then see him at 10 months, no supplements just good diet. ranger even looks like he'll be more impressive so if I were you I'd not bother ![]()
|
see mine at 2 months
|
iamnen:Caucasians are already a fast growing breed, boosting your dog's growth can cause problems for him. just feed him well and relax and he'll still grow big you don't need the supplements especially at this age. maybe when he's mature you can give him gorilla max to help his muscle mass but he's too young for all these things now at this age his bones are not even strong yet too much weight or growth will put pressure on his bones and cause bone problems for him. they grow overnight it'll even shock you how fast he'll grow in front of you don't bother yourself .I never used any growth supplement on mine yet he still grew well you can check my thread for his pics. don't stress yourself just give him a few months ![]() |
iamnen:if it's for ranger then don't buy either of them,you'll regret |
iamnen:if you can teach him basic commands like; sit, stand, stop, leave it, e.t.c. it's okay for his age. when he's older he'll be able to listen and understand more. he's still young, at his age play is mostly what's on their mind. is he showing signs of aggression already? |
iamnen:yes there's a special cod liver oil for dogs. the one you're giving him is for humans. |
iamnen:that's really good, make sure the family bonds with him now he's small, if they are scared of him now I wonder what they'll do eight months from now ![]() |
iamnen:tbh the diet you're suggesting is better than the foetus and restaurant waste by far. he actually needs to eat the can food and dry food now he's a little pup it's best for him. the eggs and sardines are also a good addition to his diet leave the restaurant waste and foetus. and I think it's better you train him on your own now he's young,it's a good way to bond with him, he's too young for a professional trainer right now, at this age he'll barely be able to pay attention or understand commands .just watch some home training dog videos for now and train him on the basic commands yourself for now, you can hire a trainer when he's older. |
Nicolex:did you make sure it cleared before you stopped administering antibiotics? |
ranger looks good looks like he's going to be big when he's an adult ![]() start socialising with him now that he's a puppy. you said you leave early and come back late, make sure you play with the dog the few times you have to spend with him because when he's mature, he might chase you away from your house one night. dogs don't know who provides the money for food, they only know who feeds and trains them ![]() try and create a bond with the dog now he's still a playful puppy and let your family do the same, as he's getting bigger he'll start trying to cross boundaries and if they show that they fear him he might start trying to be dominant in the house. make sure everyone bonds with the dog, even if they don't like him at least let him know them well, don't keep him chained or locked up now let him be free around the family so he can study and sniff you guys well enough. good luck |
SeeMeForLAPTOP:how is it a problem? |
samnaija:wow the mange is gone ![]() now just keep on bathing the dog once a week with the chemical for prevention |
why are you spraying whiskey on dog's faces ![]() |
jokinexcel:take him to a vet asap |
do you feed him bones? it could be wounding him internally.
and yes you can feed a dog catfish intestine |
are you looking for a dog to date?
why tf are you posting this in pet section??
there is a romance section you know? ![]() |
I'm like that with a lot of people |
some dogs tend to stop eating when they're in a new environment, if that's the case then just give her time and try to convince her to eat by mixing what she loves with her food. you can also ask the person you got her from when last she was dewormed, at her age, she should be dewormed every 2 weeks till she's 3 months old |
AkeNathan:everything isn't parvo lack of appetite doesn't mean parvo, their are literally a lot of reasons why a dog can stop eating don't jump to parvo everytime |
mafiano1986:the reason why the dog was acting strange was because he was just nervous being in a new environment with a new owner. with time he'll get used to everything and become free, it happens with some puppies. |
Jackonsy:what you said makes no sense what so ever tho. how is a dog being aggressive terrestrial adaptation? |
Equado:so is the 110k for two of them or 110k for each? |
first of all, those are two different dogs lol |
samnaija:everyday is too much bro,the chemical is strong, especially for a puppy. try spacing out the days please, maybe wait a day before you use |
samnaija:are you sure you're using the correct quantity? and you aren't meant to use it daily |
samnaija:bro mange is caused by mites and I suspect the reason why the mange is recurring is because they are already everywhere the dog stays in your house. even if it clears they'll still come back until you kill them all finally. use that amitraz to mop everywhere your dog usually stays to avoid it coming back. remember to chain the dog somewhere while you do this so he won't be tempted to lick the chemical. I've had this same problem with one of my previous dogs, the dog was an inside dog that had a very stubborn mange problem that didn't go no matter how I tried. the only way I stopped it was to wash place the dog stays(both my clothes and bedsheets) and mop the whole house with amitraz. after that the tick, fleas and mange problems stopped ![]() |
samnaija:true but also remember you have to clean where the dog sleeps if not it might come back again |
samnaija:finished so soon? were you using it everyday? and at least it's clearing but you still have to keep on using it till it clears then you can use only for prevention since your dog gets mange frequently. also mix small amitraz with water and clean where you dog sleeps, but don't let the dog in until it has dried to avoid ingestion |

1000angstroms:of course gsds need to be with their owners, that doesn't mean they have to be inside with their owners. even right from when they were first bred, the creator von shepanitz made the dog to be his side kick, he took the dog everywhere with him. the dog helped guard his work and also was his loyal companion. they weren't used as inside dogs until recently and even people that use them as inside dogs still have to take them outside to fulfil that urge the breed has to work. they are and have always been outside dogs, gsd masters usually stay out with the dogs more often than they do in this modern era that's just the issue. which is why they are for people with more active lifestyles so the dog can tag along. |
