Politics › Re: How Mdas Spent Over N1bn To Prepare 2020 Budget — TribuneOnline by ibechris(m): 6:22pm On Oct 29, 2019
nextstep:
Na wah. 1 billion just to say how you will spend money. They haven't even spent the real money yet.
Is there a budget item for this expenditure?

So what are we to say when police asks for 300 Naira for borrowing pen, or ministry people want 2k for printing CofO?
Let me explain to u how it works, when they work out the actual money u are meant to pay for either C of O or mortgage, the officer will call u to tell u the actual figure and thereafter, tell u that he can reduce the cost for only if u can settle him with some cash as agreed. After everything, peanut will be paid to govt, while huge amount would be given to the officer. It happens in my office but God will help me not to be involved. I can't use my hands to destroy my family just by taking bribes. No no no!

I don't have that kind of mind.

Iam sorry to state that iam not gullble enough to swallow this story whole .

There is a deliberate attempt to tarnish image of islam ,an underground and much bigger plot about to be played or hidden motive ..How ever ..they won't succeed
Hmmm, sorry for u. Tarnish which religion?
Do u need anybody to tell u that islam is a polluted religion.?
A religion that breeds terrorists all over the world, creating tension, woes and beheading at will.
Heaven and earth bear me witness, this religion is not of God. It is evil from inception.
Muhammed was not of God and that is why many Muslims are finding the truth.

Islam is a religion of sword for sword. Those who practice islam in Nigeria and beyond have no peace. Virtually everyone who practice this devil inspired religion is always armed with dagger and charm.

Islam is the number one reason why Nigeria has been reduced to nothing but a laughing stock internationally. Islam in Nigeria abhors development and that is why every core area of the north is like Somalia. Am not surprised.
Islam breeds hate, strife and disunity. Even the devil is aghast at what a Muslim can do.

There is absolutely no freedom in Islam, is either u are chained or chained by brain washing. Useless religion that has kept all men on their toes since the birth of Muhammed. A fake prophet that was poisoned. Rubbhsh

You're wrong, because the content of this write up is the truth. The person that wrote is a good person that wants the readers to understand that ASUU has a genuine reason to reject the untoward policy. Did you even click on the links below to discover the corruption in IPPIS? When you see facts, you should reason with it. Those links show what people that have enrolled in IPPIS are suffering and that is part of why ASUU is rejecting it. We should face facts and not insinuations. Besides, IPPIS is designed for core civil servants and University workers are not in that category.
I am a beneficiary of this IPPIS and I can tell u how good the scheme is. Many lecturers are holding too many positions in different Universities and u know the implication... the students are the ones suffering. I used to know one then that comes from UNN and he will mass up a lecture of three months in one day. Meaning, if u don't understand it,u should read it up.
Most beneficiaries are HODs and VC academics. Terrible people!
This ASUU is about to crash land. Even the court of law will not save u guys. If there is nothing to fear, why should anyone condemn IPPIS.

Politics › Re: What We Will Do If Border Closure Remains –Ghana Traders Union by ibechris(m): 11:12am On Oct 28, 2019
Johans1991:
U want Nigeria to open border but you pursue Dangote from your country.
You lobbied Toyota to site their production plant in Ghana knowingly well that u don't have d market to give them. You were targeting Nigerian market now we don Wise up .
We will all go back to patronized innoson motors.
Any company that want the 200 millions Nigerians to patronized their goods should come and site their company in Nigerian. We have the land, the manpower and the market.
See my brother take it easy, the point is clear, Ghana needs Nigeria more than ever. Therefore, Nigeria is the biggest trading partner Ghanian can boast of in Africa.
Complain less, because the major reason why Nigeria closed this border is not because we don't want Ghana to succeed economically, but we have crisis in Nigeria. Armed bandits have more guns than the Nigerian police and army put together and the best way to checkmate this looming problem is by closing the border temporarily. And we all know that nothing goes for nothing, therefore let us all feel the pain.
Consequently, Nigeria is the giant of Africa, there was a saying in all those good old days that says,if Nigeria sneezes Ghana will catch cold. Now we all see why Ghana was mentioned and not even Niger and Benin republic. Ghana seems to be disturbed and pained for this singular act by the Nigerian govt, all because of the little sneezes.
If I were Nigeria,I rather use the border closure to as a bait to correct a lot of ills in those countries where our brothers and sisters are being tortured and maltreated for being Nigerians, examples are South Africa,Togo,Ghana and Cameroun. These countries especially our neighbour,Ghana,I would have prefer Ghana to suffer for being ungrateful and stupid. This was a country that Nigeria catered for her citizens when they were devastated economically. Yes! we gave them everything including free education and name it. Yet,they claimed nothing was given to them.
And for those who might be incensed with this measure, this is the only way to proof to them that we are the true "Giant of Africa" like this comment or not, Ghana must bow.

See ASUU or wetin them call una. IPPIS is compulsory for all. And its payment is without a hitch and best way to help the govt confirm how many people are on their payroll and interestingly, how many lecturers are holding double employment in govt owned Universities.

There are multi-dimensional function to this IPPIS scheme,it will expose deep rooted corrupt system, thereby reducing the concocted running cost in the system.

If ASUU has nothing to hide why are they sceptical, runing to schedule a meeting with some people at the national assembly for help?

Smartness- but as a knowledgeable guy in finance, you can outsmart them by not falling for it.

The terms were stated clearly 4% per month. So those that are not smart would look at only the 4% not knowing that they are paying 48% per annum(4% * 12months).

The same thing that happens in the cooperative at my place of work. The interest is 10%. But if you want to borrow 1million, you have to have 500k saved in the cooperative. So the 10% is charged on the 1 million you borrowed and you can’t touch the 500k you’ve saved until you pay the 1 million naira completely.

I was trying to educate my colleagues that the interest is actually 20%.

Is it the biggest market in Africa yet Anambra is not rank among the richest state in Nigeria. Come to Abuja and specifically,Emab plaza,u need 20million naira to take over from another person shop in case the person is no longer interested in business anymore. I mean,u are not buying the shop,it's just sub let. And I can assure u that 10million will buy u more shops in that Ochanja than any where else in Nigeria.

Being the biggest does not translate to progress. After all,it can be big for nothing compare to Wuse market in Abuja.

dollarlander:
Where do you leave in Nigeria. Well anyway, where you leave does not really matter as long as you have the zeal to make money.
I will advice you invest your money in landed properties. If you leave in cities like Port Harcourt I think you will understand what I mean.
A plot of land in Port Harcourt 7 years ago that was sold for #700,000 now goes for #18,000,000. If I lies call anyone you know in port Harcourt to confirm.

Though this rate of property appreciation is not everywhere in port Harcourt, but there are some areas where this happens.
The area a friend of mine lives, 4 years a go a plot of land there was #1.5mln, two and half plots were sold on the same street 5 weeks ago for #22mln naira.

So, poster, the pace at which properties are appreciating in some cities in Nigeria, should make young people who are making money whether legally or illegally (and wants to quit 419 activities), to invest those money in property business.

Read up about property business and do yourself good investing your money for your future.
I have one advice for u,if u must encourage people to invest pls, learn to be honest in ur advice. Never use words like whether legal or not legal. U are might be destroying souls. Money is not everything.

What goes around comes around.

Two Economies

There are basically two economies in the world and every nation on the face of the earth fall under either of them.

These are:

* The Knowledge Economy

* The Religion Economy

The rich and prosperous nations of the world belong to the Knowledge Economy while the the poorest and poverty stricken nations of the world belong to the Religion Economy.

The Knowledge Economy is one that engages the brain, asks relevant questions, and proffer solutions to problems.

The Religion Economy is one that blackmails God and dumps every responsibilities on Him.

The Knowledge Economy tasks the brain, the Religion Economy numbs the brain.

Japan, for example, is a Knowledge Economy. It has no natural resources but it is a prosperous nation, one of the richest on the planet.

At least six of every ten cars on Nigeria's roads today are Japanese cars.

Japan is not a religious country, but it is one of the most corruption-free nations.

China is not a religious country, but nations that ignore China today do so to their own peril.

Nigeria falls under Religion Economy, everything depends on God.

Nigeria is one of the most endowed nations with natural resources on the face of the earth, yet also among the poorest.

Nigeria wears proudly the badge of the "poverty capital of the world" and is one of the most corrupt nations on the face of the earth.

It is also one of the most religious countries on the planet.

It is a nation where everything depends on God, and God watches in disgust as we mortgage our brains.

Even security agencies that are constitutionally funded from budgets look up to God to carry out their duties.

But here is the irony.

The two major religions of the world, Christianity and Islam, emanated from Israel and Saudi Arabia respectively.

But none of those two nations fall under Religion Economy.

None!

One of the evidences of their subscription to Knowledge Economy is the yearly pilgrimages that generate for them revenues in billions of dollars.

But hypocritically stupid nations like Nigeria are comfortable disseminating nuisance to humanity with their glamorization of the Religion Economy.

People elected and empowered to do a job will turn around and ask those who elected them to pray.

God is disgusted with Religion Economy.

There's a reason He gave man brain and instructed him to subdue the earth.

If you're a Christian who does not commit yourself to the pursuit of knowledge your life will become a perfect reflection of Nigeria.

That's a fact!

It is an illusion to anticipate wisdom where people do not pay attention to Knowledge.
