OgogoroFreak: Even a farmer can't tell too. that explains the risk involved in channeling your money into that sector. our leaders are just using try by error method to run the country. I tried it three years ago and I had my fingers burnt. I didn't even see one-third of my capital. The only consolation till now is the acres of land that I bought. |

OgogoroFreak: How long do you think the boarder would remain closed? That's the fear for most farmers.
Imagine a farmer takes huge loan and increases his farm and poultry yield, then, suddenly boarders are opened
Remember recently Emefele and not the custom boss was assuring Buhari that the boarders will remain closed - everything is messed up in this part of the world Anyone that ventures into agriculture just because of border closure would be taken a great risk. It is known to even the dead that everything is totally messed up in Nigeria. As for me and my small money, we are not going to be used as a litmus test. Let's see how far Emefiele would go. Now, I see new monikers here on a daily basis, trying to lure us to pull our money from treasury bills and invest in a worthless real economy. We have passed that stage here o. |

BabaOwen: is it a crime for him to be giving the presidency slot? I will not vote for the PDP in 2023 if they keep on producing a Northerner. It tired me o. I don't know why some people think that PDP cannot or should not field a candidate from the south for the 2023 presidential election. |

Bennycollins: You are absolutely right about Timi. Dickson should be held responsible. Anyway you can't trust politicians. I won't be surprised if Dickson joins the APC in a short time. It seems to me some PDP governors have been selling out. Dickson should not only be held responsible, he should also be expelled from the party. His greeds brought Bayelsa PDP to where it is now. Bayelsans voted against Dickson, and I am sure that they are still loyal to the party and not to Dickson. If it were to be Timi Alaibe, PDP would have won with wide margin. Shame on Dickson. |

emmanuelewumi: I will advise you spread the money between bonds, Treasury Bills, money market funds and Eurobond. We are not sure of the future of the Naira in 2 years time.
If you are like me I will also consider investing in stocks like Nestle, Dangote cement, Zenith and GTB.
N1 million invested in GTB in 2000 is now worth over N100 million, the dividend received in 2018 is 10 times the amount invested. God bless you Elder! |

emmanuelewumi: Very good, you paid N20 million because you bought from the secondary market.
You will need about N100 million to buy FGN bond from the primary market.
With a minimum of $2500 you can also invest in the Eurobond fund of FBN Quest Merchant Bank @ 6%.
You are sure of the preservation of your fund from currency devaluation Elder Emma, in my own case sir, I want to mop up all my treasury bills by January to raise about 30m naira. I have done Eurobond with around 13k$; I want to put 25m naira in FGN Bond secondary market and still put 5m naira in treasury bills. My spouse prefers we put the whole 30m in FGN Bond which I am not in support. What have you to say to this, Elder Emma and madam needful? |

He promised to keep me abreast of any new development in individuals' participation in treasury bills investment. |
