I think N500 is the true value
N900 is the true value Buhari left it at.

I don't think Tinubu has done anything extraordinary since he came in to really affect the real value.
BusinessRe: Why Naira Will Continue To Appreciate by Iamgrey5(m): 4:47pm On Mar 27, 2024
The real value of naira is around 900 to 1000 naira based on our level of crude oil production which Constitute majority of our GDP and money in circulation.

Speculators drove it to 1850 because they kept betting against the naira.

CBN can defend the Naira at 900 naira to 1 dollar comfortably.

By next week, CBN will sell dollars for 1000 to the BDC and before end of April they will be holding it at 900 Naira.

Mr Ekwekwe economist, You don't need 500k cash in dollars to import anything

Banks deal with such large amount.

People often use letter of credit to buy goods in international trade.

Teejay2033:
In this kind of game, we needed a player like Mikel Obi and Onasi that would tackle opponents, break their rhythm and spread the ball across. If Iwobi and Oyenka are only good in one department, then going forward, we have to find a replacement for them. We need a complete player in the midfield. A decent midfielder should be able to win balls, dribble, break attacks, and give excellent passes.
I understand you bro
Hoever, international football is not like club football.

You get what you get.

Coaches in international football need to show tactical flexibility to win games using what they have.

We have what is required to play a four four two formation today

With Zaidu, Oyenka and the another midfielder and with iwobi playing slightly forward in the space between opposition defenders and midfielders where he is more dangerous.

Teejay2033:
Our midfield was none existence tonight. We weren't tackling the Ivorians neither were we winning balls. So, no adequate supply of balls to the attackers. Everything weren't just right from the start of the game.
iwobi is not a proper central midfielder and while Oyenka is an excellent player, he is not excellent In transition( passing the ball at pace to the front)..

Iwobi is only the one in the midfield with an excellent passing ability in the midfield but he doesn't have the physical strength or pace.

Your analysis is 100% spot on

It is quite unfortunate dat our coach never saw it dat way

Our coach wanted d match to go to penalties

because I can't understand his defending for 90minutes

Imagine just 5 shots and only one on target

A local coach of ivory Coast outclassed him

So dissapointed
Our coach doesn't show tactical flexibility.

In a final, the game was even at one/one with the host nation in good position to win and you left the formation as it was.

The loophole in the two midfielders was very obvious.

To implement a proper "low block" you need three strong central midfielders that can also run.

The Nigeria female team implemented the low block better at the world cup because they have fantastic central midfielders.
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Ivory Coast AFCON 2023 Finals (1 - 2) On 11th February 2024 by Iamgrey5(m): 12:06am On Feb 12, 2024
For those attacking Iwobi

He is not a centeral midfielder,he doesn't have the tactical awareness and strength to cope with the job of a centeral midfielder.

He is a ten that plays just behind a striker.

It's like forcing Odergard to play in central midfield. He is going to be too soft and physically incapable of matching proper midfielders.
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Ivory Coast AFCON 2023 Finals (1 - 2) On 11th February 2024 by Iamgrey5(m): 12:01am On Feb 12, 2024
We played too deep and our wingers were totally useless.

Everytime we won the ball back our wingers were crowded out by two ivorian defenders right in our own half of the field.

We needed to put pressure on the Ivorian defense to push them back but instead we kept going deep.

Adringa pace was used to stretch our defense just as South Africa used Percy Tau to do the same in the last match.

I dey watch how isreal dey bombard Games terrorists for Gaza

Imagine for a whole 90 minutes, we had just one shot on target

What an eyesore
When Ivory coast scored the first goal.
The coach should have changed the system to 442 rather than the Two midfielders we were playing.

Bring in Zaidu and push iwobi into proper ten role.

Iwobi is not a centeral midfielder.

The two wingers (chikuze and lookman) should have been sacrificed because they have spent nearly 60 minutes defending and have not managed a single cross all game.

Terem moffis pace(second striker) will have forced the ivorian defense backwards.

Gemstone can be discovered accidentally in a location through normal digging at anytime as it was discovered in Igangan in Oyo state which led to Fulani fracas.

It was the discovery of Emerald that created those problem back then.

It's not like coal. It's very limited and one stone can be sold for millions of dollars.

No. That's what I'm saying. It needs to be investigate to a logical conclusion instead of all these conjectures. I'm not aware of mining sites in Ibadan or Oke Ogun which I'm familiar with.
Only ibarapa I can't speak of.
I think we need to know exactly why explosives were kept in that area.
The only Gemstone market in Nigeria is located in Akinyele local government of ibadan close to Iseyin and other oke-ogun towns

Why do you think federal government will do that if not that gemstone is found in large quantities along that route.

Ordinary people digging well do find gemstones along that side.

Oyo state is a place where gemstone is largely mined.

There's a gemstone market near that location.

Although I am also surprised the governor jumped into fast conclusion.

You're just capping nonsense. Now, let's use Illorin as a case study. When Fulanis conquered Illorin, did they impose Fulfude on the people? No! They were only interested in owning the place while allowing the language of the conquered aborigines to remain.

Same thing happened in Lagos, atleast you can hear it from the direct descendant of Lagos rulers. Dosunmu acknowledged that Benin conquered Lagos while Aworis that arrived from Ibadan were forced to pay royalties to Benin. At some point, when they refused to pay, Benin monarchy had to intervene by establishing the Eko royal kingdom that exist till today. Thus, the rulers of Lagos are of Benin origin.

She even stated that Lagos indigenes are not lazy, but those that are lazy are the outsiders claiming to be Lagosians by default. I hope you know the people she is referring here🤣🤣
What you wrote is absolute trash

First of, Awori never came from Ibadan.

Secondly, unlike ilorin that acknowledged that Yorubas were their before, she actually saying they were there before the Aworis.

So read and comprehend before stating nonsense next week

Besides, according to your story, Bini fought and conquered Awori owners. But there's no historical record to back it up.
They don't

They have family compound on Lagos island and that is it.

Most of their decendants bought the land they have.
