The whole Afghanistan affair was done poorly and in bad taste, living billions of weapons to the enemy just because trump initiated the evacuation.
Just because Trump initiated the withdrawal doesn’t mean he has to go through with it so soon. He seems like a follow-follow leader, a weak leader and presidents of other nation can sense it and won’t hesitate to take advantage.
Also I am absolutely trump would have handled the withdrawal much better with hot sanctions if they mess up
