not at all, I'm guessing genetics has something to do with his growth so feeding won't solve the problem but it'll help at least.

I heard from breeders that some breed of dogs, add height b4 body mass. Esp BB, CC, BM.

this is very true, those breeds in particular grow in that way.
even my dog didn't add much body mass till he was about 8 months.
the body mass started coming from that age and he increased over time, now he's over a year old and he's still growing.
large- giant sized dogs grow slower than smaller breeds.
your dog will probably not reach it's full size till it's about 3yrs old unlike smaller dogs that are fully grown at 1yr.

Chicken broth, as no dog will say no to chicken broth.
To my greatest suprise, Xena suprised me, she turned down on derica of kibbles mixed with chicken broth.
I was like "na shakara bdis, u go chop when u hungry" buh my girl left it to spoil.
I still tried it 2nd and 3rd time, same thing applies.
Menh i wasted 3derica of diamond kibbles.

Then i served my girl chicken broth separately, she smashed it.

I served her with diamond kibbles mixed with dry meat, she did justice to it.

Then i comfirmed that xena don't like her kibbles wet.

So far, xena is just on dog food, the first time i tried introducing rice, she rejected it.
Pls if there is any special way of preparing any palatble meal for dogs, i am keen to learn.

Then on the part of fruit.
I am yet to identify the fruit she loves, tho i never started it early, the first and only time, i introduce carrot, she just piecesed and played with, same as apple.
I am open to adopt any measure to meet up to any standard.

Note that i still give her boiled egg,

try to stop leaving her plate with food every time.
that also reduces appetite, some dogs when they notice that food is always available, they see eating as a luxury and not a necessity

take away her food every time she doesn't want to eat it and don't give her food again till she's hungry hours later, with time she'll learn to eat when she see food because she doesn't know when she'll see it again.
that's the method I use for my dog, he doesn't even see his feeding bowl except it's meal time, and once he walks away then I'm sure he's satisfied because he eats everything at once since he knows I'll take it away in a few minutes.
I just bring the food, drop it and take it away after 15 minutes(that's enough time for any dog to eat).

they all cost about 3k-3500 for 100 tabs each
my favourite right now is canine tab because it's more concentrated than the rest.
with canine tab I use only 1tab as the adult dose
vitapet adult dose is 2tabs while vetzyme adult dose is 4tabs.
they all have the same composition,price and work so I go with canine tab.
vetzyme isn't just a multivitamin tho, it's also a muscle supplement for active dogs.
they are all nice, you can choose anyone you like.

it's not really important, it's just an extra boost of calcium.
if you're giving your pups enough calcium in their diet already then you don't need to bother.

Bro thanks so much for all your contributions. I have concluded to buy two female boerboels since it can drop minimum of 10 pups per litter. Let me start with two and see how it goes

uwlc but dog breeding isn't only about puppy production, you have to learn a lot of things.
e.g if your dog gives birth to 10pups and you don't take care of them well and you loose some, it's still a big loss to you.
learn a lot of things from experienced breeders before going into the business

I make his food that small to avoid wasted of food, nothing pains me like waking up to a left over food on his plate. It's not a good thing

I feed him 2x a day, morning and night and he's cool with it lol

I remember when my dog was this age he used to eat a whole lot more than this quantity 4 times a day and I used to complain his appetite was not enough . now I feel I like I was expecting too much from a puppies appetite lol.

Alright, augusto's meals comprises of mostly pure protein as he's still a pup thereby needs protein for better growth, development and all that.

Contained in the plate are;

*Soaked dry food(nutribyte)
*The chunky brown cube-like is the canned food, augusto's breeder recommended the brand for me so i gave it a try. Really nice brand
*mashed chicken and chicken bones
*premature eggs, got them from the layers we bought last week for famiky consumption
*The whitish substance is milk, I felt since he's still a pup adding milk to his meal wouldn't be a bad idea
*Then chicken broth.

Everything contained in that plate are frozen except the soaked dry food which will neutralize everything and make the food worm instead of cold or too hot. I've never served him cooked home food or my normal homemade recipe like i did for gusaf tho I used white rice as filler yesterday to make up his meal... I guess it's not yet time for that

I use prazi-warmer and its effective, been using it since 2015

As for the multivitamins, I sometimes use B-complex, any better multivitamins you know/use please share.

In my honest opinion d guy is not ready

he has to start small nah, he should start with one or two dogs and grow from there, but the 100k is small sha.
if he really wants to have a dope kennel he should invest more money into it, if it works for him then the payout will be massive

breeding only one gsd will definitely not fetch you as much money as breeding a more expensive dog.
except he buys just one female and looks for a good stud when she's mature, even at that, it's not a very productive breed for single breeding.

dogs like boerbels can drop more than 10 pups per litter and each can fetch you up to 100k per pup if you have quality stock.
I've seen a boerbel litter 13pups, the owner was made wealthy in one day , imagine if he had like 5 top quality females and 2 studs. millions will enter his hand every couple of months

well....expensive dogs are usually wild animals, dogs like boerbel, cane corso, Caucasian, pitbulls e.t.c are all sold expensive but they are not easy to control or take care of.
you have to be passionate and committed to do this dog business if not it'll frustrate you.
if you wanna go into the business it's better if you remove your fear for wild dogs because you'll definitely meet some that you'll have to dominate

that's the thing, I'm not in Lagos, the dog demand might be different here.
look for lagos breeders that know what they're doing and discuss with them, that's the best way to get the right information IMO.

if you want a very commercial dog, it actually depends on your location.
e.g boerbels might be in high demand in Lagos but German shepherds might be the dog in high demand in abia.
I suggest you go around and ask breeders in your location all these questions and also learn some business tips before going into the business.
