The Nigerian Police has said it will not interfere in the ongoing investigation of the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Abba Kyari following his arrest in connection with his alleged involvement in a drug deal.

Acting Force PRO, Csp Muyiwa Adejobi, told Channels Television on Tuesday that the Police Force cannot account for any illicit deal undertaken by a suspended officer of the force, but for the serving officers being investigated, the police will expect feedback from the NDLEA.

The police had handed over the suspended DCP Kyari and four others to the NDLEA, on Monday, a few hours after he was declared wanted by the agency.

They were accused of corruption and unprofessional infractions, as well as tampering with narcotic exhibits.

“The arrest of the officers was sequel to pieces of information received from the leadership of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) on 10th February 2022,” said Adejobi who is a Chief Superintendent of Police. “In line with standard administrative procedure of the Force, the Inspector General of Police ordered a high-level, discreet, and in-house investigation into the allegations.

NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, who also confirmed the development said: “The agency wishes to assure that no stone will be left unturned to ensure that all suspects already in custody and those that may still be indicted in the course of the investigation will face the full weight of the law at the end of the ongoing probe.”

While still on suspension and prior to the arrest, the embattled police boss was expected to face prosecution in 2021 for his alleged role in a $1m scam allegedly perpetrated by international Internet fraudster Ramon Abbas, aka, Hushpuppi and five others.

In summary, COVID-19 vaccines doesn't immune you from contacting COVID-19 in the future, it's only claimed to reduce the chances of complications and fatality from the diseases in case of future occurrences.

An image of wanted Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) John Umoru, a police officer has surfaced online.

Umoru popularly know as 'Too Much Money' has been declared wanted in connection to illegal dealings with embattled Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Abba Kyari.
The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) on asked the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to produce its officers that worked with suspended DCP Abba Kyari in an exposed cocaine deal.

The Inspector General, Usman Baba, made the demand after handing over indicted personnel to the anti-narcotics agency.

Baba revealed in-house investigation established reasonable grounds for strong suspicion that the IRT officers were involved in some underhand and unprofessional dealings and corruption.
The IGP noted that their actions compromised ethical standards in their dealings with the suspects and exhibits recovered.

The police said the international narcotics cartel under probe have strong ties with some NDLEA officers at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, and “are on their payroll”.

“The two arrested drug couriers confirmed that the modus is for the transnational drug barons to conspire with the NDLEA officers on duty and send them their pre-boarding photographs for identification, seamless clearance, and unhindered passage out of the airport with the narcotics being trafficked.

“The two arrested drug couriers also confirmed that they have been enjoying this relationship with the NDLEA officers at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport since 2021.”

Baba said they had, in the case of 19th January 2022, been identified and cleared by the NDLEA officers as customary, having received their pre-departure photographs and other details prior to their arrival in Enugu.

They were on their way out with the narcotics when they were apprehended by the Police”, the statement noted.

“The concerned officers include DCP Abba Kyari, ACP Sunday Ubuah, ASP Bawa James, ASP John Umoru (at large), Inspr. Simon Agrigba and John Nuhu. They have all been, accordingly, handed over today 14th February 2022 to the NDLEA authorities.”

The IGP assured of his administration’s commitment to upholding ethical regeneration, restoration of professional standards, enhancement of the anti-corruption drive and respect for the rule of law.

Novak Djokovic has said he would rather miss out on future tennis trophies than be forced to get a Covid vaccine.

Why should the horses be whipped at all? How does whipping a horse because of pecuniary gain become less a cruelity than someone kicking his cat? So as the horse is being whipped, am sure the horse is enjoying it, right?

Yea,I have seen it,not justifiable,but he didn't kick the cat for fun.
He kicked the cat because it messed up his room,even though the way he handled the issue was inappropriate.

The ball boy withheld the ball to give the home team advantage by causing delay. Hazard was frustrated and reacted and mind you hazard was also a teenager or 20 then so he was disciplined but not too much.

Zouma did his for fun. An american baseball player's contract of 100 million dollars was cancelled because he was doing street dog fight. They know the consequences but chose to be foolish by doing it, recording it and making it go viral. Gross stupidity!
