Hadampson:although i´ve not been to all parts of Bayern, i´ve met virtually everyone from all the regions here. cos of where i work of course. Bavarians are fun, cultural and strong. most of their women are indpendent, old ones never tire...the landlady of a colleague is 88, this woman still does chores and voluntarily does their laundry. the notion that Germans are racial bla bla is not so here. these guys would kill you of love. once they get to know you, that´s all. trust me, patience is key. although sometimes it could take longer when you´re trying to set p...me myself still dey on hold, e no easy. it´s amazing how my colleagues at work want me to learn their native dialect, Bayerische rather than Deutsch. thanks to them, i know a few words and sentences in Bayerische. yh, they´ve been many instances where Nigerians here dgaf about a fellow Nigerian. it´s really bad. But i believe a few haven´t lost it. one amazing thing some of my colleagues from different nationalities tell me is... i´m the best Nigerian they´ve met. it´s saddening to hear how some folks behave here, it´s really lugubrious but we thank God, some of us still raise the flag high 26 Likes 2 Shares |

Well, my own quota to this is that, it's sometimes amazing how some Germans I've met are way more nicer than many Nigerians. 9 Likes |

Ndkings1: Now this is where I have to come in. First of all fam, don't be misled by anyone here. Most of what @SooCute said is absolutely false. Come to think of it, the resources to thrive academically are here, I and my other naija guy here got very good jobs, grades and everything we wished for. I won't go further in listing all. But folks, don't be misled. Fun fact is, Bavaria is the best place to be in Germany. The nicest Germans are actually Bavarians. Please, don't argue that with me!! Just cos you didn't get what you wanted or wished for doesn't mean you generalise and misinformed innocent people. Stay woke fam. Don't be misled! 4 Likes 1 Share |

MissNK:most of the schools here don´t defer admission, so if you can wrap everything up asap and get an early visa interview date, go for it! But waiting till winter apps starts isn´t bad ok |

To my folks that applied to THD, master in Mechatronics and CPS, although you met the minimum admission requirement, you were not admitted simply because some other applicants were better qualified, based on other documents submitted. I hear they didn´t request for SOP or GRE or certain tests scores or reference letters, but remember you´re always asked to provide docs that would aid your application. Be that as it may, the strongest element in an application is a SOP/motivational letter. Work experience, vocational skills et al are ephemeral... Trust me, the competition would be more come winter 2019 application. I´d advice you start preparing right now. Take IELTS/TOEFL, GRE isn´t too much. Give your best in writing your SOP. When all these are checked, then you look for schools that are easy to apply for (yh yh don´t forget your prefered choice of course ) No offence, but these Indians that are 96% of our class aren´t more qualified than some of us here, but they know what it takes to be admitted and they did the needful. So also the incoming students. I´m not saying you should engage in any frivolous act or falsified ish, but you gotta take this application P We all gotta thrive, I´m no clairvoyant or seen no crystal ball, but I know what runs through the mind of the average person applying. Better luck next time! |

Hello everyone. To my folks that applied to THD for master in Mechatronics... Note that 1. The cut off is 75%. (I heard in my own time it was much lower and just 350 people from the globe applied and they admitted 100, but not all came through, visa ish and all. But in your set, its 1200+ applicants and they intend admitting just 100). 2. The first batch of admission letters has been sent. 3. Other batches would be sent and wrapped up hopefully this Friday. 4. May the odds be in your favour. Good luck to those selected |

Buliwyf:well, to y´all that applied, keep calm ok i told you they got 34 applications from naija and over 1200 globally just for the course, and they´re admitting just 100. I asked the professor that´d decide and send the letters, he said he might send the first batch this week and then the last one, next week. He actually is our current dean and very very busy, he also got 2 of our courses to mark and all. So trust me, delay is possible, but just stay calm and positive ok. Suffice to say that I told them about the urgency of the admission letter, as the nearest interview dates are being booked already. So to avoid late drama and stories that touch, make they do sharp sharp. I hope this calms all your nerves and nips down. 6 Likes |

Dreamchaserz:certify each document. If it's 10 schools, you'd 10 times for every document. Also, note that you're only certifying a photocopied document, just to authenticate it. Frohe neues Jahr alles Let the admission letters start rolling in ok |

mroyato:Hi 1. Yes they do, although I did IELTS in my own time and GRE to boost my application profile. But that was way before I started applying to any school. 2. Sure. I read mechanical engineering. And I'm here. Infact a high percentage of us in class read mechanical engineering 3. You apply directly to the school, no need for uni-assist for this course. |
