The problem is their food. Most of their foods are less and less organic and have too many chemicals as processed foods.

The new trend that they are championing now is Alternative Meats or Plant-Based Meats because some so called vegans don't like killing animals or the sight of it. What this means is that they are going to turn plant into meat-like texture and when I tried to check up how to they are going to achieve it, it was all chemical here and there.... I just closed my tab on PC and did other things with my time lol.

What you didn't include is the fact that twitter users keep growing in Nigeria yearly and in few years to come, Nigeria will be among the top 5 target market for twitter. so it will be safe for them to fix the issues out with the government.

What is the use of people occupying your house without paying rents? Nigerians go there for cruises and nothing more. Twitter only recently started ads on there and even with increasing Nigerians on there, conversion there is poor... only a few companies use them to drive awareness and I do not see that changing in a long run... except that change their model to fit the eCom business.

Twitter does not need Nigeria... Giant of AFRICA is farce and should be discarded. Nigeria is not the big uncle these useless elites deceive you with... small ghana is running them street on economical scales lol... you don't wanna know goods from Nigeria being exported via Ghana due to our fukked up ports.

as a digital marketer and media buyer, I will say it is a lie borne out of ignorance. Nigeria is not even in top 20 of its target market. Jack understands that his platform gives voice to the oppressed.

Nigeria has one of the lowest purchasing power in her history right now and twitter is not so good for eCommerce ads. You will have better results by paying some people (called influencers) to tweet your business than paying twitter that money cos the former has better conversion than paying Jack... in essence, you will lose more money if you pay Jack.

Facebook has better conversion than twitter and that is the preferred platform for media buyers as we know we will make back our money IF we pay Mark...

After forth and back about deciding what Skills to learn and what to do with my life, I decided to learn some skills (even though it will served as a side hustle). The skills I want to learn is video editing/ Graphics design. I choosed them based on interest.
Now my question here now is, Are the skills worth investing resources and time to learn?
Will I be able to get customer's to earn from ?
Will it be possible to learn both skills simultaneously?

And pls I do realize that some people have things that they don't use again and instead of giving them out they tend to stack it away in the store or basement. For me to achieve my aim I wish someone would help me out with his/her laptop that is no longer at use whether faulty or not, it will go a longer longer way in helping start up.

It is a good plan. in your graphics design journey, add UI/UX to the plan. In your video editing journey, add 3d animation to the plan and think global market, not Nigeria. You will thank me later.

I can't believe I'm still broke after all the efforts I have put in to making money both online and offline. May be because I'm not following my God's gifted talent. Among others I can do, I can write fictional stories a great deal. The inspiration comes naturally always. Right now, I can develop up to 100 stories that can be scripted into blockbuster movies. Also, I have written not fewer than 500 short stories for comedy skits. Most of these stories, if even just one of them is shot into comedy video has the potential to bring the actors to limelight. Financing all these stuff is my problem hence the need for this thread. I wouldn't mind selling some of them to interested stories.

What are your advice and suggestions? How do I make from these writings?

You need skills to get ahead in Nigeria today and you can choose various skills. Most of my skills are digital skills.

However, you need one that is IN SYNC with your personality--one that you love

For a very young guy which I presume you are:

1. Make YouTube your number one resource for learning anything you want. Learn as much as you can, read as much as you... very very very important.

2. I would suggest learning digital skills as mentioned below and the reason is that it decentralizes your opportunity and makes you limitless.

a: Programming: Learn website design in coding languages like HTML, CSS, Jave Script...

b: Learn graphics design.

This one is also very good. The more you improve the more your chances of getting paid higher sums. Graphic designs is deployed for posters, Tshirts, large format printing, ID cards, business cards, TV promotions and so on.

One new trend of graphics design that can help pivot you in the website development mentioned above is UI/UX.

Having a skill here (UI/UX) means you can design what a website or app can look like, and you get to determine the feel and appeal of users. UI is simply "user interface" and a user interface is the skin, colour and features of the website or app, the feel and the appearance, just like the skin of your body. People will always judge you based on your looks and appearance as a human. A guy with beautiful skin and handsome face will always attrack girls and vice versa. It is same thing with UI/UX

C: Learn Video Editing:
The application of this is endless. People need videos to send messages in different from. we love entertainment, we love movies, we watch music videos and so many many more. To get a hang of basic video editing skills, please install INSHOT app on your phone and start basic editing with just your phone so that when you transition to PC, it won't be so hard for your to understand.

After you have gotten that, please find a PC software that you feel comfortable with, go to youtube and learn each aspect of video editing as it relates to the chose software. This makes it easy.

For instance, I use Filmora 9 for my basic video editing. Assuming I want to learn how to make people disappear in a video, I will go youtube and search "how to make object disappear in flimora 9" there will be many results that will hit me. Many will of them are often very useful.

Let me also point out that video editing and graphics design is not HARD... na just "point, drag, drop and click" be most of the processes involved and some hacks that you will learn as you progress. There are already templates that makes most of the visual effects super easy.

D. Learn digital marketing: This one is about how the whole or most parts of the internet business functions. From content marketing, to email marketing , to copywriting, to sales pages, to landing pages, to squeeze page, to social media marketing to media buying, blogging, SEO, PPC etc... it is large but there are course that helps with each.

One good thing that I love about digital marketing is that you can use this skill to propel any offline business and out perform current players. There is nowhere you can't deploy digital marketing to help any business... especially in sector that has no monopoly ( as most business in Nigeria have a sort of monopoly with one man calling the shot). The goal of business is to make sales and digital marketing makes that possible.

You can also use your digital marketing skills to help programmers and webdevelopers sell their products... knowing how to sell and the tools needed to make that happen is an undisputable skill.

Now for offline skills: You can learn tiling, POP or electrical works etc. They are in high demand but with digital skills, you can use social media paid marketing techniques to out perform most of the guys in the sector.

So let me leave you with last advice that a respected friend gave me... "If you can't fly, run; if you cant run, walk; if you cant walk, crawl... but never be stagnant"

P.S.: let me add that anothe digital skill that you might need is Power Point, MicroSoft Words (beyond the basics), Excel and Spreedsheets. very very important and in demnd in the corporate world. Use YouTube to handle this and learn it all.

Just do you, bro. Acquire skill, be smart... the thing is, an average Nigerian girl date based on finance because of the economic situation of the country, while there is nothing wrong with that, using it to ridicule someone just because they ask you out is the height of disrespect.

You see, money in the bank is not the true test of the wealth of a man but the knowledge he has. I say this because some men get one lucky lottery hit and start flaunting it. You will think that they are really rich. When they lose that money, it is often hard to rise up again because they didn't really understand wealth creation. Now, a girl who meets such a man would use it to judge you who isn't up there yet. If you are working on a better project, she wouldn't know because of the instant gratification that she seeks.

Money comes and goes... but these Nigerian women are not interested in that. It is all about money now now now. A guy who would have made over 300M in his lifetime is currently owing me just 50K. After dragging so much, the wife had to open to me that dude is broke. My joy is, i know his wife had a genuine love for him and it was not the money she saw because he didn't pay much attention to her initially but she stood.

There are also men with money but with very very bad character, such that women who end up with them can't live, can't leave or can't do anything but live in frustration because of the money.

In 2019 when Tinubu was interviewed for herdsmen attack in South West, his response was "is Evans a herdsman"?, taking a swipe at Igbos as usual. What has Evans, who only kidnapped Igbo men, got to do in a conversation that involve killer herdsmen.

In same. 2019 before the election, Tinubu's wife on camera saw an Igbo man who was busy selling his product in the street of Lagos, called him to interrogate the innocent man upon finding out that he is Igbo, she said "we don't trust you people"

During that election, Tinubu sent his boys to attack Igbos, harass them, beat them, close their shops, disenfranchised them FROM VOTING...
