Oladat, those channels u listed I believe are being broadcasted in mpeg4 format and your 4663 happens to be an mpeg 2 reciever, so get an mpeg 4 or hd reciever n u will be good to go. I hope u understand these.

The red classic and samson did excellently well on fringe reception from zap on 36-turkish package on astra 1g to sky on astra to badr on 26 to eurobird 25.5 just 2 tps to hotbird.atlantic bird 3 to rascom 2-8,to nilesat and ab7. And hispasat. Those were the sat i was able to achieved.fixed dish gives better signal than motorised so if u are using those lnbs on fixed you stand the chance to give your dish maximum teaking or skewing.

I said b4 that testing should be on fringe reception only n not on dth frequencies. U know, something like †ђε̲ way lkiriye did. Some tps from hotbird, nilesat,astra,hispasat etc will be tested by each lnb and performance recorded.

Well done nelly, would have luvd to be wit u yesterday to enjoy those lnbs testing, unfortunately the down pour was so heavy i̲̅n my area but kudos to u. Having said that, I'm very sure †ђε̲ performance of the various lnbs would have been much better if †ђε̲ testing was done on a fixed system. Then i̲̅n your report also, try and name †ђε̲ tps ( if u still remember ) of †ђε̲ various sats u tested, excluding †ђε̲ dth tps. Thanx again nelly.

house pls help me,i try to retrack hotbird 13e today from my present nilesat 7w.i was able to track w3a 7e and eutelsat 16e,try to dance in btw but i was unable to nail d bird with my 3metre fibre dish.pls which tp is d best to track now, then it was fun tv tp,is there any other reference point better than 7e and 16east?

Stop wasting urs and other peoples time, 1KZN and BAY TV, if u are not getting them, then they are simply not receiveable from ur location.

odilibe: it seems like nilesat has better fta channels than hotbird ,but more scrambled channels are on hotbird than nilesat,i can now imagine what you mean. hahahaha!!!!

I feel him too, u know hotbird has got lots of european providers on board than nile. BUD is where fta really is.

@All, for me, a discussion on any dth provider ( hacking ) in these country should not be allowed on this thread, at †ђe same time, those. Of u who think u can get ds to get on there knees by installing fta dishes everywhere must be joking.My friends, †ђe chinko's have come to do that for us. Find a thread where such yarn is allowed and upgrade, stop forcing it on nairaland.
