The doctrine of Separation of Powers which is well enshrined in our constitution knows no basis for such request by The President once he had sent the proclamation to the Clerk of The National Assembly. The APC should know how to whip Saraki and Co. in line. Should he switch parties he'll lose his seat - the Supreme Court has made that abundantly clear. Folks must play politics with their integrity intact - that, to a large extent, is what party supremacy is about.

The problem with Osibanjo is that he has no political clout. Obasunjo could not ride Atiku because Atiku had a lot of weight as the leader of PDM. What political structure has Osibanjo got? Could he have won the counsillorship of his ward before he became VP? Osibanjo is just seen as 'Tinubu norminee'

I initially rooted for Saraki's emergence up till his "coup" yesterday before it finally dawned that his obsessive desire to "serve" Nigeria at all cost is predicated on his numerous upcoming cases and the immunity the office will grant him while allowing him amass a massive "war chest" for his future ambition.

All he has suceeded in achieving is to "Atikulize" himself; more than enough money but little to no credibility to garner the needed support beyond his primary domain..

With his initial n-PDP drama & recent APC "coup", he has lost every goodwill from the streets!! When the dust settles he'll see that he won the war but lost the battle... No how this will ever wnd well!!!
