Aprokodaughter: Apart from changing your location. You need to customize your job search.
For instance I am into Journalism and Public Relations. So if I am looking for jobs. I will customize it to entry and graduate jobs in my field. Secondly I will mention positions that relates to my field like communications, coordinator, writer, media content (if I want to be specific I will write tv content, radio content, news content).
Linkedin will start sending jobs not just in my location but the kind of jobs I want and the level.
Sometimes LinkedIn matches you with senior roles in your field that's if your LinkedIn profile is good.
Before I left Nigeria so Nigerian companies invited me for roles in my field but I could not respond since I don't have plans staying back. Many thanks I’ll heed your advice |

COMFORTeconz: Thanks so much for your response. I'm considering university of Hull, pls do you have an idea of the total budget we'll need. We only have about 4-5m in savings,I don't know if that will be enough for everything before we dabble into it 4/5M will probably not be enough for two people considering you will still need POF One person can go first and then assist the other with coming over I really dont know much about Hull but you can check for their group on telegram, check required deposit and other fees so you can arrive at a conclusion |

Hello All,
Is it a must I arrive in the UK on the date I specified during my app?
Can i go earlier, maybe 2 days before or 4 days after?
Checked ticket prices and it seems cheaper some days before and after
Kindly clarify
Thanks! |

COMFORTeconz: Please, I'm thinking of travelling to the UK for study next year with my husband. We just recently got married. He has been previously refused US study visa early this year. Does anyone have an idea of what our budget should be?. And Please recommend some cheap schools in the UK that can accept between 1k-2k deposit. Is it possible to do the whole thing myself without the help of an agent? US refusal no matter - i have seen someone on this thread who was refused S/A, US, Canada and still got his UK visa Cheap schools often end up being 'expensive' later - 1/2K deposit means you will have to pay some money before enrollment, maybe around 50% of course cost You can check Sheffield Hallam and Hull - sha avoid Teesside Uni so you no go get HBP while waiting for CAS You can do it yourself without an agent but most schools have agents who will help you get admission for free Ensure you do not submit false docs during your app for any reason Shalom! |

Afmaag123: It's swift but cash is okay. The bank staff will still go thru it and correct it. So it's no problem. LCs n BCs r usually for Form M. How can i go about it if i want maintenance funds in the UK for monthly upkeep? I am aware this can be done |

Aprokodaughter: You don't need to pay premium once you activate your LinkedIn notification.
Jobs will just start pouring into your notifications. You might get confused and tired because everyday there are companies posting jobs even on a Sunday. I saw my job on a Sunday morning. Some will review your cv on LinkedIn download it and contact you. Some will send you a DM on LinkedIn.
Most people are not persistent when it comes to job search in their field as long someone says there is no opportunity in that your field they have lost it. They won't bother searching again. They want to start a new degree which doesn't have to be the case. Is there anything about the notification? Or it’s the regular job alerts one receives in our email inbox from LinkedIn? I changed my location to London , England for a week and I received at least one message per day from recruiters Weird cos Nigerian recruiters barely ever send DMs LOL |

Pathokpo: Most of those claiming ex members are fucking lying eg Dr John Osazuwa alias stone. I still remember what this bastard did to me back then in uniben and what he said to me. Could you imagine that this man tore my script and told me to go do anything I want that he is a member of nbm and that if I am not careful enough he can make me disappear. Ending with the word 'this is UNIBEN'. I will never forgive him until the day I die |

FrankFrenzy: Good evening, Pls I need your kind opinion and suggestions concerning Study gap in my visa application. So Immediately after my NYSC in August 2015, i worked from September 2015 to July 2019 when I resigned and started a business in December 2019 till date. Though the said footwears outlet isn’t registered yet. Does this pose a threat to the success of my application? Nothing to worry about You can use the 2015 - 2019 one If you have any way to declare the business you started by way of a letter or transaction evidence 2 years isn’t a long time |

fatima04: If the husband has got skilled worker sponsorship then the cheaper scenario will be for the wife to come as a dependent and save the student fees and pursue other professional route. And if its studying at the end then home fees can apply at some point.
Losing a job with sponsorship can throw someone/family into turmoil and lots of uncertainty but they won't just say pack your load and go on the next flight, always a chance to look for other jobs within 90days or so and the experience already gathered will go a long way to help. Many Thanks for your input Didn’t even know about the 90 day part |
