The Honourable Minister of Youths and Sports Development, Sunday Dare, has dismissed reports claiming the NYSC scheme is set to be scrapped, Newspremises reports.

Two days ago, it was widely speculated that the one-year mandatory scheme for all graduates will be scrapped following the second reading of a bill in the House of Representatives seeking to end the scheme which some feel has outlived its usefulness.

Addressing the speculations on his Twitter handle this morning, the Minister said the government is committed to sustaining the scheme.

What were they thinking would be the outcome? Did they oppose the appointment?

Very simple... the criteria of purchasing any simpack is always that you register it there and then before it will be handed to you... it usually takes 2mins to register at any shop...That will reduce crime alot in Nigeria... Attorney General of the federation and minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, was recently a guest at Channels television. Channels TV host, Seun Okinbaloye took up the duty to interview the minister.

However, many Nigerians are of the view that Seun Okinbaloye is not an intelligent host as he failed to ask sensitive and vital questions. They felt Malami should have been grilled with so many big questions in relation to Nigeria’s current situation.

Here are some interesting tweets concerning Seun ‘s interview:

His interviews on channels this days is nothing to write home about, very annoying, asking baby questions instead of reasonable and challenging questions
