popizaino:That must be why Lampard has 300 career goals and Iniesta 50. |
chic2pimp:Nah, I first accepted when my brother wanted me to go with him but when I factored the £90 train fare plus the £50 ticket plus all the stress and jampacked train just for a friendly, I fashi. |
When did Bakayoko sign for Marseille? |
Vanquay:Yeah but to get knocked unconscious before that means the force exerted on him was too great. I'm suspecting lack of seatbelt possibly. |
Nihilstjnr:He was a good LB who never fulfilled the potential of his early years at Villa. Saw him at Villa Park in early 2000s in a league cup game vs Liverpool that finished either 3-2 or 4-3 to Pool. I woulda thought the driver of a Range Rover should not come off worse in a head-to-head collision with a Van unless a big van or lack of seatbelt. |
eph12:Lordfalcao |
popizaino:Only 5 times in EPL history have two players from the same club won top assist/top goalscorer, of which to answer your question: Nani-Berbatov 2011 Pires-Henry 2002 The other 3 times are Lampard-Anelka in 2009, Lampard-Drogba in 2010 and Gerrard-Suarez in 2014. Fun-fact: Lampard is a 3-time assist King. |
PDPGuy:What happened to Onyekuru? I would have liked him and Sone Aluko to make the list. |
PDPGuy:Have you got the list? |
phpfx:No it means Oba is not summoned. He can travel of his own free will but can never be summoned. |
dopeJemi:Yes oh. See wetin your fellow Nigerians dey do for UK because of "My Papa" yarns: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5726269/Two-privileged-Nigerians-battered-fellow-student-shisha-pipe.html#ixzz5FTfH4vUg Two wealthy Nigerians who battered a fellow student with a shisha pipe in an argument over who had the richest father have been spared jail. Elvis Ilonze, 20, who has had his Mercedes car covered in fur, attacked his childhood friend Prince Nnaji in the flat they shared in Brighton, East Sussex. Mr Nnaji tried to escape from the flat but Ilonze, along with his friend Daniel Oluyemi chased after him and beat him with a wine bottle on April 7 last year at about 10pm. While inside the flat Louanna Rayawa, Mr Nnaji's girlfriend, tried to stop the attack, but was pushed to the ground by Elvis Ilonze. The pair also assaulted law student Chiedozie Dibiagwu, 23, who was sitting on a chair nearby and witnessed Mr Nnaji being assaulted. Nnaji and Ilonze had known each other from Nigeria, but when Nnaji dared to suggest that he had the richer father Ilonze decided to 'teach him a lesson'. Ilonze and Oluyemi, 24, both pleaded guilty to two counts of assault occasioning grevious bodily harm and were spared jail at the Old Bailey. Ilonze, of Hendon, and Oluyemi, of Colindale, North London, admitted two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. They were each given a one-year prison sentence, suspended for 18 months. |
dopeJemi:Me and you don fight when you first land. Na that time wey you dey claim Hushpuppi and Mompha levels until my archaeologists dug up evidence of you riding molue. |
airmark:This is what the goalkeeper saw when India beat Nigeria 99-1 ![]() |
papiforreal:True talk. I was going to follow up with that point. |
Efe is saying that Yahoo boys are a positive to our balance of trade. |
airmark:If you try to put your foot on this ball and dribble, your feet will get burnt. Maybe this is what Hazard needs to learn first-time passing ![]() |
OAM4J:Congrats bro. Had no idea you were Brutallion. See this life? You were congratulating me halfway through the season from surging from around 200th position to top10, little did you know ypu would finish on top of the whole shebang. Tiri gbosa

Harry Kane put together his first 30 league goal season. A great achievement buried under Salahs even greater one. If not for some injuries, Harry could maybe have matched Salah. |
Isn't our God a wonderful God? Mr and Pietrorico were joint top of the league at the end of January. See where we found ourselves in the end.

Nihilstjnr:This is a new style of amala turning on Nairaland. When taking an L, switch sides and claim you were always on the other side.
|
naija01:Ones misfortune does not prohibit one from laughing at the misfortune of others. Stop trying to eat your L and have it. © skimpledawg |
Wait. Ayam not understanding. Are you telling me that the much hyped consolation prize of unbeaten season has disappeared like the fart of a leprous witch?
|
Nihilstjnr:This is how we know those who refuse to eat their L. They will be eating their L with pride. Since February I had been preaching how Donkeyoko cannot even lace Chalobahs boots. You used that to launch campaign against Chalobah up till October. It took for Donkeyoko to give away a goal to Juve in UCL semifinal for you to type the above, and still you insisted he is better than Matic before we bet on Airmax and even maintaining your stance all season. At season start, when we were counting Donkeyokos passes and showing how he hides on the pitch, you were mounting campaign. Now you want to backtrack and claim you always knew he was rubbish, simultaneously hiding behind Airmax. My friend eat your L without pride. Type Matic > Donkeyoko to claim your L and stop this agidi.
|
diggz:I no watch match sef? So Donkey managed to make the highlights? He only had one job which is to hide on the pitch so he doesn't get blamed, which should be easy for a midfielder to do. |
Nihilstjnr:You cannot eat your L and have it. Debate was never about Airmax, that was a sideline bet introduced much later to spice up proceedings. The midfield merchants have shown once again the importance of good midfield play, and being able to recognise good midfield play when you see it. From Mikel to Ramires to Bakayoko, when we call out midfielders, we have always been right. To claim your L, type Matic > Donkeyoko, and stop hiding behind Airmax talks. |
BushWickBill:He cannot be responsible for the defeat as no goal can be tied to him. His job is just to hide on the pitch and don't be seen in the highlights so no blame can be pinned on him. He is in ghostmode. |
Johnnyessence:Isn't Fayose owing those people 12 months salary? What was Fayemis performance in terms of salary payment? |
raumdeuter:In these 2 games, we went from 5 points clear of Spurs to Europa League position and Donkeyoko was the worst player on the pitch by miles to the point everyone questioned how he became a footballer. We knew we had to get results from these 2 games as we faced a tough February with away games at Utd and City sandwiched between the Barcelona fixtures, and knew chance of getting points there were slim. This was when we slipped from UCL to Europa league hopelessness and a professional footballer was being rated 2/10 by all and sundry. This is when Chelseabmw uttered the ominous words that Bakayoko would get Conte the sack and so it shall be. |
Nihilstjnr:They are too tired from covering Bakayokos work, both before and after he left the pitch. ![]() You think if you continue shouting about Morata only, it would make us forget that Donkeys contribution to our failed season? There is a reason why we blamed not only Torres but also Mikel and Ramires in the past. 2 names are being held up as failures of the season - Morata and Bakayoko. No amount of ranting you do here will erase that Donkeys name from our failures. Chelsea board recently acknowledged both players struggles but said they won't sell either unless the player requests it - for fear of them doing a DeBruyne or Salah Funny enough, I somehow could understand their fear in Moratas case as his problem is mental, but in Bakayokos case, I was like:
|
Nihilstjnr:Did Bakayoko leave the pitch or was he sent off? So a player who left his team to play with 10 men for 60 minutes cos he can't trap a ball should be left devoid of blame? Kontinu! When we focus on these 2 games when Chelsea slipped from UCL to Yoruba league, we see only Donkeyoko scoring 2/10 and 3/10 in the match ratings. |
raumdeuter:So are we blaming Hazard, Morata or Donkeyoko for this pivotal part of the season where Chelsea went from UCL to Sunken place. Morata was injured and Hazard scored in one of those games while Donkeyoko was playing through passes to Watford strikers and got himself sent off behind his own first touch, handing the game to Watford. This was the point at which even those mumu fans on Twitter who thought any big black man with pace can play midfield started saying if Bakayoko is a professional footballer they too can be one. The match ratings tell the whole story of who made Chelsea fall into sunken place. |
We all know the UCL was lost in Gameweek 25 and 26: We came into Gameweek 25 like this: https://i66.tinypic.com/2r7u3jb.jpg Then this happened: https://i68.tinypic.com/1zbqhyp.jpg Check the match ratings to know more: https://i65.tinypic.com/2446ygx.jpg https://i63.tinypic.com/200zfdi.jpg |
