My father even on his sick bed kept reassuring me that he would pay my final year school fees and give me money for my project immediately he is discharged, sadly he was never discharged. I feel bad because I had payed my school fees and also gotten money for my project but I refused to tell him because i thought he was going to recover and give me the money. If I had known he won't make it I'll have told him that I've paid everything at least to give him peace of mind.

There is something u don't know.. When someone with a gift with prophecy ask you question and you reply. that reply you give. is like a KEY to open the locked door to ur secrets and past. Things about you will start appearing to them. sometimes in form of voice or comes as a feeling.. I might hear the sentence "two trees without fruit" the utterance will come and i will interprete it as someone without a child. Then I will ask do you have a child, then the person will say no.. what is 2? then she might say two years in marriage without a child.. The prophetic is a realm. there are levels.. There are people with gift of prophecy(they might not even be a Christian or be d greatest sinner alive) but yet they can see things abt fiffle.(fiffle past n present).. .

There is a level where you operate in d office of a prophet. In this level some of them are prophet from birth and some are imparted by another prophet to carry the prophetic mantle. this people see things about you in a big screen. they don't have to interpret what they hear, they see what they are to say. Sometimes they see angels telling them what they are to tell you.
In this level, they see fiffle past and present, and even fortell events to happen and they can command things to happen and it will according to their words..

the last level is people that has become the gift of prophecy. This is so rare.
they no longer operate with the gift or in the office but they have become the gift and the office of prophet themselves. this kind of people, when you move too close to them maybe 6metre, you will start prophesying...If u bump into them , you start prophesying. When they move into a gathering, all the people present there will start prophesying immediately.

You are not hearing anything, it's called cold reading.

If you can read people's life, there is no point in asking question so as to filter your vague prediction you might have made

In conclusion, been religious as at then isn't bad since that is where knowledge about how the world works are given topmost priority.

So alot of truth seeker will definitely subscribe to it, also irreligious/atheist are minute and sometimes heretics, how can we expect them to build civilisation when they are seen as outcast,tortored or held incommunicado.

Modern science is where the truth lies. When you become irreligious, you become a seeker of truth by trashing those rigid explanation that is now obsolete but people still want to make you believe is relevant.

1------ My view is that religion is actually a 'science', albeit classical.
Classical in the sense that it started in antiquity and it's fundamentally subjective.
Religion started the moment man start wondering how the universe came to be, why thunder strike, where we come from e.t.c


2----- Since this classical form of science is subjective, different explanation is expected for how the world works.
And like "customs", humans are patriotic or persuaded with force to believe any idea emanating from themselve or from close circle(community) that seem to work or give a satisfactory explanation for what we are ignorant of.
All thanks to the reptilian brain.


3----- Since alot of people desperately seek explanation to some of this mysteries, they will end up believing and becoming patriotic to any idea closest to them and sometimes with idea that seem harmonious with how they expect the world to be.
If you don't believe in any,then you are definitely not curious about how the world works.

4----- With increase in numbers of people with a subjective unifying idea and the epoch the belief is covering, the more differing views from the fundamental framework should be expected and also different dogmas should start springing up due to the emanating views.

5---- The dogmas start springing up because the fundamental belief give no explanation or is inconsistent with the new mysteries that must have been found due to incessant skepticim of some people in the circle.
Thereby Begging for a new explanation


5---- Like i've said in (no3), the burning fire of scepticism of the new set of emerging heretics will be quench either by force or by dogma so they can be patriotic to the belief all over again.

6----- And that is how a classical science community transform into a cult-like group.

What, please, did Socrates say about sophists?

They are intelligent, learned, wise and have experience of different culture (widely travelled).

But socrates doen't like their way expecially in their use of rhetorics ( because they are very good i.e expert in the art of rhetorics )

He doesn't like them not because they are good in rhetorics but because they mostly employ it in an argument/dialogue instead of its proper use i.e in public speaking.

Which implies that they tend to be persuasive in an arguement rather than adhering strictly to logic in expectation to see where it leads to.
so he believe they are not in for the Truth in an arguement but to persuade(using rhetorics).

Nevertheless, he respect them for their intelligence, oratory, wisdom and vast experience anyway.
