All this program are done in Lagos on weekly bases now.. can u imagine.. ok, it is my Ondo state governor that is not aware of impact of education na. Last employment into education was 2000 as at 3 month ago and that's not part of his 100 project for 100 days in office o.
Or is Aketi not his mate?? Reelected same day?? So many of you guys don't know how to reply a comment, what will I be ashamed of? Ashamed of another man's living his life? Now, my question to you is what would you be remembered for in your small circle? |

Deadlytruth: Most secondary schools in Edo State are now being practically run by their alumni associations or the natives of their host communities who levy themselves to recruit teachers and pay their salaries all due to acute shortage of teachers in the schools courtesy of the state government's refusal to employ new teachers at least for the past eight years. I myself belong to my school alumni association in which each member contributes N1,000 monthly to pay the six additional teachers and two security men we employed for the school in addition to the seven that the school of over 1,000 students had before our intervention, so what then is the essence of EDOBEST? Like what I said earlier, no matter how Good you may try to be, there will be people who would say you never did well. Absolutely there is nothing I can tell you now that he has done that will satisfy you. We are of different mindset, if we reason exactly the same way sure there's problem somewhere. Thank you. |

post=102867617: Update From . COM
Gunmen suspected to be armed bandits have allegedly killed a medical doctor identified as Precious Chinedu Emeka in Salka village, Magama Local Government Area of Niger State, Reports.
It was gathered that the gunmen numbering about five invaded his clinic while he was on duty around 9:00pm on Wednesday evening, June 16, and whisked him away to an unknown destination.
According to , one of the gunmen who covered his face with a mask, had entered inside the clinic and demanded to see the doctor.
A source from the locality in an interview on Friday in Minna said that Dr. Precious as he was fondly called was inside the compound which doubles as his clinic when the gunmen entered and took him away.

Politics › Re: President Buhari Visits Borno, Addresses Personnel Of Operation Hadin Kai by IAMPEDRO: 7:54pm On Jun 17, 2021 |
presidency: ADDRESS BY HIS EXCELLENCY MUHAMMADU BUHARI PRESIDENT AND COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA DURING HIS OFFICIAL VISIT TO PERSONNEL OF THE ARMED FORCES AND OTHER SECURITY AGENCIES IN OPERATION HADIN KAI, 17 JUNE 2021 I am delighted to be with you this afternoon, to address you on this special occasion of my official visit to Borno State. I want to seize this opportunity to put it on record that our nation will forever be indebted to you, for your patriotic commitment to the defence of our fatherland against insurgency and criminality. 2. I therefore commend you and remember all the personnel who have paid the supreme sacrifice in ensuring that Nigeria remains an indivisible and secure entity. 3. As I send my heartfelt condolences to the families of our fallen heroes and pray for the souls of the departed, I want to assure you that this administration will spare no effort or resources to ensure that the widows and children of our fallen heroes who paid the supreme price in defence of our beloved country, are well cared for. 4. Furthermore, we will continue to ensure that our wounded comrades get the best medical attention towards their full recovery. 5. While acknowledging your collective efforts at decimating and degrading the terrorists and reaffirming the inviolable sovereignty of our nation, I also wish to extol your steadfastness and untiring efforts in the face of the difficulties you experience in the Theatres of Operation. 6. Your collective efforts have resulted in the relative peace being enjoyed in the region today. Under my watch, the Armed Forces of Nigeria have been provided a firm strategy and clear sense of direction to safeguard the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country. 7. We should not allow our adversaries the opportunity or breathing space to challenge or undermine our national interests and core values. The defence and security agencies should rest assured of the Federal Government's unalloyed commitment to winning the battle against terror and criminality. 8. I am particularly happy to note the increasing understanding and cooperation within the military, as well as the inter-agency cooperation in the fight against the terrorists and other criminal elements in the North East. 9. The outcome of this synergy is evidenced by the successes recorded in the ongoing Operation TURA TAKAIBANGO which has so far degraded the insurgents’ capabilities in the Timbuktu Triangle, Sambisa Forest and the Lake Chad Region. I am therefore pleased to acknowledge that the military and other security agencies including civilian stakeholders are adhering to the true spirit of Operation HADIN KAI which implies “jointness, synergy and cooperation.”
10. By pooling together, the collective resources and comparative advantages of the Armed Forces and other security agencies, we hope the enemy will now feel the ferocity of our firepower and the weight of our resolve.
11. Side by side with the efforts of the Armed Forces and security agencies, this Administration is developing a strategy for post-war reconstruction and peace-building. Concerted efforts are being made to fast-track re-construction and development programmes in the affected communities in the North East. 12. I am hopeful that this will lead to the speedy resettlement of displaced persons, as well as the restoration of bubbling community life as the people return to their homes. 13. Alongside investment in development and reconstruction, we will sustain our investment in the Armed Forces in a manner that balances the "carrot and stick".
14. Several interventions by this government have led to the procurement and delivery of large consignments of critical combat enablers, including high calibre weapons and ammunition.
15. Many have been injected into the Theatre and soon other equipment that have just arrived the country would also be deployed to the Theatre of operations. Much more equipment will be procured for the Armed Forces to cater for both the short and long-term requirements.
16. I would like, at this point to also commend the hierarchy of our Armed Forces for their strategic foresight in ensuring that some of our critical military equipment are fabricated locally.
17. The repairs and maintenance of some of these vital weapons are now being carried out in the country thereby saving the nation a lot of foreign exchange and also creating jobs for our teeming population.
18. As personnel of our Armed Forces and security agencies, you must understand that these items of equipment must be put to good use against the terrorists and other criminal elements. There is no room for complacency, and no need to be less than 100 per cent alert at all times.
19. As your Commander-in-Chief, I want to assure you that this government will continue to work towards the provision of timely funding and procurement of equipment for the Armed Forces and other security agencies. This is intended to boost the prosecution of the ongoing war to a logical conclusion and also to serve our collective interests and well-being.
20. In addition, your welfare is of utmost importance and concern to this government. I am glad that the gradual rotation of the troops in the field has commenced, as I directed. I am sure that this will minimize and possibly eliminate battle fatigue, as well as enhance troops’ morale.
21. I now wish to thank you for your unalloyed loyalty and selfless sacrifices towards the defence of our country. Your courage and gallantry will continue to inspire others, as they echo into the future.
22. While I commend your resilience, let me remind you that there is still a lot of work to be done, to completely restore peace to the North East, stem the activities of armed bandits in the North West and North Central, as well as deal with other security challenges across the country.
23. You must therefore remain steadfast and see this war to a conclusive end. In doing so, you must rely on interagency cooperation, strengthen your cohesion with the troops of neighboring Republics of Cameroon, Chad and Niger in our collective fight against the terrorists, under the auspices of the Multinational Joint Task Force. This will consolidate our efforts and facilitate the speedy return of peace and stability to the region.
24.Once again I salute your courage and wish you the best, as you continue to make Nigeria proud.
God bless you all and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. This area of Nigeria is something else, I wonder how people survive in the weather. You can't breathe well, no fresh breeze, dry atmosphere. |

My dad never believed in borrowing people money. If you come for a 100k loan from him, he will tell you he doesn't have 100k but he will give you 30k as dash.
Nobody will kill or avoid you cause of money you dashed them. Great lesson from a lovely dad. It is better to give than to loan. It better to dash 15k than loan 40k. |

Things are very difficult for Nigerians now so you may find it difficult getting someone to give you any laptop you believe they're not using.
If you believe in your goal and you are ready to work hard to achieve it yourself without waiting for one helper somewhere, I will suggest you use the phone you have now to start doing freelance work till you raise enough money to buy your own laptop.
Go to QA and Gotranscript. Register there and start transcribing... Look for those who have excess work on nairaland and help them do it. Before the year ends you'll make enough money to buy a good laptop to facilitate your learning and even pay for training or premium courses.
If you finish learning, go to Upwork and Fiverr and set up your account there and start making money without waiting for anyone to help you.
This route is not going to be easy... You'll suffer and become frustrated along the way. But if you persevere, you'll come out successful within one year.
If you keep hoping on Nigerians to come and help you, bro you'll be delayed from achieving your goals.
Just look for way to be earning foreign currency small small with your phone first before thinking of learning those skills.
All the best Pls can I have your WhatsApp number? |

Palmerbarry: I've always wanted to ask the above question. I am a very quiet person, an introvert, but in my head, I talk every seconds like a real talkative. From reasoning to prediction to past events, it keeps rotating.
Does this happen to you too, or its just me. If it's just me, how bad is it to my health?
Please I need answers Good morning sir, You're not doing bad at all, for this is what led to the Renaissance in Europe, the era of classical learning that's between 14th-16th centuries. The era where logical and analytical reasonings were birthed. The ability to reason is of humans and not animals, the more reason why we are more superior. I think this is exactly what's going on on your head or did you think the founding fathers of (Renaissance) were just seated without nothing running through their heads? Lots of things were running through their head bro and they acted almost immediately to the positive vibes in their heads. Moreso pay attention to cause and effect, the ability for you to reason well is what makes you greater than every other individual. I had a friend who said he thought about his future 200 times in a day lol...... Quite funny, I told him to calm down then act. There are also some that think too much and then they end up talking to themselves (Soliloquizing). Act on the positive vibes on your head and lift every other to GOD ALMIGHTY in prayers. |

He wasn't particularly talking about the facilities but simple procedures which ordinary paramedics could do. Like I said, many of you get off ridiculing yourselves but erroneously believed that you are ridiculing a geographical name The reason why I replied you is because of your last sentence "Enjoy your foolishness" I know this is NL and multitudes here are so insultive, hope you aren't one lol...... You guys just like to ridicule your country not knowing that you are ridiculing yourselves because you are what make up Nigeria, Nigeria is just a name of a geographical place. Enjoy your foolishness Is he lying? Anyone sick is taken abroad for treatment why? Because you're a Nigerian and he is a Nigerian doesn't make him reason the way you reason. Telling the truth about your brother doesn't mean you ridiculed him. We have doctor who are capable but where are they, all been employed in the US.
