slimanyd: Evening comrades. Is it okay to buy cloths from Nigeria rather than buying it over there in UK. Which is cost friendly and has better advantage. You can buy jeans in 9ja and casual ones here |

bigtt76: You can't get a share code without BRP 🤷🏿♀️ This was the reason we argued the need for dependents to apply at least 6 months before MA visa lapses. BRP is not issued for less time left on MA visa or less visa duration but hey what do we know. True. I remember seeing it on here that one had the same issue last yest .. Before the visa expires or before the main applicant's schooling is done? That's one part I want to be sure of 1000% Think it makes sense to just come in 6 months before anything to avoid stories that touch |

GigLad: Please bosses in the house, I have a little problem. I just got to the UK as a dependent last month and my wife (main applicant) visa expires in May.
Ever since, I have been looking for jobs even if it’s cleaner or factory work but due to the fact that I have no BRP and no experience working in the UK, most of the these companies are not giving me job. The reason for not having BRP as stated by UKVI is because I entered UK in less than 6 months to the visa expiration date and the reason why it was so is because I was in my finals here in Nigeria, I had to finish school before joining my partner. I asked this question about one week ago as regards entry to the UK Did they accept or ask for share code? |

rinzylee: Nothing much I know of asides better remuneration, better standard of living, healthy work load for Medical personnel.
I am not a nurse though, but I know nurses earn well in Australia without having to do 100hr shift per week.
It's really a personal thing at the end of the day. |

Insultme: 😂😂. It's just funny though that am laughing. And the reason is because when you get to a certain stage in life ehn, and you're comfortable, you will understand everything no be gra gra. You need to be diplomatic about things. That by the time you call a family meeting, you have all the Ace's with you. If I confront her now and it turns to argument and she calls the police, and I was sent packing. It is same you that would say I should have waited for a perfect time. UK no be Nigeria that you can just send her packing no questions asked. Think think and think. LOL Smh |

Insultme: Let me fast forward the gist before it gets bored. That was how she Sha did throughout 2022, by middle of every month, salary Don finish and she would borrow money from me again to pay Klarma and do house groceries. Now this year, she said she wanted to go clubbing with her colleagues at work and I said no problem. They started calling each others to know which club or where to meet. Eventually when it was around 10pm. Someone called her and told her that the venue was under renovation so she couldn't attend the party.
In February this year, we're at home together that day and She told me she wanted to stroll out. I said no wàhálà and she left, then she called me like after an hour that I did not even look for her, I said why should I, you have your bus pass, your phone is charged and you know how to use the map, so you can't get lost. And we joked about it, and she said she is even at Salford Shopping centre now ( Not the real location). I said OK. Then after like 2 hours she got home and came home with 3 female bags. Did she have her own job while in Nigeria? |

Maureen4sure: My dear fellow Nairalander,
Greetings to everyone.
My name is Maureen.
This is my story; please, I need every little advice and suggestion.
I've been in the UK since January of last year on a student visa.
To get straight to the point, I failed one of my modules and also failed to resit, all not due to my fault. Where in the UK are you? If Cos doesn't come in time, your husband can switch to study and you to dependent |
