Exactly bro, We really need to take out that mentality that there is no job. I know of a first-class from EKSU that stayed back in Ekiti and hoping jobs will come. This dude is so brilliant but stayed at Imole-ekiti praying and hoping that someday Shell will be so nice to come hand over a letter to him at home. I told him to move over to Lag and let's explore every opportunity, guess what my guy is now with KPMG chopping life. We need to know that first class is not the end itself but a means to the end and we should not just rely on white-collar jobs alone

It is true that the economy is bad and we have few jobs but the fact is that there are still jobs out there and other opportunities beside white-collar jobs. I will still reiterate what i said earlier that a true first-class in numerate courses shouldn't find it hard to get a job to manage with. It requires dedication, determination, courage, and passion to get a first class, hence, same energy should be channeled to every opportunity. This is my opinion and i am not forcing it on you.

We are littered all over the state of the federation. I also came out top of my class. But i don't decieve myself i have no one to run to concerning job. Getting a job on merit isn't feasible anymore in this clime. Particularly, government jobs.

I recently got a transcription job. I'm likely to lose the job due to my inability to get a system.

I'll be rounding off my service soon. Yet no job in sight. Got some cool business ideas, don't have access to loan

If you are a true first class student and you know your onions, trust me getting job should not be hard. I made first class and i have gotten more than 6 offers in the past 3 years, infact i just got one with almost 500k net but contemplating on accepting because i am enjoying my current place and i have not spent upto 6 months.
If you actually worked for it and you are smart getting job to manage should not be hard. I am not there yet but i know with time i will.
Don't lose hope and keep trying every opportunities (business).

The fact is that the higher you earn the more you spend. When i was earning 140k i used to think i will be fine once my pay moves to 300k but now with above 300k i still grumble.
