To the best of my knowledge as regards this principle of profit sharing in Islamic banking/business law is profit sharing is for business, as in partnership, while interest is for loan - one lend out money to someone Intending to do business, bearing that the capital is yours, agreement is made on sharing formulas in the end and if the case is otherwise they both bear the loss subject to the deed of partnership and this is unlike interest.
And you don't expect Islam to deal with you the same way it deals with Muslim- why will one takes absolute advantage of system which one questions the divinity and vaidity of its origin.

Yes religion should not define one relationship with others in some respect.
Islam, in this regards is not an exemption.

My point is; he does not have to work in any bank at all if he cannot get an Islamic bank, or where is my guess going wrong? Also, refusing to work at an interest based bank becomes unislamic? Confusing.

@second bolded. What do you mean by sighted? If a muslim goes to a buka where only pork is sold, he can eat it just because the next buka is across the street out of sight? For your first question, if you could take your time and re-read the first two paragraphs,you would find answer to your question there.

The conditions that may legitimate Muslims using or working in interest based bank is the fact that (1)Nigeria is not an Islamic State where Islamic Banking System is being operated.(2)hardly can you find Islamic Bank in Nigeria. (3)unavailability of job (4)harsh economy.

So where do you expect Muslims to keep their money when there is none that suit their believe? that is conditional, and be that as it may, condition-wise, this does not present Muslims with the opportunity of receiving or taking interest, get what is yours as a customer and get paid for your labour as a worker.

Concerning Muslims working in interest based bank, the answer is already up there, if there is any other options that agree with the provision of Islamic Law then working in the former will/may become forbidden.
A Muslim may not have to work in a bank but what if that is the opportunity to cater for the family and seems only mean of surviving?. let's face the reality you know what's up with Nigerian graduates and job -that is one of the condition I was talking about.

And the word "sighted" in that content means rightful possession of something or the ability to.


And lastly, the Islamic Law is not easy to break.
In the contemporary society do you think,in case of a Muslim traveller, it will be so difficult to find or rightfully possess what is lawful that only the available food would be pork?NO
arguably, using pork as an example in case like this is needless, but this example still remain extant to underscore how a Muslim should strive to get what is lawful before laying hand on what is unlawful is deemed permissible.

I don't know what you mean by money creation. But the idea that it is fundamentally exploitative is an opinion and does not mean interest on loans is based on an intent to exploit the borrower.
Even the Bible is against collecting interest on loans. But you have to realize that Banking like other fields of expertise is not a religious creation. It is based on logical initiatives.
Most religious pronouncements on interest on loans talk about person to person loans not corporate loans as we have in banks.
That said, inflation can only be accounted for by interest. That's how it is.

Interest might not meant to exploit the borrower but unfortunately it does and that is the difference Islamic Banking System is trying to make and menace it strives to deplore.

As you also wrote up there that Bible discourages taking interest but not implemented and individualistic (why is that Christians' God command is for individual transaction instead of encompassing all Christian), Islam ensures it is not only on paper but implemented and enveloped all Muslims.

I get your point but we are looking at the strength of a particular animal,in different habitats. Lions kill crocs every time so using that analogy doesn't fit in. Crocs are never masters of the aquatic...hippos kill them even more easily than lions. Sharks are not jungle dwellers but apex predators in water,unlike crocs.

So look at it this way, a lion is master of the jungle but being an apex predator on land doesn't mean it would conquer an apex predator in water because even habitats aside, a shark would kill a lion,any day,any time.
