Danny Welbecks injury comes at a most unfortunate time with his contract expiring this summer. No club will give him a contract of certain value coming off that injury. He will need to accept reduced terms and maybe a shorter contract cos he has to prove himself over again. |

Unlimited22: Italy themselves ignored Jorginho till very recently. And they already have Casemiro and an admittedly ageing Fernandinho. You're right, Allan will be a good choice. Renato Augusto is more offensive and he's 30. Paulinho na minus one. I'm not even talking now. Allan has put together 3 solid seasons at Napoli. Jorginho was doing likewise, yet they disrespected him so long in favour of farmers like Paulinho, Ramires, Felipe Melo, Luiz Gustavo etc so he decided to pick Italy. Brazil's midfield has been dysfunctional for close to a decade now, yet they keep ignoring the skilfull ones. Fernandinho himself was ignored till he was almost 30, and they still ignore him now. Fernandinho is 33, will be 37 by the next World cup. Casemiro as far as I'm concerned doesn't have technique compared to Allan. |

Allan for Napoli is a fantastic midfielder yet Brazil won't cap him, preferring to give caps to wastepipes like Paulinho instead. That's how they lost Jorginho to Italy. |

elampiro: If Oliseh were from South America or Europe, he would have been rated far higher because he was a great DM on the field of play picking long range passes deep in his half, breaking down attacks easily and fast in movement. Instrumental in winning Afcon in his first attempt for Eagles. Won the Olympics for a small football country like Nigeria. Won the league in Netherlands and Germany.
Abeg shift with your argument. You did not recommend Pogba more than I. My concerns about him were spot on because players of his signing fees at the time hit the ground running. ......
My own now. I don dey see how we go take get result in Turin. Oliseh, my favourite Nigerian player of all time, followed by Finidi. Oliseh controlled midfield mehn. I was shocked when I went to St Mary's stadium in Southampton in 2000 or so vs Japan, to see Oliseh was the one controlling midfield with possession based football whilst Okocha was just doing some loose dribbling. That's when I knew for certain who the senior man in that midfield was. THEM NO KNOW BALL. |

OAM4J: Considering West Ham fixtures, very wrong time to sell Arnautovic. And very wrong week to get Salah, he was away to an improving Arsenal na. While everyone is bringing Arnautovic in and and his price rising, you sold him.
I am looking for way to add Arnautovic to my team sef. Waiting for Mitrovic result tonight. If he blanks again then Mitrovic and Maddison will leave for Arnautovic and another midfielder. I knew it was wrong but I've been holding Arnautovic since week 1 and riding all his injuries. I just tire mehn. |

Sarri is too truthful in his press conferences. However he needs to stop demarketing our unwanted players. He is knocking millions off their resale value.
"Moses can't play wings, only wingback"' - no club is looking for wingback.
"Drinkwater can't play in 3 man midfield" - no club is looking for 4-4-2 midfielder.
"Morata is mentally fragile" - which club will sign spearhead with low self-esteem. |

Afolabi6046: The problem is Jorginho can't mark, he's too light. But he's the best passer in England right now and he's not like our dear crazy Fab4.
A trio of Jorginho, Kovacic and Barkley would be nice but Kante is un-bench-able Some midfielders are blessed with the ability to control possession so much, they barely get attacked, and when they do, you can overlook their physical deficiency cos they seldom get pressured. Xabi Alonso in his Bayern years was one of those. Jorginho right now is falling into that category. |

Jorginho remains my main man there. |
