Its on your application form, everyone has it. Just before your Gwf number, When applying as a dependant you are asked to present either the GWF number, UAN or home office reference number of the main applicant. Hence your application is synchronised with theirs. Kalas

4. Anything that can serve as proof that the relationship is genuine and still subsisting.

Prior to Covid, in my experience, travel agents could get you discounts on fare for airlines such as Emirates, Qatar, Turkish and the rest, but not for airlines like Lufthansa, KLM, BA, etc. Travel agents also enable you to pay in naira.

However, these days, I would not book through a travel agent, because with all this covid nonsense, if anything goes wrong it is far far better to deal with the airline directly than through a travel agent.

I'm planning to travel to the UK to visit my girlfriend who's a British citizen and I have absolutely no idea where to start from.

Can someone suggest the first few steps to take? Please note that...

1. I've never travelled out of the country before
2. My intl passport expires in July
3. I work a 9-5 with a steady salary
4. I've not been vaccinated
5. I'll like to travel by February/March

It’s very important to note that it will take you not less than 10 yrs to settle down to life in the UK as you have to get trained on new skill to navigate the system.
Your Nigerian certificate is useless in UK and you have to face the start reality of getting a new skills(Nursing Degree or other health related courses) and as a result settle for something that will pay your bills and rent to support your wife.
The only jobs available for a new immigrant is security and menial jobs for the guys and health assistants for the ladies, however your wife will be the bread winner until you’re able to fit in to the system.
All will be well if you have a diamond of a woman in your wife.
The choice is yours but I wish you the very best as you’re welcome to the United Kingdom.
