Good evening everyone, I have an issue, I just met this girl recently. At first she seemed very calm quite and reserved until I got to find out that she is this very impatient type of person that gets angry easily and talks back at one, if I ever try to raise my voice at her when she does something I don't like she will be like "are you shouting at me I don't understand, you are raising your voice?"

I am now even scared to talk to her and correct her because she will talk back at me and it will lead to argument because I hate my gf talking back at me, and she is so fucking proud and won't calm down and I too am the type that get angry easily, I can't seem to cope with this her character guys I'm thinking of ending the relationship, but it's hard cause I got attached to her already

She has refused to be controlled and like to do what ever pleases her. She basically wants to make the rules in this relationship and I don't want to let her so I don't seem like a weak man. We have broken up and made up twice now because of this anger issue we can't seem to tolerate each other and I don't want or give her the chance to make the rules

Going by your narrative and not by your chronological age, it can be deduced you are still a boy. Or real gentleman. Or good boy. Putting it more bluntly, you are still naive. A greenhorn with the ladies. But its all good; we all begin somewhere.

The areas i can contest quite validly are the trend with 'baby mamas' and western feminism as you mentioned.

On baby mamas, i would argue you are making a hasty generalization. For now, baby mamas represent the minority in terms of the demography of women who want a child out of wedlock. Carry out an educational survey of the young women in your area to try and determine their preferences on the matter. Yes, there are high statistics of pregnancies out of wedlock but have you also checked the abortion rate? Or why do you think they call them 'unwanted' pregnancies? The majority of women would prefer not to be associated with a bastard child. The ideal of a baby mama is still an exception to that rule. So, yes, the majority of women still crave the institution of marriage if for nothing else than to avoid the stigma of a 'bastard child'. If you had perhaps stated, instead, that the institution of marriage is being ravaged by an unprecedented high rate of divorce then i would agree with you. But, initially, the average woman would still, at her core, want to associate with a man in marriage.

On the second point you raised on foreign feminists, not to belittle the experience you must have had, but may i ask, to which country do you reference? Or, better put, arent you simply describing a supportive , industrious woman? (Which we also have in abundance here in Nigeria). In your previous post, you seemed to have a handle on the definition of feminism ie 'equality between the genders in all things'. Should we reiterate?

I am not being boastful to tell you that, yes, i have travelled abroad(a couple of states in the USA)and have encountered foreign feminism, if we can put it that way. A feminist is a feminist, regardless of race, location or even gender( Justin Trudeau, Canadian PM is a self-described feminist). A feminist always argues for the equality of sexes. A core feminist goes the extra mile in trying to demonstrate this argument. Now, that is when things tend to go south quickly. And the reason isnt far-fetched... the premise of feminism- complete equality amongst the sexes is flawed.

To this end, i am not even suggesting that a male is superior to the female or vice versa. My argument rather is that we are biologically different, male and female and this fact by itself discriminates values and roles between the sexes.

I dont see no 'mad man' here. I see a man on a mission. And he is steadily, steadfastly achieving his goal.

I wanted to ask if you were a psychologist. You're spot on on one or two things. My sister is actually the apple of my mother's eyes. She can do no wrong in her eyes.

However, my mum isn't egotistical, savage or demanding. She just has expectations as any nigerian mother will have. Traditional and narrow minded indeed. Despite being highly religious, I sometimes wonder where she puts her faith seeing that she's completely written me off on this marriage matter. My younger sister is married and the one after her had her introduction last December.

My mum isn't a bad person at all. Only lacks good parenting skills. Like the rest of us, she has flaws. Most of her utterances come from a very negative mindset, like, if you aren't giving her results, she'll think the worst of you and essentially keep you on the back burner. She's one of my motivations for success. Also, I sometimes think about the possibility of dating discreetly and shocking my family with introduction and wedding simultaneously.

The threshold where some respect is earned? In Nigeria, about the ngn100k mark would do(this figure representing savings after household expenditures) otherwise, you are taking a big, fat, potentially fatal(depending on how emotionally strong u are) risk, being in a relationship.
