Jarus:Yes bros, I go contact you with logistics soonest. Pack your boot for artificial pitch come oh. |
raumdeuter:Me wey never do NYSC? You want make them do me like Aunty Kemi? I no think say Jarus get mind for Nigerian politics. Maybe a clean man can still win in his constituency. For my constituency, na Ateke be kingmaker. |
Emerson makes some decent dribbles. Kovacic low key looking like Dembele. Hard to dispossess in midfield yet useless in the final third of the pitch. |
Missrata finally! |
raumdeuter:When will tkb also go for House of Rep? |
Missrata what a ninny |
Unlimited22:World best should assist him ![]() |
Hahaha. Lloris get luck |
This Arthur looks like what Barca have been missing since Xavi |
larride:type me your email here please. My PM to email is not working |
naija01:You should not be beaten with what was really a chip from outside your box while standing on your goal line. Goalkeeper coach will tell you he failed to sort his feet out for that jump. Especially for a keeper of his height, he must get his footwork sorted |
Thecassanova:He mess up there |
This Barkley is a real eediot trying to dribble in central midfield for no reason |
Willian has been lazy all game. He should get the eff out the pitch. This header Liverpool just had is cos he was lazily watching as Milner made overlap. |
Hazaaaaaaaaarrrddd |
raumdeuter:If his GPA was 5, yours must be 2.5. Next time you claim Chelsea fans are illiterates, think about your GPA. ![]() |
nihilistjnr:That was back in 2010. Arnautovic has admitted he was a confused youngster then but has now grown up. Arnautovic is my favourite EPL striker at the moment. He has the strength and touch of Ibrahimovic, with the speed of Aguero. It is a shame he converted to CF so late in his career, he would definitely be striking for a top club if the change came earlier. |
larrode please drop me your email Addy here. It's like my NL PM isn't connected to my email |
EmmGee:No bros. |
obainojazz:All online The BSc fee is £250 https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/exam-entry-and-administration/oxford-brookes-bsc-hons-in-applied-accounting.html The Masters fee is £2k https://www.brookes.ac.uk/courses/postgraduate/applied-accounting-msc/ ACCA 13 EXAMS at average £150 each for exam fees and reading materials = £2,000 During your 3 years you will prolly pay £100 per year to ACCA for student membership fees = £300 So I say N1.3m takes care of ACCA and BSc comfortably Then another circa N1m will take care of MSc |
larride:Send me PM |
larride:ACCA alone, I reckon N1m-N1.2m over 3 years so about N400K per year. Add Oxford Brookes BSc and MSc will push you between N1.5m-N1.7m. That's paying for exams and course materials plus Oxford Brookes fee. No lessons. I don't think any serious person will need lessons to pass the exams. ACCA used to have 14 exams. I think they just cut it down to 13. With degree in accounting already, you should get exemption for F1-F4 if your uni is recognised, meaning you have only 9 exams. After writing F5 - F9, you can submit your thesis to Oxford Brookes for BSc. This stage should take you no more than 1 year-1.5 years given your background. Then another 4 exams and you can submit your MSc thesis. This is an additional 1 year. With these, you can establish yourself in Nigeria if all else fails, and provide the platform to get a job abroad when you go for Masters. Going abroad for Masters is not a problem, it is having the skills/qualifications to get a job while abroad to establish your stay there. Be wary of doing Masters abroad without Chartership cos chances of getting the job to keep you abroad will be lower. |
larride:Correct me if wrong but didn't you study Medicine? There may be a 3rd option which is ACCA which achieves all of your goals. ICAN is 3 years. ACCA can be finished in 2.5 to 3 years picking up BSc and MSc from Oxford Brookes Uni along the way. You can then also convert from ACCA to ICAN within one year, achieving all the goals of ICAN plus UK degree and UK Masters and ACCA which gives you the licence to practice almost anywhere in the world. If you are very serious, I can put you in touch with someone who started the process Sept 2016 and is close to completing the BSc stage. He should have full ACCA this time next year with Masters by end of year. He is a Nairalander also. |
jaybee3:You will hear from me soonest oga |
jaybee3:Oga, abeg make we chat on email or FB. I need some step by step coaching on the coding side of things. eg how many years do you quantify as Experienced cos everything na cost-benefit analysis. I currently work within private healthcare, and you can class me as mid-Band 8c currently. I know say you been dey with our regulatory body before in similar quantitative/coding role. If one is to follow the Data Science path and jump in as a greenhorn, where would one be starting from financially etc? What languages should one be learning etc to blend it all together? Bearing in mind I'm from a quantitative background before entering finance but with poor coding knowledge. |
obainojazz:Most accountants don't study accounting in Uni. They do a chartership after uni to become accountants. Even the ones that studied accounting still have to do chartership to become accountants, so I don't see that you are behind anyone if that is your chosen route. |
nihilistjnr:Contracting na the way to go on any field but perm wages is the best way to judge long-term prospects when committing to a new learning process. What guarantee is there that by the time one qualifies, contracting roles will still be abundant and at that day rate? Generally, statisticians have always been poorly paid but I think say the developer angle go improve things somewhat. There are many data analysts and Econometricians earning 20k-30k in London who will flood the developer field if a premium is added for them adding Python to their current skills, and they will drag that rate down oh. On BI angle, from what I heard, Cognos Developers seem to start at 80k which seems to hold more prospects. |
obainojazz:Depends on your budget and chosen course. Na accounting line you dey? |
obainojazz:If you like have PHD in Accounting, you won't be able to practice in any country that makes sense without Chartership. I have a Spanish guy in my team whose BSc in Spain qualified him to practice there, but when he moved here, he had to start Chartership from scratch. I would assume you are on ICAN path? If so, your first step should be conversion to ACCA. I doubt CIMA and ACA would give you as much starting credits as ACCA cos from what I heard ICAN is almost modelled after ACCA. |
nihilistjnr:Thanks, so R and Python is the way to go? I don dey use Cognos since, thinking to learn the development side of Cognos to add another string to the bow. How much can you earn on the R or Python side of big data? |
larride:Why would you do Masters in Management Accounting? Your chartership is what counts in Accounting and if you are to top up with Masters do so in MBA, MSc in Finance or CFA. Masters in Accounting is almost redundant. That said, if you wish to get a Masters in Accounting, you are best going through the Oxford Brooks route while simultaneously pursuing ACCA. For less than N1.5m, you can gain ACCA chartership, with BSc and Masters from Oxford Brookes. I am currently sponsoring a mentee in Nigeria through Oxford Brooks route. He is currently writing his thesis at BSc stage. |
nihilistjnr:Bros make we yarn this one. Please expatiate. |
