Vicas2000: You can actually get admission without IELTS. SImply upload your WAEC/NECO result and also attach your Uni transcript (if your 100 level has a unit course on English language).
And you can ask your school to write you a letter that your course was taught in English. That will help also. Facts |

LagosismyHome: This the fundamental problem with Nigeria . It is not corruption but deep rooted wickedness/ evil.
Some stories are just so disturbing and you wonder how did we get there as a society. If we had even just stopped at corruption it would have been redeemable....
Goodluck to those still hoping say e go better Imagine looting indomie and sugar meant for the masses who are mostly poor during a pandemic..

If the UK is anywhere as corrupt as Nigeria me and you will not be living in this country today. What's happening in Nigeria is plain wickedness.. E don pass corruption |

NarnieAceTech: I just started the job. There's no way I can go AWOL. I'll be seriously queried or worse, fired.
I don't know how many days the screening exercise will take. If it's a day or two, I guess I can spin out something. Im not saying AWOL, you can form sick and inform your manager or something If you kuku have an accident, it's not like you will still be able to work anyways |

NarnieAceTech: Well, i can say I'm 80% sure I'd get the job after the screening exercise. My credentials are all intact, I'm sure I did pretty well with the CBT exam. Last time I carried out a medical test, I was certified OK and fit. Take a few days leave from your bank job, go for the screening exercise and wait to see if they'll call you up Simple |

Chloraseptic: You sacked an old man with experience and started employing rookie coaches and you want the club to move forward...
Employing EPL former players will always be a disaster, they know nothing about coaching. All they are good at is running their mouth analysing coaches and players..
Lampard, Neville, OGS, Arteta, Scholes, Giggs and Henry have all been a failure so far..
I'm still observing Gerrard. Zidane, Guardiola and Simeone are former players Klopp and OGS.. OGS is doing alright given the amount of work that needed to be done at Utd You dunno nothing bro |

SamReinvented: And to make matters more interesting... while indeed Nigerians do a lot of romance scams (fooling a random white woman/man with love), the "Nigerian Prince" scam that got us famous is in fact not done by Nigerians...most of that scam format came from westerners, who just taught it'd be cool to use the name of the prince of some "rich" African country to make money using the middle east format.
No real Nigerian would use the word "Nigerian Prince", cos we all know kings and princes are within village/town jurisdictions, not at National level. Which is not surprising, how every single "Nigerian Prince" scammer that has been caught till this date has turned out to be a white American. Weird but true |

Iamdbull: I moved from Abuja to a popular local town in ogun, I don't want to mention the name, in order to pursue my music career.
First of all let me explain something, sometimes as human beings to keep the spirit healthy you need people superior to you or people of higher value to draw energy from or to draw inspiration or an environment that excite and brings live to you or make you alive.
Now that's the problem am facing currently, there are no too many well to do young people in my environment, I can decide to stroll from one street to another and like 10 people would have begged me for money, I went to chicken & co ( it's a fast food outlet like kfc or chicken republic) and I was stopped and harassed by police just because I bought food at a fast food joint. They were asking me what I do for a living. What saved me that day was that I was dressed in some faded clothes, i can't dress nicely because everyone will start hailing and begging me for money and as an introvert I hate unnecessary attention, the ones that don't beg for money will try and engage one in some meaningless side talks that will lower your I.Q.
The ones that are okay are Yahoo boys and I can't relate with them. It's really getting depressing, I can't remember when last have had a highly intellectual conversation. Everyone just seems so rigid and unexposed and it's tiring. I am not really sound and exposed myself now imagine people reducing the little I.Q I have. It's so depressing.
Naturally you Will expect me to move from there but the nearest place is Lagos which will have to be on island because I hate noisy environment and you know how expensive that will be. Am so tired and fed up Move to Abeokuta or Osogbo Find one GRA rent... Its cheap Infact, na you go dey beg people to visit you cos no one go send you |
Family › Re: Help!!! My Environment Is Draining Me Psychologically. by hustla(m): 9:25am On May 13, 2021 |
doggedfighter: Move to Oshogbo.
Steady light, quiet and peace of mind.
Or you can brave Lagos.
And see if you will blend in their madness and smells. Best advice Or he should goto Abeokuta.. Find one nice GRA there.. Finish |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: How Did You Get Your First Remote Job? by hustla(m): 9:22am On May 13, 2021 |
SmartMugu: Well, the poor reputation may be an advantage in regards to cybersecurity roles. The reason is that it takes a criminal to apprehend a criminal. Its all based on the concepts of black hat vs white hat. So, if a firm thinks Nigerians are behind the repeated security attacks, they may prefer to hire a Nigerian that will help them permanently resolve that threat.
Same way firms queue up for imprisoned hackers to be released so they can quickly hire them. To neutralize a hacker, they need a better hacker. 100% facts |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: How Did You Get Your First Remote Job? by hustla(m): 8:41am On May 13, 2021 |
SmartMugu: I cant tell much about Cybersecurity jobs from Nigeria because I dont live there and don't know much happening there after being here for almost two decades now, but I think there are strong possibilities, especially now that the world is dealing with covid-19 and everyone is working remotely. If Indians living in India still get cybersecurity jobs with major firms in different parts of the world, then Nigerians in Nigeria should not be left out. Like I said, I had friends in Nigeria working in the IT space for firms all around the world, but not in the Cybersecurity line, but most of them have now left Nigeria. Its ok, you can PM me. Cheers The India part is true but their reputation is still better than that of Nigerians Okay, will send a PM |
