Glory to God... I arrived dubai few hours ago.

Many ups and down... But thank God I have backup

From Egypt air transit wahala... No hotel, we slept in the hotel, and the cold is very much, the Ac was on not like Nigeria Ac than can't blow dust away.

UBA bank wahala of not profiling my card when I requested so I can use it here, and allowing the atm here debit me with dispensing.

To the formal hotel I booked and already cancel few weeks ahead debiting me, which deprive me access to the funds to pay my new hotel.... I had no choice than to cancel one for another.

Well am here and I believe I should have a good memory.
"No hotel, we slept in the hotel"

Getting accommodation outside the city is always not the best due to the cost of transportation, especially if it is far from the train stations.

Ezewuzie01:
The streets elected him. David Lyon is a street man which means he will have better knowledge of what the people really want.
You're very correct. At least, he has the minimum education requirement to be a state Governor. That is enough for us in Bayelsa. We go where GEJ goes.

Don't ever make the mistake of going into a business you don't understand, unless you are ready to be an apprentice under someone who has succeeded in that line of business.
That is why I can't go into farming or transport business. That doesn't mean those businesses are not profitable
You are right Elder. My mistake, though. I have tried transportation and agriculture and I came out hurt.

Let us see the bright side of life, if we see a messed up Nigeria it is unfortunate that is what we will see around us.

To an extent every nation ought to have a degree of food security.
A situation whereby we have cotonou garri in the market is not good enough.

Our youths need to learn marketable skills.
It is unfortunate that most of the the artisans used in the building and construction industry are foreigners from Benin, Togo, Ghana and others.

Our youths are busy working as Okada riders.
Elder Emma, I know a welder that came to Bayelsa to work, but due to lack of electricity, he was left with no option other than to start driving Keke. I agree with you sir, that most artisans are non-Nigerians; most Nigerian youths are on the fast lane. They do not have the patience those foreigners have. It wasn't like this a decade ago.

Even a farmer can't tell too. that explains the risk involved in channeling your money into that sector. our leaders are just using try by error method to run the country.
I tried it three years ago and I had my fingers burnt. I didn't even see one-third of my capital. The only consolation till now is the acres of land that I bought.

OgogoroFreak:
How long do you think the boarder would remain closed? That's the fear for most farmers.

Imagine a farmer takes huge loan and increases his farm and poultry yield, then, suddenly boarders are opened shocked

Remember recently Emefele and not the custom boss was assuring Buhari that the boarders will remain closed - everything is messed up in this part of the world
Anyone that ventures into agriculture just because of border closure would be taken a great risk. It is known to even the dead that everything is totally messed up in Nigeria.
As for me and my small money, we are not going to be used as a litmus test. Let's see how far Emefiele would go. Now, I see new monikers here on a daily basis, trying to lure us to pull our money from treasury bills and invest in a worthless real economy. We have passed that stage here o.

is it a crime for him to be giving the presidency slot? I will not vote for the PDP in 2023 if they keep on producing a Northerner.
It tired me o. I don't know why some people think that PDP cannot or should not field a candidate from the south for the 2023 presidential election.

You are absolutely right about Timi. Dickson should be held responsible. Anyway you can't trust politicians. I won't be surprised if Dickson joins the APC in a short time. It seems to me some PDP governors have been selling out.
Dickson should not only be held responsible, he should also be expelled from the party. His greeds brought Bayelsa PDP to where it is now. Bayelsans voted against Dickson, and I am sure that they are still loyal to the party and not to Dickson. If it were to be Timi Alaibe, PDP would have won with wide margin.
Shame on Dickson.

I will advise you spread the money between bonds, Treasury Bills, money market funds and Eurobond.
We are not sure of the future of the Naira in 2 years time.

If you are like me I will also consider investing in stocks like Nestle, Dangote cement, Zenith and GTB.

N1 million invested in GTB in 2000 is now worth over N100 million, the dividend received in 2018 is 10 times the amount invested.
God bless you Elder!

Very good, you paid N20 million because you bought from the secondary market.

You will need about N100 million to buy FGN bond from the primary market.

With a minimum of $2500 you can also invest in the Eurobond fund of FBN Quest Merchant Bank @ 6%.

You are sure of the preservation of your fund from currency devaluation
Elder Emma, in my own case sir, I want to mop up all my treasury bills by January to raise about 30m naira. I have done Eurobond with around 13k$; I want to put 25m naira in FGN Bond secondary market and still put 5m naira in treasury bills. My spouse prefers we put the whole 30m in FGN Bond which I am not in support. What have you to say to this, Elder Emma and madam needful?

I am ready sir. In fact, I am in Lagos now. The moment I read the news this morning, I lost my appetite. I couldn't even eat the refreshment Airpeace served me.

Even if its true it's an inner caucus plan....no publication or circular to that effect .

Let's keep our finger crossed.......

My question is that was @dipoolowoo quoting punch newspaper or businessdaily or both.
Thank you for this additional info, at least we info from two banks now.
PoliticsRe: Bamidele Salam Challenges Fashola To 90-Day Road Travel Tour by IamR: 5:19pm On Nov 07, 2019
Fashola should start from Enugu to Onitsha
Yenagoa/Mbiama to Port Harcourt
Suleija to Minna
Akwanga to Jos
Ikeja to Abeokuta

I am sure when he returns, he will apologize to all Nigerians on his insensitive comment.

I just spoke with a friend in charge of treasury bills in one of the regional head office. He said the news in punch newspaper also came as a rumour to them because they have not received any instruction to that effect from their headquarters in Lagos or from CBN.

He promised to keep me abreast of any new development in individuals' participation in treasury bills investment.
