carpdiemz: Don’t mind the op , if your uncle could go for his master degree in Australia it means you guys are from rich homes , schooling in Australia is no beans , and with the part that he came back home ; your uncle came back home bcuz he has family money or someone to fall back too , Australia is better than USA and better than some of the countries Nigerians always go for , talk of jobs there many jobs there with good pay , why won’t u pay tax are u in Nigeria ? Where u don’t pay tax , even Nigerians in Australia don’t want anyone to come and spoil it for them it’s a virgin land , pls stop deceiving people , u want to compare the standard of living in Australia to someone who has millions in Nigeria life span is very low here , and talk of money u can’t beat the exchange rate , how many jobs are here in Nigeria , when people say Nigeria is a land of opportunities I laugh , if you don’t have anyone to give u that opportunity my dear u will get old . Living a better life abroad is better than having millions in Nigeria and to get the millions it’s like dreaming U are on point but,Nigeria is a land of opportunity only if u have from 10million and above even 5million can set-up to see those opportunities. I still see Nigeria as the only tax haven country in Africa. |

Theconglomerate: Tenant income is everything so far as property is concerned. Even building shops is still not safe. If you buy anyhow land and build shop, you will hardly have people to rent it,let alone be consistent with rent because of poor location leading to poor tenant that generates poor income Poor is to poor is to poor ratio=better debt owed by tenant. But if you buy better land weh dey for site and build shops there that the tenant make good sales and turnover,do you think the tenant will ever want to owe you?never!! So that make you collect the shop from am give another person?lie lie. I have a small shed where I sell up to 10 baskets of tomatoes in 2 days all retail that can make me 10k a week. Do you think I will ever owe my landlord's 3k monthly rent?impossible. What if i had a backwater located shed instead that i barely sell 2 baskets a week,do you think i will be prompt with rents? Anytime I see ur write about tomatoes business here...I am always proud of u. Keep it up. May God bless u more. |

JavaSQL: Guys this Buhari/Osibanjo campaign just reminded me of the possible outcome of long term investments. 5 years ago dollar here was at N216/$, now dollar is N440/$.
Does it mean in 5 years time dollar could be N880/$. That means if you convert and invest N5m ~ $11,111 in Sukuk bond, after 5 years interest on 5 years will be N2.8m then reconvert capital + interest to USD i.e N7.8m/N880 = $8,863.
It will feel like I swallowed my pride after 5 years. This is what is called peeping into the future...that is exactly where we heading to. Like it or not. |

FeliciaOja: It is now I understand what being strict does, it makes you live a life of pretence, cos when I got into University I wanted to explore everything I didn’t have the chance of doing at home.
I drank alcohol like crazy, smoked weed, hung out with rich boys, partying, doing drugs but when I go visit my Parents, I still act like that innocent girl they have always known.
My Dad’s strictness led to my Pretence, if he had drawn me close like my mum did, I would have been a better kid.
When parents use strictness to shut down a kids curiosity instead of guiding them, you are making matters worse for that kid. Because eventually that curiosity will lead them into adventures and exploring all those things you refused them to..
Looking back, al the flogging I received from my dad only made me more stubborn and ruthless.
Nothing really changed? Until my mum made me change for good.
Parents need to use wisdom not force.. U wanted to spoil jor, my father was a soldier and I can say it without any doubt that he was one of the strictest and hard to deal with kind of man. My childhood friends couldn't enter our compound without them peeping thru the gate or fence. The presence of my dad was the beginning of wisdom. I will not talk about the beating here...but I can only tell u that my mum used to cry seeing my father beat us. In all we went through, we were the best of chdren in my neighborhood in Lagos state, even when we gained admission it never changed us. I think u just decided to be what u love doing. I thank my Dad for enforcing discipline in us and today we talk as if nothing like that happened. |

One of the guys here said, the worst is to marry Nigerian women...I just laugh!
Am not joking,Nigerian women are trained to tolerate shit from men and that is why men like that fellow could spew out his frustration. Our women are the best in Africa...they love u even when u know no one cares.
Make una remain single and to all those who believe in marriage,do not despair, that what God has framed for humanity, shall not derail because of civilization. Old age is real and can be devastating if not well planned, specifically,I am talking to all those who prefer to be single for life, u might be towing the wrong path. Is it the child u didn't nurture or emotionally contributed to his life that would be there for u at old age abi what are ur plans.
Let us be careful what we chose to represent in life because, although time shall reveal our outcome in life. |

Family › Re: Sometimes I Regret Marrying My Wife by Ibechris2: 4:58pm On May 21, 2020 |
A lazy woman that has the strength to beat and bruise children...isn't a good woman!
In all of this,I have so much pity for u and what u are going thru. I am married like u but I think,u need to send that woman away now and let her family retrain her before u can accept her back. A woman that cannot take care of a house cannot be a good business woman, there is no drive in her at all.
The only strength she has amassed is that of beating and lazying about. Well,u ignored the early sign before u committed the relationship to marriage. A woman that grew up in her parents house should know how to cook, and that u didn't take seriously.
Advice is: Take ur wife back to her parents and bring the old woman to take care of ur children pending when she is ready to adjust, then u can accept her. And pls, never u divorce her, because it will ruin ur children's future. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Prophet Joshua Iginla Remarries After Divorcing Yemisi Iginla by Ibechris2: 10:35am On May 21, 2020 |
That he started well does not mean that God is still with him...the way and manner they now divorce their wives, means one should be careful of what most of these pastors are preaching.
There is simply no divorce in the Bible even if ur wife commits adultery. This is because,if u divorce her,u shall also remain single and not remarry else u commit adultery and if,she that has been divorced remarries, she also commits adultery.
Therefore, pastor Iginla has a question mark on his head. |
