Reasonably good and steady income.
You can buy a house on a student visa if you like, if you have the raw cash or some form of relevant income and can find a bank to give you a mortgage.

I remember when i posted here about buying my first mortgage just within 19 months of stay in UK, many folks were babbling, but look at what is happening now, with the new mortgage rules either you have ILR or 25% deposit, and house prices and interest rates are going up and up, even renting now is a nightmare.And someone will tell you not to rush, house prices will crash and interest rates will come down, bla bla bla, we are still waiting. I have always learnt to always go with my first gut no matter what anyone says, and it has helped me so far.

Middlesbrough is a small town and you know the stories behind small towns in terms of job opportunities. Newcastle and Sunderland are bigger than Middlesbrough. Newcastle to Middlesbrough is about 50 mins- 1hr. There are more job opportunities in Newcastle than both Sunderland and Middlesbrough. The hype around Middlesbrough is that Teesside tuition is cheap and affordable to most Nigerians

Others can give their opinion but personally, i would go with Salford.
1) Cost of living in Manchester is lower than in Hertfordshire which is in outer London.
2) Manchester is a big city with more opportunities compared to Hatfield where Hertfordshire is located (a friend schooled here and struggled with student job around Hertfordshire)
3)UWE (Bristol) is almost same in terms of job and cost of living as Manchester, but their fees is slightly higher than Salford, so i would go for Salford.

The death of my biological mother made me thrown out this question, "why do bad things happen to good people?".

Since last year, my mom has been down with strange illness. We took her to the hospital, done necessary check up and all, doctor prescribed different medications which she took accordingly, yet not significant improvement.

Most importantly, why do God allowed bad things to happen to Good people?
