NwaAmaikpe:
shocked

Abike Dabiri explains why I don't trust women.

This single mother schemed her way up into the juicest newscasting position in NTA, and replaced the legend Frank Olize in hosting Newsline.
She schemed her way into the minds of the people with the useless Miracle baby story.

Not done, she ensured she covered juicy VIP functions, ensured she visited governors and covered their exclusives
Next thing, she became a politician and has remained in the corridors of power.

She is also a story of hope... A lady who from interviewing the great has become the great.
From the lounges of NTA to the corridors of power.
She has also schemed her way further by hitching her son with a governors' daughter.

Fear women.
and what is your problem with that? Is it a crime to hustle ni?

Saying Lugard did not consult you is baseless at this point becos colonial masters do not consult anyone, do not seek opinion of anyone, if you do not want their control, you have the option to stage war against them. Dictatorship has almost identical attributes as colonialism.

But this is 2017, in a democracy. Even if for the best of intentions, I deserve that courtesy. that you feel I shouldn't be consulted in matters that directly affects me shows the kind of regard you have for me. ,,You are obviously a kid who doesn't know the implications of such actions.

No one is satisfied the way Nigeria is headed and will love something way better but taking a wholesome decision ad this without regards to my sensibilities is an affront.
It's every unfortunate that Igbos haven't seen the reason why people are screaming "We are not Biafran" If Afam4Ever could be the only one that graphically captures the true reasons why other regions are screaming we are not Biafra.it's a sad situation really. In this year and time, everyone deserve some sort of respect, no matter what.

It's a simple thing but the arrogance and stubbornness of an average igbo man is nauseating. How dare you say people shouldn't be consulted before lumping them in a map in an exercise that will determine the course of their destiny? Should the table be turned, would an igbo man take such? Certainly not!

If you dare quote me and talk nonsense I will tear you to pieces right here cos I take no prisoner.

I stand for equal right of my fellow human. We are humans before we are Igbos or Yoruba or Hausa.

You guys are stinking arrogant and stubborn and you can take that to the bank. I never for once imagine people I share same bloodline with could be this nonchalant towards his neighbours until I started reading comments on nairaland.

God will definitely see you through. Your case is better, at least ur parents are still alive, what of us that our parents died donkey years ago grin

Help is on the way. Don't give up
Abi o. We that lost our parents long ago, dad 06 and mum 08. I have been living life with no worries. I try to keep informed and learn different bizness that can fetch me money. From 50k to 500k. Anything at all.

Since people are also looking for ways to make money and acquire skills, I am going to use all I know start a seminar hall soon by God's grace.

I have a friend who does plumbing and he is always working, working working.

I on the other hand I look for ways to strike deals collect money from people by coming up with ideas.

If not for the situation of the country as money isn't flowing, may be I would have walked away solid 7 figures after coming up with idea to supply product that is not readily available in Nigeria. But the deal didn't click cos the man we wanted to deal with didn't have the money readily available as well, I think he too is expecting money from somewhere as well.

I sat down one day I noticed that most of the things we use in Nigeria today are imported and the pioneers made lots of money. Imagine the guy who introduced Standing Fan into the country, the man who introduce pure water and so on, these guys made lots of money. So I came up with same model and I have so many products in my archive that are currently not in Nigeria right now.

What I am trying to say is that what you learn determines what you earn. If you are always broke, like I often told someone, it means you are offering the world little to no value. You have to give something to get money. So what do you have to give? Do you have skill?

Money only answereth those people who solve problems. Help people solve problems and you will hardly go broke. Solve problems. Solve problems, solve problems, solve problems. Always be on the look out for problems, Always be on the look out for problems, ones you can solve and that is the only way money will come to you.

Some people always scream of one problem or the other. It was last year while people were screaming of Tomatoes shortage that a Nairalander dived in with his money going around the country to source for it and cashed out big. He even travelled to Cameroon. Again people are screaming FIN( Female in Nigeria) and MIN (Male in Nigeria) with both members attacking themselves and a friend told me to help him with a link to both groups. You might think he wants to join in the frenzy of complaining but dude is strictly out for business to take advantage of the groups by virtue of what they will reveal into groups. I was also in a convo on facebook when some people were complaining that they want to add weight. Mind you there are companies such as weight loss companies make money from helping people loss weight. There are others that focus on weight gain as well and they exist because people are in need of these things, they exist because there is a problem so they position themselves as the SOLUTION.

OP, if you are serious, take my advice. Start with Cleaning services. Be serious. Trust me it pays. Do some googling and see that people need this service in high demand. I even parked sand from gutter at one time and all for just 1 thousand naira. I did with with empty stomach. After that, considering my academic abilities, I was able to do home tutor for a few weeks before going back to complete my education. I even engaged in exam malpractices for some olodo students back then. I wrote their maths, english, chemistry and physics... I was almost caught at one time if not that I told the guy managing us that I don't want to go to that center as it was too open. That same day, authorities from ministry of education came around. So If OP can do home tutor ( no need for capital sef, just ur brain and time) handle as much as 3 kids in a week, he can make 30 per month if he charging them 10k each. There are guys doing this. Some even charge as much as 20k per child and it's possible. Anything education is a money spinner. I swear you would make money. In fact this is one of the business that you do not even need start up capital. You can take it further by getting the jobs from people and getting other smart and intelligent guys to handle while you take a percentage of their monthly proceeds. For instance, you charge a client 15k per child, you can take 7k per child and give your staff 8k. Now imagine that you have 20 clients. That is 7,000 X 20 =140,000 per month. You do this WITHOUT doing the heavy works aside getting more clients.i was being paid 8k in 2010 so I believe today it should be higher. If I wanted to take it further, I could work 3 others and earn 24k.

You have to solve problem. When people say they are broke, they are not really broke financially. They are just broke in terms of skills.

OP, I don't have money to give you but I am sure I have given you something that if you key into, you will never go broke in your life again.

Guseh:
I met the babe during our final SIWES supervision in Abuja and that was 2nd semester 300L. We were to resume back to school the following week for our final year(400L) session.
So, we(siwes students in Abj) where all require' to meet at a point for the final supervision. On getting to that location, i noticed her and saw some cool qualities in her.
As a guy man now, i swiftly made a move...introduce myself to her, got her contact and at the end of the whole stuff i paid for her Tfare back home.

I kept intouch with her immediately we resumed for our final year session. Fixed a date and made my feelings known to her.
She proved hard to get throughout our 400l 1st semester, but during our 2nd semester... she invited me to her lodge, showed me some pics and singled out a guy in those pics as her boyfriend. I was deeply hurt because my love for her had already move to a different level.

I got home that very and chose not to ever disturb her, but we still talk' on phone, chats and she paid me a visit on two accasions before we graduated.

She later confessed to me after we graduated that she had an issue with her boyfiend even before we graduated and that was why she paid me those visits and that she was really into me.

At that time i was in Abj while she's in Lagos. I consider some factors which includes my new girl friend and long distance.
But i was mad at her because of the distance, she did not tell me her true feelings while we where still in school.

You know people often feel something but express something else and i hate such people!
So, i have learnt the art of sayin nothing in such a way that it leaves nothin unsaid.

The long distance was a no no for me. during our service year i did not tell her the state i was posted to due to the fact that it was quite close to her own.

She did something special on my birthday, she organized her fellow corp members, they composed a birthday song for me and sang it to my hearing via phone. She made my day with that song though, but this time i was already in love with my Cherish and on a state of no turning back.

You can relate this with the Op's story, right?
Cc: piroux
Lol, was she expecting you to read her mind? Anyway, do not blame her much because she was just being a loyal girlfriend which i think is a plus. It is sad that she chose the wrong guy... they always do anyway. It was just stupid not to let you know that she was now free. She wasn't bold enough to get what she wants and lots of women in Nigeria are in that category.

On the other hand, it might just be regrets speaking lol.

What i just want is someone that is not selfish... treat me as I treat you, 50-50 and she will certainly get the best from me... I trust myself that much.

Most of them are evil bro...ani less than a week we broke up, she started flaunting she and the new guy's pics on every of her socials...naso i just sit down dey look...This was someone i cared for...at a point, i accommodated her(for close to a year) when she had no place to live/sleep...fed her, clothed her, got stuffs for her...she'll even bring her friends home to wine/dine and i'll gladly receive them...just to mention a few i did for her...chai...since then ehn, to even give a babe 1naira outta my hard earned money na die..i'll rather give a beggar or better still, help my fellow Man...Reasons why if i'm asking you out and you expect me to start spending money for you like Dangote., omo na OYO you dey...Heaven knows i don't give a fu.ckk about them again..if you wanna stay, you're welcome...if you no wan stay, you're free to leave...Experience they say, is the best Teacher...
Yeah, at a point, I didn't want to give any girl money or things anymore. In fact, I hate women for 3 years cos of her. Such a selfish and heartless human... if my life had been miserable and hers flamboyant, she would be the one mocking me today.

But God saw my heart was pure and made sure he made a miracle out of me.

Same here bro!...i also a have similar story to share...after we broke up, i was still stylishly pleading for us to come back but within a week, she already moved on to another guy...started posting their(both) pictures on facebook...writing "My boo", going out on dates...i moved on and deleted everything about her(pictures, social networks, numbers et all)..i Locked up...fast forward three-four months after, babe started calling my me..checking up on me...ah no even send am again...she started calling and telling me about how i forgot about her and how i don't even care for her anymore..i just dey look...then she broke the bombshell sometimes this year(after 2 years oo) saying she wants us to come back blah blah...that ever since we parted ways, she's been finding it hard to settle for someone like me blah blah...i didn't even answer her...me sef don move on!
grin grin grin grin that kind "move on" dey sweet eh. U go just increase the gear to gear 1 so that u can move on faster. My own eh... i suffered. That girl is wicked.. as in very wicked. Mine happened same time i lost my mum. imagine having a heart break and also losing ur mum.. na die be that i swear. Something I will never wish even my own enemy because the pain will be too much to bear and handle.

When I would send her some money, she would say how much did i even send to her sef.. money that transport to atm has consumed... she would use airtime i send her to chat and send love text to her then idiot.

cos she knew i love her, she would start with quarrel and tell me that if i want her to forgive me, i should send her money... as in, i was completely being used like a rag.

But fast forward to 2 or 3 years later, na she dey beg. a girl that HARDLY said sorry.... she even offered sex to appease me and i rejected it. I dealt with her in my own way until she became frustrated. People i shared this story with still don't understand why i couldn't forgive her. A lady even said girls like that were the best to give a second chance... but to me, they do not deserve a second chance because if that life had favoured her, she would be going about saying it was good she dumped me...that I am this or that.

over the years, what gave me confidence is the fact i know my kind is VERY VERY VERY rare. I know what I can do for a lady that the next 7 guys she would meet will NEVER do.

so in retrospect, she probably sat down and reviewed her life to pick me as the ONLY genuine guy he gave her things at will without asking for sex unlike what all other guys she met did with 4 months of meeting them.

I learned she now goes to church... a girl that hardly went to church back then.

A lot of Nigerian girls are not wired to appreciate a guy that gives them things without stressing them. Those who appreciate such caring guys, check them well, they may have been dealt with so badly by some bad boys. Like this ex i talked about... if she ever meet (i don't think she has been so fortunate after kicking me out) a guy like me again, she will be the most SERVILE fox to ever grace mother earth such that even if the guy slap her, she will smile like a goat at the slaughter.

I don't feel pity for such girls bro... they brought whatever befell them. What they do not know is that good people are very few in this world while the rest are just selfishly looking out for their own interest.

A girl that once told me i am not handsome and that i do not plan ahead (meaning i have no future) is same person that told her brother that if he saw me now, he wouldn't be able to recognize me again and same person that opened her mouth said i am not fat oo. i have added weight and look more handsome.

That babe have been begging since 2011-2016 and if she can use juju to have me back, she will do it cos life has really done wonders to her life and brain. I remember i bought a phone for her. even after we broke up, despite the fact that she was dating someone else, she was still using that phone 2 years after. I bought the phone new, bought a new line and added airtime to it and paid courier to deliver it to her. Very ungrateful human being. I lost count of the times she asked me if i still love her or if she can still have me back lol. She even said it that i have changed... and i told her that when i was good, did she like me? My only regret was being too cool with her and since then, that cool dude was buried. I don't waste time to call bullshiit these days though and my folks wonder why i have changed to someone with a reactive hot temper.. that is what life does to you when your asss is screwed and forked... no thanks to elements such as an evil ex lol

sorry it came too long..

ur above statement is born out of lack of experience n suggests ur very young. A daughter in law in the first place should NEVER make her mother in law perceive that she's not welcomed in her aons home.... Any woman that ever does that is senseless. Wen it happens to u, u will understand that u won't keep away from ur children's houses no matter what their spouse thinks. I pity any woman who will try to make my mother uncomfortable in our house or chase away my own relatives cuz I won't ever speak about that, I will simply erase her family from my memory n ban them from coming to my house...

I pity young girls of today, They are just out to destroy homes. Both my grannies moved to our house and lived with us till they died, my mother brought them both n took care of dem till the very end.

Wake up all of u, Allow the African mentality, it's better than ur recent European n American mentality u people incorporated n it's presently destroying this society.
I have read your comments and I can guess you are one of those very bonded to your family. My observation within Family section suggest that a lot of people are not so bonded or close in their family.
