While there are some Nigerian guys who are actually excited about the idea of attending a private university after their secondary schools, there are even more than thrice the number who don’t wish to, especially those who come from well-to-do families whose parents are always intoxicated with the proposed or assumed good morals and high quality of education their children will benefit from these private institutions.

Not to lie or hide it, private universities do have some good advantages like the absense of the very familiar strike in the federal and state universities and the quicker and better access to lectures but honestly that’s all they can boast of. Forget their forming and poshy lifestyles. Many of them wish they were in federal and public universities. Lol.

I had an encounter with a girl from Madonna university and she confirmed she wished she was in Imo State University as her school was worse than a nursery school in the ways they were being treated.

Going to a federal or state university gives you the exposure you need in life and not being confined like someone in a prison or a food warming in the microwave. You learn the ethics and orientations of the real world and you are braced to face life because you have seen it all.

You gain wisdom outside the school lecture halls and your system becomes automatically adapted to the real life hustles and struggles unlike some over pampered babies in the private institutions who can’t face the real world when they graduate.

Graduating from a public institution gives you a psychological balance and charges your mental ability to scale through difficult times.

Enough of the talk. Let’s roll straight to the point. Here are six reasons private universities don’t suit a typical Nigerian in this our kind of bad economy and government no matter how rich your parents are. C’mon, forget the money, you need to experience life in the public institutions and your life will never remain the same.

Freedom and Independence: You don’t wanna be confined in a place like a baby or someone in prison or a food warming in a microwave. You need space, you need freedom, you need to explore more, you need to move out and experience some things. Unfortunately, going to private universities, especially those owned by the churches won’t help you achieve this and I know deep down your heart, you wouldn’t like this to be your case. You also need to wear that favorite dress you like and you can only do this in a public university. In private universities, you live the normal routine of a bank staff – everyday corporate. Lol.

Cost of Education: Private universities pay exorbitant school fees as if they even learn anything. What has a student from a private university in Nigeria invented or accomplished after all the school fees? Not just about fees, cost of living in private universities are way too high unlike in the public universities where you can cook your own food, go to the market and buy foodstuffs at cheaper prices. Don’t you think you are too old to be fed like a baby in the private university?

Exposure: In a public university, you literally meet life and life meets you. You see it all. But in a private university, you graduate and still haven’t met a quarter of life let alone life meeting you.

Life on and off campus is everything: Like it sounds, it’s just it. Campus life is sweet – on and off it. That’s the kind of fun you will only experience in a public university. No wonder when students in private universities are on break, they want to do all the bad things and have all the fun at once before going back to school. They know they are in prisons and not school. Lol.

Maturity: When you graduate from a public university, you automatically become an adult because the school system has shaped you to be. But when you graduate from a private university, you start life afresh like a new born baby.

Hard Work: Public university will teach you that hard work is compulsory and you will see it with your two eyes. Students in privates schools are still being pampered like nursery school students.

The guy slept in my GF's room 3 different times that I'm aware of. He spent 5days the first time, the second time he spent close to a week, the third, he slept and left the following day. She told me each time the guy was visiting, this made me trust her and believed that the guy was her cousin.

My GF and I had a serious argument and misunderstanding this January, my girlfriend's brother had to step in and begged on her behalf. GF's brother and I spoke at length and I used that opportunity to ask my GF's bro about the guy my girlfriend introduced to me as her cousin.

Her brother told me they are not related by blood in any way, that they are JUST close family friends and nothing more and moreso, the guy in question once asked my gf out but due to the closeness of the family, my guy's mum playfully declined the request. Immidately he said this, my blood pressure increased, my heart beat increased 100x faster, one million and one thoughts ran through my head.

Though, I once asked her why the cousin always come to her room and stay longer period of days before leaving, the answer she gave me was that the guy is a serving corps member and whenever he wants to visit his family, he branches to her place and spend some time with her before going home (when I was in Nigeria, I do visit my cousins and spend time with them before leaving so I had no issues with the guy coming over if truly they are related)

To cut the long story short, I asked her about the true identity of the guy, she told me the truth and she swore that they did nothing during her so called 'cousin' numerous sleepovers in her room. I forgave her for lying to me and we moved on.

I got back to Nigeria last month and a source disclosed to me that my GF and her 'cousin' had sex more than five different occasions. (I don't want to reveal my source, my gf is an active nairalander)

I called her and told her about what I heard. She denied at first but later told me that they had sex 4 different times while I was away. (I'm dead sure it must be more than 4 times) She said they made out when we had issues during the December time. If this is true, they had sex 4 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS within the space of 31 days. (if not more than 10 times sef)

I'm so devastated right now. We saw over the weekend, she wasn't feeling too well, I picked her from her school to the school hospital and later brought to my house. She spent the night at my place and begged me all through the night for me to forgive her and that she is truly sorry for the pain she caused me, she also begged in the car with tears and mucus all over her face while I was dropping her off to her place. She said she is a changed person and that her life will be meaningless if I leave and that everybody deserves a second chance.

I honestly don't know what to do at this juncture. I don't tolerate infidelity of any kind more reason why I'm straightforward and loyal to her. I told her I have forgiven her because she wouldn''t leave my car if I don't forgive her. She kept crying and crying making passers-by wonder if I'm trying to kidnap her or something, I felt uncomfortable with the whole situation. The truth is that my heart is far from her the very moment she admitted to having sex with the guy while in a relationship with me. I find it highly disturbing.

How do I leave her without making her hurt herself because she may get herself killed once it's obvious that i am gone for good and secondly, if truly she's changed, is her sin really forgivable and forgettable?

- one count of offender 18 or over engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15

The offences were committed between 1 January and 31 December 2015 against nine victims. Benson's two-year prison sentence will be served, consecutively, to his existing jail term.

I don't even know how to start, I'm really sad and i know it is my fault, i'm sorry if it's a long read i need advise please bear with me.

When i was still single at age 29, I left a relationship that turned out be a mistake so it took time before i met someone else, at age 31 I noticed changes in my period (one month off, one month on) it has never happened to me before so i didnt take it to be anything, then it started skipping 2 months at a roll, then 3 months, i became worried cos i wasn't sexualy active at all. During this period i met my husband and we started something serious, to be on a safe side i went to see the doctor, he said i was fine that it's hormonal changes, he gave me some drugs (mostly vitamins) but it was still skipping, when my husband proposed, i went back to the doctor, he did series of tests, when results came out he said i'm having symptoms of POF, i was shocked, i cried and cried cos it's unheard of for someone my age, i told him i'm about to get married what can i do he said i should start taking hormonal injections since it's too early to be POF, i started taking it and praying all will be fine, all this while i didnt say a word of this to my husband to be or anyone else, then we got married, i took in immediately, it was the happiest day of my life, when we discovered it was triplets i cried tears of joy to the extent that my husband wondered why i was soo happy, i gave birth to 2 boys and a girl, i really thank God for his faithfulness cos i was soo nervous during the pregnancy.

My period was still skipping, then this year march it stopped completely, i went to see 2 different doctors to be sure, they confirmed i have POF (early menopause), i cried and still thank God cos he blessed me with the fruit of the womb but i couldnt bring myself to tell my husband, then he started noticing i dont buy sanitary pad anymore, he asked thinking i was pregnant i always tell him no, at a point he had to ask me if i want to make the pregnancy a surprise, that was when i knew it's time to tell him the truth, i knelt down and told him everything, i held nothing back, he was shocked that i could do something like that to him, he said i should have told him before we got married, i told him he wouldnt have married me if i told him, he was angry, he said what if the hormonal injections didnt work, it was an expensive and wicked gamble, i told him it worked that's what matters now, he abused me and walked out of the house, he didnt come home till the next day, since then things have never been the same.

Madam, you have wronged him and you have also wronged his creator for what you did. There are some people who even believe divorce is not an option ever, so imagine what sort of heartbreak you have caused to such a person. You have no justifications whatsoever, so I implore you not to listen to some other women (especially crazed feminists) who would try to tell you that you should either leave him or charge back at him because you already apologized. You have no justifications whatsoever.

God loves everyone equally, so I am a firm believer that everyone deserves to be forgiven if and when they are truly sorry for what they did. What you need to do now is find someone whom he respects a lot; someone that can appeal to his emotions because right now, you don't have that privilege anymore. Cry your heart out, beg the person for forgiveness and make them understand that your World is nothing without your husband. A Nigerian woman based in Toronto has told of how she challenged cultural norms by choosing not to kneel down for her husband during her traditional marriage, and that Nigerian men are mad about it.

The gorgeous Yoruba bride said she and her husband spoke to the coordinators (Alagas) ahead of the wedding and asked that they do not ask her to kneel for her husband. The wedding day came and it was the way the bride and groom wanted it. There was no mention of submission and she didn't have to kneel.

She said her sister also took a stand at her own wedding which took place earlier this week.

After she shared her story, some women who did the same thing came to share theirs. A few Nigerian men applauded her for challenging the status quo. But the majority of Nigerian men were angry and called her out. Some even insulted her husband for supporting her.

It happen that I got married to my wife over Nine yrs ago and we only have a Kid. I was working in a big company then before the new management came in and change the policy of the company and I was laid off. I was idle like 3yrs before I got another job. she is working in one of the biggest bank in Nigeria. I ask what are they normally discussing, but she told me that it was their office issue that they are discussing. I know the guy and his family and the guy has came to my house not more than four times.

It happen one day that I demanded to give her phone to browse because I was having problem with my phone. she gave me the phone around 10:30pm and I noticed she has has cleared all their chat. This make it look suspicious and I asked her immediately that why did you deleted the chat, but she told me it was a mistake. I think over it for sometime because I trust her then, but on the other hand my mind was telling me to find out more. As an IT expert I connected her phone to my system and do some forensic research on the phone, alas what I discovered was bad. My wife and the guy have been having an affair and chatting and sending their nude to themselves. I called her immediately and demanded to explain the pixture but she denial it and was telling me another story that she snap the pixture and to show me how she was Hot so that we can have sex that night.

she said I should show her where I got the nude pixs and before she came back from the office she has wipe all the pixs that I showed her thinking that I cannot recovered it anymore and I asked her why should you do that but was just begging me. I recovered all the pixs back and the chat she believe she has deleted and I have more proof that she has been cheating on me.

So I asked her to tell me the truth what is going on with the guy and her but she was just begging me. But I told him I dont want her to do or have anything with the guy again that if I catch her again she will not like what I will do for her, with the hope that she will change. Recently I noticed she stil chatting with the guy again and I rake on her to stop it but she told me that she was just explaining office issue she has when he (the guy) not around because she is the one that relief him on work.

This week they are still chatting late in the nite cos I always seen the chat, though she will delete it as soon as they chat finish but I always have the chat and also today they have chat alot to the extend that my wife was crying when she expecting good reply from the guy but the guy fail him and I noticed she has intimate with the guy rather than me her husband.

My wife can lie and so Promiscuous. I have called her severally to change but she did not, recently I heard she was talking with one of her online friend from Abuja when the guy told her he will be coming to visit her this coming week, and I expect my wife to tell me but uptill now she has not saying anything on it. This make me not to have much trust in her again because if she tell me something I will still think over it like five times again before I accepted.

So my plan now is to call the wife of her colleague and explain everything to the wife and I also planing of arresting her colleague because I still have the proof and dont mind what can come out of this, because I tired and cant continue like this anymore, ever since I have caught her I did not enjoy my home anylonger and I tried to erase it from my memory but not get it wright.

Dear sir, this issue is so rampant these days that it has graduated from mere relationships to marriage. Best advice? Please leave the marriage honorably. I am not justifying men cheating, but when men cheat, it's mostly out of sheer lust and they can cheat with as much as possible ladies but feel zero for them.

When females cheat, it only means she felt something way before the whole thing started. Women aren't naturally built to cheat, and that's one of the many ways they are better than us men. If she cheats, it means she has crossed the boundary. She has weighed both you and that person she's cheating with over time and has drawn herself towards all the ways he's better than you (The common one these days being a bigger pen!s).

It's like a forbidden fruit for women. Once she crosses that line, she's as good as gone and it only takes the grace of God to bring her back. Cheating is disgusting for both parties, yes but I'm here to explain to you why you need to run away from that toxic marriage before it ruins you.



To all other men out there, read this carefully:
1. Do not go into a relationship or even think of marrying a lady who has a bestie. They will give you lots of convincing reasons why "Nothing will ever happen" but Bros, please flee for your life. It's one of the common things these days.

2. If your girl/wife is the type that chats a lot, posts Instagram pictures of her pretty self and gets lots of compliments and all that, please run a check on her chats just once. They will argue with you that "Breach of privacy" but my man, when you find out what sort of things go on within their chats, you'll run mad with fear. Do it once, and when you find out she's clean, never do it again. It's better to find out before things get too deep.
