If you can manage to buy the building materials yourself from wholesalers and even coached the project yourself, you can build a similar house with same quality for 12 - 14m.
That was the mistake I made. I entrusted everything to a friend.

N25 million will buy you 5,800,000 of UPDC REIT and will give you an income of N3.3 million by October 2020.

Google UPDC REIT they have investments in a number of highbrow property valued at over N30 billion and also have over N5 billion of part of the rent collected over the years invested in highly liquid assets suchTreasury Bills, money market funds, commercial papers, FG bonds, State bonds and corporate bonds
Wow!
If 25 million naira can buy 5,800,000 units of UPDC REIT and one will get 3.3 million by October 2020, I won't mind to invest in it. Elder, hope one would not lose part of the capital? Is it liquid?
Can one also reinvest the proceeds?
Thank you.

millions my foot. That cars sell between 1m and 1.2m (total cost) in US and Canada. You think all of us here are novice?

In car business, you sell with low profit and buy another one. If I buy car 1.2m, I will tag it 1.6m for faster sales which will ofcus draw attention of buyers.

If I check cars online and see a price tag of 1.6m and 2.3m negotiable. I won't even bother contacting the one for 2.3m cos I know it's a greedy seller and there is no how I will price it that he will sell it 1.5m.

You don't put all your responsibility on cars cos it takes u 3 month to get it. People are wise now due to internet. they will check the actual value in US or Canada before buying.

I am giving you this tips to make your selling faster. I won't be surprised if you keep updating that car for months if not years without a buyer.

Good luck in your sales.
If you can land this car in Nigeria, I will pay you 1.3m Naira. Are you ready? You and I will involve Seun (Founder of Nairaland) or any of his MODs; I will transfer 1.3m Naira to him so that you will be rest assure that I mean it. The money will be transferred to you after inspection.

If you are ready, let us know.

If my bank tells me $50 nko? I suppose somebody has done this dollar fund in this platform - I need an upfront info to make a decision when I approach banks.
I was charged 135$ for transferring 13k$. Banks have different charges for cash deposit or inflow into your account. I was charged 3.5$ when I withdrew 7k$. The 7k$ was cash deposit while the 13k$ was inflow.

I hope we are not digressing from the purpose of this thread?

Successful investors are diversified and have investments in different businesses and asset classes.

I usually invested my dividends in Treasury Bills, money market funds and to also expand my business. I use a certain percentage from the profit of my business to buy shares, Treasury Bills, Money market funds. When I make profit selling some of my overvalued shares, I usually invest the lump sum on real estate investments.

Started diversifying into Eurobond funds about 3 months ago
I started 3 months ago too.

Elder, can I do MMF with FSDH or can you recommend another investment house?
Merry Christmas, sir!
Car TalkRe: Tekowi: Armoured Vehicles Manufactured By Obasa Specialty Vehicle In Ekiti State by IamR: 5:16pm On Dec 21, 2019
ColonelEmeka:
Armoured vehicles manufactured by two brothers in Ekiti state for the usage of their father and for the police. Nigerians indeed have the talent and with home front focus we will get there

Obasa Specialty Vehicle (OSV), located in Ijero-Ekiti, Ekiti State, has unveiled an all-terrain vehicle named Tekowi.

The vehicle, the company said, was manufactured at its factory in Ijero-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

The company was commissioned on December 5, 1980 by the late High Chief Joe Oluware Obasa, a car distributor for Peugeot Automobile Nigeria (PAN). The company was upgraded to manufacture special vehicles for security personnel and civilian uses by his two sons High Chief Johnson Obasa and Victor Obasa.

Speaking at the unveiling, High Chief Obasa said Tekowi was coined from “te oko wi,” an Ekiti local dialect which means sandals or boots that farmers and hunters wear regularly to the bush to stamp on anything. He also said that Tekowi is a combination of ruggedness and luxury.

According to Victor, Tekowi’s unique design features four-wheel drive, high ground clearance, Custom interior tailored to customer specification, Stereo system integrated with latest technology, Diamond floor plate flooring, reinforced steel structure, double utility storage, engine air scoop and name branding option.

He said Tekowi is hand crafted with simple tools and locally sourced materials. The Owa Ajero of Ijero Kingdom Ekiti, Oba Adebayo Adewole, said the development that OSV has brought to the Ijero Ekiti community will go a long way to encourage his people and create a lot of opportunities.

Sunpower 300w solar mono panels (4 pcs)

The above is what our set up comprises of, and they are all rugged brands serving us well.
Thanks

600k

My advice is.. Run! We first did one for 280k,it was a bad experience.. The solar panels could not charge it effectively cos they were not enough, the inverter was 800va,the battery was just 1 pcs 200ah, the charge controller was rubbish. It was upon research we discovered these lapses which wasn't the installers fault, but our low budget's fault.

We had to close eye to get a bigger set up and it's been money well spent. If u want to enjoy solar, u need to cough out good money so u can buy good brands and the right capacity of the components it needs to work. That way u won't overwork it and it will serve u well.Management for solar issue will definitely end in tears. Most installers won't tell u this so as not to chase u away. They will install u low rating components that's cheap, and leave u to suffer it later. It's very common with all this their package. If u want to do it, try and research about brands, adequate rating or capacity of inverter, panels and battery u would need and get them yourself . Don't go for those installer packages. Just call them to install it when u are done.
Sis, please can you name good brands?
