an offer to deliever you from this situation. But remember, when devil saves ur SON, he takes ur DAUGHTERS". He advised against the any form of devilish offer. And encouraged us to hope in God who never fails. After that we from Psalm 51, he blessed us and left.

Wow!! Finally God of infinite greatness has begun his revelation. The whole of world bank is going to shake. It's going to be a great manifestation.......

After that sunday, the nest day was a monday. By that time, we had contacted all our family members. We informed them of all d developments. And they all showed interest. These family members of mine knew what I cud do. They knew d kind of person I was. This made them all very eager to see to d last minute of the situation. My mum's youngest brother wud call me at least twice everyday from d USA. On several occassions, he gave phone to one of his frnds who was also a strong member of St Anthony of Padua in USA. The white lady wud tell me to see the situation as a test to my faith. And also a test to my type of God.

While this happened, Obinna went and told this dibia that I was denying that I stole d fone. This man promised him that wud come to my house for public disgrace sinx I was denying stealing the fone.
The day obinna entered our room and informed my mum that dibia was coming to see me. My mum nearly fainted. She cried like her life was coming to an end. We knew the type of man this dibia is/was. We had seen his hand work bfo. Xpecially the case at Livyco company. He was/is a ruthless and devilish man. My sisters cried and my mum was always crying in our room.

The next day after monin mass, I met Fr Nath and told him that the dibia wanted to pay me a visit. Told him the man's plan of forcing me to confess and the kind of humiliation I wud be subjected to. Fr. Nath smiled, took me by hand and led to dia private chapel inside Father's house.. This chapel was for Rev. Fathers' perpetual adoration and prayer. He left me dia and told me to confess my sins directly to Jesus. He said I shld tell God everytin I knew abt the fone. The Blessed Sacrament was always exposed there perpetually.

Stepping inside dis chapel, I was filled awe of the chapel. The environment was sometin else. Even d lightening in dis chapel was magnificent. Very fantastic! Instantly I was overwhelmed with fear. I felt Jesus bfo me. I couldn't look at d direction of the Blessed Sacrament. I bent my face while kneeling. As I was abt praying, I broke down in tears. My cry was heavy that I couldn't even hear mysef. I started repeating those words again; " if I know anytin abt this fone, let my generation be forever cursed. But if am innocent, vindicate me. Proof my innocence" I cried for a long time while praying to Jesus. Finally I brought out my Rosary recited the sorrowful mystery.

When I came out from this chapel, Fr Nath gave his number that I shld call him if the native doctor ever comes to my house. I thank him and left d parish house.
Before I cud get home, my mum and sisters became so worried abt my way abt. I had over stayed d monin mass. They were scared. My mum said she her fear was I might commit suicide or been attacked. Because of this, she wud hardly allow me go out only me. It's either she went out wit me or one of sisters followed me. I never missed the psalms which Fr Nath gave me.
The stigma was out of this world. So many people knew me. I was an altar server in our parish in world bank. I was always met by people asking me "what happened"? "Is it true that they said u stole a phone?"

I was helpless. My family was in great distress. We resolved to calling upon the name of God.

But in everytin I say Glory and honour belong to that God who rescues d innocent.

On that day dis tin happened, I went straight to our church (Blessed Michael Tansi chapel , Aba) because I knew d battle wasn't for me or my mum. Fighting a native a native doctor? God forbid!!!
As I got to church, I met our Rev. Fathers abt goin out. Fathers Nath and Vin were new in d parish....just one week. Although I had served in Fr Vin's mass some days bak.
I narrated my story to them, and Fr Nath assured me that if I was sure I didn't take d fone, nothing was gonna happen.

He also told me to search my hrt and tell them d truth. That 3 people I can't lie to are my doctor, my lawyer and my spiritual director. After saying all these he gave me 4 chapters in d psalm (35, 51, 121 23) to be praying then prayed and blessed me wit an anointing oil. I started goin home.

The next day(sunday) being the 7th of october, (wow!! Great day) I went to church as usual. Although if u saw me, u wud knw I was depressed. After d evening devotion, I went bak to d Blessed sacrament to pray.
As I knelt down infront on d pew infront of d Blessed sacrament, I started crying bitterly. I cried so painfully while I was begging God to vindicate me. Many oda people who were also prayin inside d church stopped and started looking at me and wondering what was happening in my life.

If u listened to my cry, u wud knw I was bitterly hurt. I just couldn't say any word clearly. But I knew Jesus was listening and hearing me.
I remember telling God that "If I knew anytin abt that fone, let my generation be forever be cursed! But if am innocent, vindicate me, proof my innocence"
I said this particular word repeatedly still crying painfully. It was at dis point that one lady walked up to me infront of altar dia and started consoling me.

I kept crying and crying to d xtent she got emotional. She now brought out d ROSARY she was wearing on her neck and hung it on my own neck and walked without saying another word.
Immediately she left, I felt dis strange strength in me. I became suddenly fortified. I stopped crying crying instantly and was praying clearly. I now positioned mysef like. A baby who wants to start crawling and began praying my ROSARY!!!

When my eyes opened to reality, I realized I had been made a thief in broad day light. I didn't knw what else to do, I didn't knw those who wud truly believe our own side of the story.....that I was innocent.
I automatically bcame an outcast! People began to have double mind about what I cud do. Even those I tot were my frnds gradually withdrew their rapport with me.

It became d news everywhere in world bank housing estate Aba that I was a thief.
The worst tin was dt people believed obinna and his frnds sinx it came from a dibia. Almost every body in our estate knew abt this native doctor's legendary in incantations. Because in many occasions, when cases of theft were reported and he involved, the culprit always ended up "confessing" I remember a case at Livyco construction company. This is a big steel company that constructs fuel tanker along Aba-Ph express way. One day, a welding machine got missing. They invited this man, and he came, after many incantations, some workers in dis coy began to "run mad" with d feel of pepper in dia eyes. This tin didn't stop until they confessed. This dibia nickname is "Aka ose"......hand of pepper. His method is torturing the culprit wit the feeling of pepper in d person's eyes and body.

On d road, I cud hear people murmuring "is this d one who stole d fone"?
My mum on hersef wasn't spared. Those who were praying for our downfall saw dia greatest avenue to laff at us. People were never gonna stop asking her y her son cud steal d fone. Is it that she couldn't provide a fone for her only son? My sisters left dia studies at Imsu and came bak to Aba to stay with us. Then my eldest sister was abt writing her 4th MBBS exam at imsuth in orlu. The second one was a 300L student in d medical sku also at imsu. The third just got admission at unizik then. They all came bak!

We were facing the biggest trial of our life after our dad's death.

Their only brother was been accused falsely!!

Just came bak from October devotion at St. Dominic's Cath church.

Will be bak wit d story shortly.

Around 10:30am that same day, my mum called me from d market that I shld leave whatever I was doing and come to d market.

I was surprised. My mum wouldn't allow me come to d market. She wud always joke "leave the market for me, while av left d sku for u and ur sisters"
I rushed to d market immediately, only to observe that my mum's eyes were red swollen. She had been crying.
I didn't knw what happened, my mum couldn't talk because of tears.





I pleaded wit her to tell me what happened. I thought abt lot of tinz. I had 3 elders sistes in d uni. What cud av happened to them. Finally my mum talked to me. She said Obinna called her and asked her to tell me to bring out the fone or "something terrible will happened to me"
I didn't really understand that. She(my mum) continued sayin dt obinna and his frnd went to a native doctor and d man confirmed I stole d fone.

I still didn't knw what to say. I didn't see d fone. Infact, d night bfo this lost, I didn't see Obinna. He traveled and came bak very late. I had already slept by the time he was bak. My mum was still crying. She didn't believe him. But the fact that Obinna had involved a dibia, a soothsayer and my name was mentioned during his incantations scared life out of my mum.

The battle between the power of God and d power of darkness had begun. And it was gonna last for 20 days!

....When things happen in a way that makes us speechless, it's either we drop tears of while singing endlessly to God almighty or feel like doing "crazy" like shouting, jumping, dancing to songs of joy etc.

These were actually my situations and dt of every body in my family on d 26th of Oct, 2006. We're overwhelmed! The miracle was unexplainable. We didn't knw hw it happened. But we knew God almighty tru the intercession of The Blessed Virgin Mary had shown the fulfillment of his promises......."Never to allow innocent go down"

I may not have the right words to describe all that happened within these 20days, all am very sure is dt I was a "living corpse"
On the 6th of october 2006, being the first saturday of the month (month of Mother Mary), I made sure attended d morning mass which is always dedicated to Christian Women. (CWO saturday). As my mum and I were preparing for d mass around 5:30am, Obinna our neighbour entered our room and told my mum that he woke up and couldn't see his phone again.

Obinna with his dad and we were sharing a 3bedroom flat. So he was like frnd to us. Xpecially when d dad died, he retained dia room. We were very close. When he told my mum that his fone missing, we couldn't say or do much because we had already prepared for first saturday mass.

My mum told him to kip searching every in his room that he might have misplaced it somewhere in his room. We left.
From that morning mass, my mum went to d market. While I mysef stayed bak for saturday duties for altar servers.

Brothers av not forgotten. I promise to I won't fail tonite.

Working in d building industry and schooling at a go aint easy.

I still remember.
